Worst experience I've ever had getting my car system here .. I came at 12:00pm and was told that my car would be done within 2 hours and I ended up leaving at 5pm.. then I left and had all sorts of problems with my system within 2 hours .. i played my system half way only and then I smelt a burning smell in my car and later found out that my sub was the one smelling like that .. i went to a professional of systems that I've got my system from before and he said they had my gain way to high and my sub blew .. he also mentioned that there was a hole inside that was unnecessary and wiring was not the best because my whole steroid turned off finding out that there was a wire out that touched metal and that caused my stereo turn off completely .. spent $400 for all this to happen and on top of that the sub was worth 450 .. worst place to ever get a system done read more

Stay away. Rip off artists. Have taken my car to them a few times before and have had decent interactions. However, the last time, they installed headlights that kept blinking and simply told me to go to the dealer to pay $150 to turn it off. They didn't refund the purchase. Then I should have learned my lesson. Went in today and talked to the older guy who co-owns the store about installing a radio. Their ad says $20 installs. However, this guy had the nerve to try to charge me $90. They don't honor their work and now they don't honor their ads. If you want to get ripped off, then take your vehicle here. GM is owned by a father and son. The son, Bashier, is so incredibly knowledgeable about anything/everything to do with cars--it's actually great to sit and just have a conversation with him. Bashier is one of those gifted people that can just look at the car and know exactly what a customer needs and exactly how much it will cost. He installed my car stereo about a month ago--I love it every time I drive. Last week, I brought my wife's car for the same, and about 2 days later, she was having some problems with it. I brought her car back to Bashier and he had the problem solved in an hour and we were on our way. It took 4 hrs to install a Car Stereo Deck and a rear view camera. My wife was told it would only take 2 hours and arrived early around 10am. At one point the car was left for at least a half hour with nobody working on it. When she asked why it was taking so long they said they were busy. This is complete bull crap because when she arrived she was the only person there. Or car was just abandoned midway through the job. My wife and 11 yr old son were forced to sit there for hours whike they did god knows what. I'm beyind pissed off if you can't tell already. I called gm electronics to get my windows tinted since they done most of the work on my vehicles. i was quoted $120 for all my windows (7 windows) so i schedule an appointment. when i went to my appointment the dad (owner) told me it was $200, i old him no i was quoted $120 and am not paying $200 for the tint. so i told him i spoke with his son and he said $120 and the dad told me no thats impossible, and told me to get out of the store he was not going to give me the price of $120 and no one will ever give you that price am the owner of the store and i set the prices!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i just told him to f*** off this is last time i bring any of my cars and service to you guys and the last time i refer customers to you..... read more

After short few months the aftermarlet led bulbs were falling out of its socket. I took my vehicle to Different location to have the lights rewired through a professional service and they found multiple issues and errors that were done on the original installation, very Disappointing and Frustrating. read more

If you care about your car DON'T GO HERE. All I wanted was to buy 4 new speakers for my new car since the stock ones were really bad. He had a nice product. Memphis at a decent price. My mistake was having them install them! They put screws in the bottom the front door panel. Why? If it was done properly there's no need to do that. That was discovered when I had my windows tinted, not here, another shop that's professional. Also when I first looked at the speakers they showed me a box that was two way, they installed 3 ways, I'm not sure if that's better or not. The point is they don't communicate well. They just slapped in speakers in the back too. Once I put some bass in the car it rattled like hell! I had to take my sub out because it was so bad. I took upon my self to remove the rear tray to find out what was going on. There are 8 snap in plugs that connect the rear tray to the rear metal deck, Mine tray was missing 3! No wonder it vibrated so much. What a joke! My 9 year son could have done a better job of installing this. You get what you pay for. Maybe buy their products but if you like your car don't let them touch it. Maybe they need to send their installers to install school. If I were to take it back they would more than likely deny the missing plugs although they were the first ones to touch my car. Well I went here because most of the people I know come here. So I came and gave it a try. I wasn't happy with the fact that the guy had to cut the strip of weather strip on my two week old car. Oh well I guess that's the only way to get a perfect fit. After the tint dried up I noticed small bubbles in some of the Windows so I called the place and told them. The good thing is that they said to bring it in. No questions asked. The gut doing the tints is nice. He said to me "if you're not happy with them I'll replace them. No problem". So in a way I'm mad that I had to go get it fixed but I'm glad they didn't give me crap. read more

Do not go to this place! I came there to get a Bluetooth adapter and speakers installed. I already had all the equipment so they just needed to charge me for the labor. After a couple hours I get a call saying the work is complete. I get there and they tell me they couldn't install the bluetooth adapter but I can purchase one from them (which was 100 dollar more). I told them I would think about it and get it done at another time. I get my car and notice my navigation screen was popped up. I thought that was peculiar but thought nothing of it. I drive off and put the screen down and notice 2 tips on my leather dashboard. I come back and the manager Jerry takes a picture of it and says "let me show this to my upholstery guy and I'll call you Monday". He never called me so I called that Tuesday. They told me the picture wasn't good enough and he needed to see it person. I take off work that Thursday and wait for their upholstery guy. I wanted the bluetooth installed so I figure let me kill 2 birds with one stone and get the dash fixed and the adapter installed. I got there at 10am and waited until 4. They bring me my car and the dash looks worse then it was before. He claims he is going to find another upholstery guy. He never calls me back so I researched some places and prices. Find a guy who charges a decent price so I called the shop. He doesn't want to pay that price and claims he found another guy and he will call me to schedule a repair. He never calls so I went to the shop today. He claims he called me and left a voice mail (which is a flat out lie). I just took the refund for the adapter and I am getting the dash repaired on my own. Totally unprofessional and treated me like I was bothering them. Made an appt. for my 2dr nissan to get tinted, they gave me my estimate. After it was done they added $60 to total for removing tint when they never asked if it was tinted before hand. Maybe another way to get more money from people i dont know. Upon arrival i noticed a big scratch on my drivers side door that wasnt there before i dropped it off. I just got my car repainted and I took a video before dropping it off, proving there was no scratch before hand. The guy behind counter said they would schedule for body work to be done and they would let me know. Really inconvenient, just wanted to get windows tinted and be satisfied. Did not want to have this be a long process on a car i use to go to work everyday. Its a daily driven car so this is a really big inconvenience. Also windows arent tinted to well, bubbles are present and thescratch windows in several places. I should have just went to another spot, they did more bad than good. read more

I wish I can leave a review without giving them a star, because trust me they don't even deserve that. I'm hoping the owner does background checks on the employees that work there. These people ask money first and then make you wait hours then days then weeks until they do the simplest task like tinting windows. Why should I wait for hours just to get my windows tinted if the shop has no cars. Guys hanging around listening to music ordering pizza and chatting it up. Worst experience ever. Wouldn't recommend anyone here, unless you want to hand over your vehicle to idiots to fuck up and when you bring it back for them to fix their mistakes you get a nasty attitude. They will give you a time to come in and then make you wait forever just to do a simple fix up. Management is puss poor for sure. Went in today to get a deck installed. Originally worked with Bashier ( i think his name was ) and he was really helpful. I told him my price range and he had my new deck installed within 30 minutes. I went home and realized My usb connect was not compatible with my iphone . My Auxiliary cord was also not working. I returned to the shop and spoke with bashier and a man whos name starts with a J ( i cant remember , my apologies )and J swapped out my deck for one that charges / plays my iphone as well as threw in an aux cord that worked =] Overall im very content with My experience with Gm and I will return / refer my friends to this Location !!Thank You Gm ! its nice too go somewhere and experience good service . hard to come around now a days read more

The WORST. Don't ever go here. I went there for a simple amp and speaker hook up. Simple right? NO! My amp was already mounted to the speaker box ready to go and what do they do; un-mount it and mount it right to my floor on the carpet. Then run an ugly wire sticking out of the top of the box for no reason. AFter they were done i left and it sounded good for about 5 minutes then i kept hearing it ground out over and over again. after about an hour of driving around i went back and as i pull up my speaker blows because they hooked it up wrong. Then they tell me it was MY FAULT (are you serious) that the speaker blew and that the fuses also blew in my amp. Possibly breaking that too. So I paid them $120 to break all my stuff and take no responsibility for what they did. SCREW THIS PLACE!!!! read more

I had them install my subwoofer years ago in my nissan and they did a great job! So it was natural that when I got my new car I came back. Even though I live 2 hours away it was worth it! I forgot the screws to my amp so I had to purchase a new amp, he gave me a discount since I was unable to drive 4 hours to give him the screws I left at my house. And I did have to come back same day to have them mount the subwoofer since I didn't I tell them where I wanted it mounted to. Only thing I would update is their drop box. I had an appointment at 10a and was instructed to drop the keys in the drop box since I wanted to drop the car off at 9a. The issue is once I did, I heard my keys hit the concrete floor, and through the inch crack from the concrete flooring to the door and I was able to fish out my keys. Was a little stressed so I ended up just dropping the car off at 10a and ubering to my next destination. Great job otherwise! read more

Hands down, GM Electronics is by far -- the best place to go to get your electrical installs/tires/rims, etc. I have an extensive history with this company, my family and myself are loyal customers! Because its rare to find trusted QUALITY services that you can depend on regardless of the year, make, and model of your car! 2003 - Mercedes SLK. Back in 03' I brought Bashir my prized car! I was nervous and cautious of letting anyone install anything on my car. I wanted a new 8 disc CD changer, all new speakers and deck. I went to the dealership and was quoted over $2,000.00. (JESUS!). I searched and found several other quotes from other electronic shops (range $1,650 - $1,800). A close friend and mentor recommended me to GM Electronics and my life was forever change. Not only did I get everything I wanted -- Bashir installed better equipment than I expected, was thorough in his knowledge of the installation process and products being installed, .... I was seriously impressed, and he only charged me $1,350! The price was beyond fair and I walked away satisfied. 2005 - Chrysler Crossfire. I loved this car -- didn't love the 19' tires on the rear though. Went to Big O Tires in Pittsburg for a price check, and the prices seemed outrageous for some regular ass looking tires! After wasting 3 hours of my time looking through some basic tire catalogs, I decided to go to GM. I told Big O' Tires that I was going somewhere else. They asked me where? When I told them, they knew of GM's reputation of speedy, affordable services/variety -- Big O' tried to deter me from leaving, "Oh yea -- your going to get a cheaper tire... But they get all of there tires from Japan! That's why they're so cheap." I laughed. Cause I can care less where my tires come from, just make sure it's quality. Not only did GM blow Big O' Tire out of the water with there catalog selection and prices -- but heres where you really get your moneys worth @ GM, the level of expertise that Bashir and his team bring to the table is out of this world! With so many options, I felt a little overwhelmed and frustrated trying to work within my budget. Bashir was very hands on and helped me select appropriate rims for my car. Went with 20's all around -- #crispy. Spent $2,200.00 on my Laxani's. ***Every time that I have ever made a purchase at GM Electronics -- I walk away feeling like a champion! I walk away feeling enhanced -- The product is solid, the customer services is even better 100!*** 1970 - Mustang Coupe (500 horse power). Somebody hit my Chrysler Crossfire (R.I.P), so I had to go into my garage and pull out my old school. This is my baby that I've been working on for over 14 yrs. At this point in my life, I don't even think about taking my car somewhere else. I brought my car in to have them cut out the radio, install dual den device (touch screen/nav/bluetooth), GM installed subs, all new speakers -- again, I was blown away at the technical job/art -- the install was flawless. **for the first time ever, on this install I had an issue with the original deck installed and the sub had blown out on me!*** 1. At the start of the install -- I'm so faithful/and have so much confidence in GM and Bashir that I didn't realize that I didn't tell them exactly the type of deck I wanted to have installed -- so the wrong deck was installed. After I took the car home, I realized the error. I talked to Bashir, and the problem was resolved instantly without making me feel shamed! I ended up paying a little more for the better deck, but again, after the install -- I walked away feeling like a champion! I wasn't hassled about the error that I caused at all.... WOW! That's service! 2. 1.5 weeks after the install, the sub went out. Again, I brought my car back and Bashir took care of it, no questions asked, why? Because he is truly en expert. That's A-1 customer support -- GM is beyond just giving you good customer service, this organization is also about providing support to their customers in times of distress. Now, I'm currently completing my Doctorate in clinical psychology -- and my new Porsche needs speakers... Guess where I'm going! We brought our 24' RV here this past week to have the windows tinted - all 19 of them! They had tint on them but it was beginning to peel up & it had turned purple, so it was quite a job just to get off the old tint & glue. I had called around for estimates & GM quoted me the best estimated price over the phone. At first I thought the price was a bit high, but come to find out it was the best price out there, and then Basher offered to knock some off of that, so we feel the price was very fair. The guy who does the actual tinting - Victor - is the sweetest guy in the world, & also excellent at what he does. We thought we wanted a fairly light tint, but he showed us the differences with what a limo tint would look like as opposed to the lighter tint we thought we wanted.....& boy were we glad he knew his stuff cause it came out looking great! Who would believe that with 19 windows to do - & some practically laying on your back to get to - that every one of them would come out perfect? But they absolutely did, & we were extremely pleased. Both of our sons have come here for tinting on their classic cars - like a 1996 Impala - & one of them is so anal about his 'baby' that I knew when he chose this place to put his car in their hands, it had to be the best...& he was right. One other plus here - when I called around, the other difference was that G.M. was the only one to tell us that it could be done immediately - like the next day. The other 2 tinting places in Concord (I don't feel I need to mention names & bash them) - that I called balked about the job when they found out it was an RV (with 19 windows)....said things like 2-3 weeks to do it...if we were lucky. So GM was the only one that didn't make us feel like we were a 'pain in the ass job' to do. We've been self-employed folks for 40 years, and Victor & Basher treated us like I treat my own customers, - with respect & great service. Victor told us that a few of the windows took him 3 times to do it right, but he got to the very edges of each window perfectly, so his conscientiousness was much appreciated. We'd highly recommend them for any job they can do, especially since service - & getting the job done right - is their #1 priority apparently. And Basher, if you read this, Victor deserves a raise!
