i used to go to these guys for everything. i decided to purchase rims for my fiance car, made an apt at 3pm , he got there at 245. they imformed him it will take 2 hours. we left did errands came back 3 hrs later and they did not even start his car. when we arrived no one was there getting work done. we complained why all these other people are getti g service with no appointment? he says oh well we got behind. i asked WHY did we not receive a call letting us know this? then he says oh our tech is not feeling good and called in sick, says he will get to it asap. we waist another 2hrs. on our way out we heard them say "WHO FORGOT ABOUT HIS CAR?" smh so unprofessional about all of it. not to mention they failed to balance the tires because they were rushing. You can not beat GM Electronics prices! I had a Pioneer touch screen installed in my truck along with an auto start\alarm installed for $1050 out the door! Everywhere else wanted $1150 + for just the Pioneer touch screen to be installed! They are usually very willing to work something out to help you stay within your budget! The only issues that I have ever had with them is that they usually take a bit longer to install something than they tell you (1 hour =2 hours). They also installed a grey speaker box when I wanted a black box (but I didn't clarify what I wanted) So at the end of the day do your research and go in knowing what you want and they will usually beat anybody's prices! read more

I made an appointment at a specific time. They told me it'll take about an hour and sent me to the waiting room. 2 hours later and no one has even looked my trucks way. I went back in side they told me 10 more minutes. 30 minutes later they finally brought my truck in to get the 2 front windows tinted. I can say the guy behind the front desk was nice. They do need to work on there scheduling or tell people they'll call them when their vehicle is ready not send them to the waiting room to sit for hours. read more

They did a great job!! Yes there are customer complaints about it taking too long. But todo a good job it takes time. My Sound system rocks!!!And my tint looks great! One thing you cannot roll your windows down for a few days yes it did take most ofthe day. The price was right! I was referred by a good friend who spent thousands of dollars with these guys. I thought that since his experiences were good mine would be as well. I was sadly mistaken. First off the wait time was at least 7 hours for two speakers on the rear deck. I asked midway through at about 1:05 pm on 8-12-16 if the could fix the problem I was having with my driver side door actuator. The manager said it would be probably done in three hours. It was my day off, so I said I could go do something else and come back. I come back at 3:44 PM and the car had the speakers I requested installed, but they said they hadn't gotten around to the lock actuator. Again I was patient and waited until 5 by which time nothing was done, still!!! I volunteered to come back on Sunday to which the technician said, "that's fine." I scheduled an appointment for Sunday. I went to my car and the driver side door was loose. I inspected and the lock lever was broken and the door panel was stripped off the door. A young guy came over after and told me, " It looks like someone tired glued the lock [to fix it]" I said, "it wasn't like that before. I took it off a week ago and everything was fine." After that a more experienced tech came over to inspect and tried zip tying and then, finally, super gluing to fix the major issue someone else caused. For the record it was the young guy without a doubt. I spoke with the manager and he said he would "fix" the problem. I left angry and left my car in their care. I have yet to see if they fixed the problem. Needless to say I'm royally pissed off. 6:20 pm 8-12-16 Thanks Basheir. I appreciate the olive branch you've extended to me. I really appreciate the enormous deal you gave me. People who read this. Ignore the the former part of this message! I would recommend this business!!! We came to them so we could give them our business over Best Buy and they were more expensive by $10 for the item we needed but we wanted to give our business to the small business. Well that backfired in our face. When you buy and car stereo (not installed) and then realize you don't need it because yours was not in fact broken and had a disconnected wire, you cannot return it. I could have returned it at Best Buy, so now I am stuck with a $163 stereo I don't need. I wish they would inform you before you finalized your purchase that there are no returns, only store credit. :( read more

If you need stereo work done, these guys do an excellent job but could give a shit less about how long you have to wait or even about fixing their own mistakes. Got a head unit and amp installed, and it only took FOUR trips there and WELL OVER EIGHT hours of waiting altogether. My last visit there took over 3 times longer than they initially told me (45 min-hour). On top of that, they technician installed my amp in the wrong spot! The owner assured me I could come back anytime and it would be free to move. Set up an appointment today for my amp, showed up ON TIME, and continued to wait for THREE HOURS!! in the waiting room. Once I hit the three hour mark I went back in to complain and they told me I was done and gave me my keys back. Complete disregard for my time/customer service. Went here last month before fathers day . Walked in just to get some speaker wire, walked out with a 300$ tv deck and an appointment for my dad to get his windows tinted lol . If i could give it no stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE. LIARS and STEALERS. They completely took advantage of me. I will try to make it short but it will be hard with all the wrong and dishonest things they did. Bought an amp, sub, speakers, and deck. It took the entire day( understandable if done correctly) yet they didn't even do half the things they were supposed to. Didn't hook up my back speakers or brace my sub, Recently my car was stolen and all of this equipment was taken after my car was recovered. My insurance company agreed to replace everything once they saw proof that it was actually in my car, through wiring and what not. Turns out there was no proof because they DID NOT HOOK ANYTHING UP. The main power source for the amp that runs from the battery through the car to the amp NEVER EVEN EXISTED so there was no proof that it was even there. In short I PAID FOR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THAT I NEVER RECEIVED. When I confronted them about it they SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY CAN DO because they have thousands of customers. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH YOU SHOULD NEVER GO HERE unless you want to get majorly ripped off. and get this when I told my INSURANCE COMPANY who did the work they SAID no wonder and they are NOTORIOUS FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE read more

Do not use this shop for GPS or back up camera installation. I had service done last week. I needed to have a vanity license installed and was in San Jose. I took it to another shop and I had to essentially repay for the entire installation. GM electronics ran the wiring through the trunk underneath the seal to the trunk and it was just a matter of time before the wiring had a significant problem as it was metal on metal. All in all, I'm going to have to pay double to have the work re-done properly. Cheap certainly is not the best in this case and you are better off finding a quality shop to do the work. read more

My son had a problem with his stereo not working. GM was able to fix it in under an hour and charged him only the diagnostic fee. While I didn't have any direct dealings with the shop, my son was very happy with how he was treated, how fast his car was repaired and how much he was charged. read more

This place does not stand behind their products or warranties. I bought a set of rims here and they noticed a small chip near one of the lug nuts. but it was barley noticeable so i let it go. but with in about two weeks it had continued chipping so i brought them in with in the 30 day warranty and was told the manager was not in and to bring them back. when i did they claimed the 30 day warranty wasn't for manufacturer defects and they had to send them to the manufacturer. turns out the manufacturer doesn't offer warranties on their products. When I told gm they said there was nothing they could do. Im never going back to this place again. read more

Hello everyone As promised I said once I returned to GM, I would update my review. I went back yesterday and my installer was there so he was able to look at my car. It did not start out well as he seemed annoyed that I was back. But I have to credit Mohammed for making sure I was good before I left. Turns out the Microphone was bad so installing a new one fixed everything. The back up camera is another issue, we tried each back up camera there but still snowy and fuzzy at night. I will have to look for another camera that is more compatable with the Pioneer deck. I went home more satisfied than my last trip so I decided if I need additional work, I will bring my car back. These guys are awful, they are the biggest rip off in town. They look at me, a 17 year old kid, as just a way to make money. A couple months ago I had these guys put a full system in my car for almost 2k. Now the only part of the system I didn't get from the shop, was the box. (Subs,amp,speakers,deck) so about 2 months after this happened, I wanted to get a new box. I had 2 12" rockaford fostgate. Upon getting the new box, the guy told me that 10s would sound better in my car because it was a truck. I don't know too much about car audio so I guess I believed him. He swapped my rockaford fostgate 12s for some kicker comp 10s. (Not to mention while I got the new box, I also got all my windows tinted at the shop.) So I have my new box for about a month and decide I wanna upgrade my subs. I return to the shop and ask a kinda younger guy behind the counter, "how can I upgrade my subwoofers." He says, "well you can upgrade to a 12 inch sub or you could get some rockaford fostgate 10s." This made me extremely angry because obviously I had 2 12" rockafords that were taken from me BY THE SHOP. Once I told him and the owner about my situation they didn't even wanna talk to me. Probably because they knew it sounded messed up. I returned to the shop about 3 times before finally getting to talk to the owners son who had been the one ripping me off. He was 0 help at all and was even trying to sell me new subs. The best part is, he was trying to sell me subs for 150$ each that were 80$ brand new online..... Such a joke. Never returning. And I will go out of my way to tell people to stay away from this shop. I made a yelp because this shop has a sign in the store saying " rate us on yelp!" Well GM.... Here's your review on yelp. I bought a stereo at Best Buy but several people told me not to have it installed there. A friend recommended GM electronics and I can't thank her enough. Their total price for the parts and installation was half of what BB wanted just for installation. I expected to make an appointment but they put it in right away while I sat in their cozy waiting room. I was in and out in less than an hour. Before I left, one of the employees sat in my car with me to point out some features I didn't even know the stereo had. They have great prices and great service. I highly reccomend them. read more

Left my 280z for a window tint last Tuesday at 330p.. 7pm and never received a call so decided to drive to the place , they had closed already. They locked up my car inside with out my permission with all of my house keys and work truck keys, I had to borrow a car to go home ,luckily I have a code remote opener. Next day call them at 10 am and the say my car should be ready at 12:30 , before heading out there from Antioch I give them a call and guess whaat?? They will not tint my windows their technician lazy bastard would not wanna cut by hand to my car because it's a 78 model . I drove up there to get my deposit and car. They never apologize for any inconvenience on the contrary they blame me saying : we been trying to reach you ... liers... First it took them 12 hours to install my stereo. Then sold me an amp from 2011 at no discount, or telling me how old it was. Bought 2 12" kicker speakers. They have all the wiring wrong. It blows the speakers if you barely turn it up. I do not recomend this store. custumer service sucks. read more

Honestly don't go here. They sold me a Double Din LCD stereo for 218 knocked down from 359. Once I got home I looked it up for reviews since they said it was good. Turns out it was 150 on the manufacturers website. They jipped me. Not to mention they rip you off with installation. I brought my car with the dash opened up and everything exposed. Had the amp installed except the RCA cables and remote wire. They charged me 150$. And I still put the dash back in myself. Oh yeah my amp worked before I brought it there and now it doesn't. So I had to pay 140 for another one. Seems to me like they broke it. Also my trim on the bottom of my door is broken. Other than that they did a good job. I say buy your system online and bring it here if you plan on going here. But honestly pay extra for a different place. Ittl be worth It. read more

When I was there last, I noticed they replace tires as well. So, I needed 4 tires for my wifes 2013 Porsche Cayenne. I called them and Bernie actually gave me a better deal than the big tire guys. They had the tires in the next day. I went today for the install, and was treated great! They didn't have me wait and Mario the tire "guy" was friendly and a tire expert. Every time I go here I just feel like it is a great little business. I spoke to Bashier (i believe the owner) and I really get the feeling like he treats everyone there (his staff) very nicely and as a result makes you fell like its a family business. This is my husband and my favorite place to go! They just treat you right and make you feel like family. The owner "B" is always right there to help and the lady who works there is the nicest lady I've came across in a very long time. Needed to go to the bank to pull out money and without asking she just pulls her own car upfront and drove me there. I just realy like when a place you go spend your hard earn money doesnt make you feel like a customer more like family. I have been here twice, several years apart and both times have been good experiences. They have the best prices on labor and equipment. I plan on always going to GM when I need after market electronics for my vehicles. So far I got a new stereo, sub woofer and amp for my old chevy S10 and I just got a sub woofer and amp in my new truck.
