The whole two hours felt like it went by so fast because we talked about everything from relationships, to food, to korean dramas lol! Anna was super easy to converse with and made sure I was comfortable throughout the application process. I let her know that I'd need it to last throughout my wedding and honeymoon and she assured me she uses a strong gel. Anna seemed very knowledgeable and provided great insights into the world of lash extensions! She also waxed my brows for me and created the shape I've always wanted. My eyebrows are naturally on the thicker, "bushier" side, so I appreciated her working with me to create the best brows for my face shape. First, it was really easy to make my appointment and also find the location and parking. Libby got me started right away, answered all my questions expertly, and made me feel really comfortable during the whole process. Second, I can't believe how thorough she is! I have short, light colored, and what I consider to be sparse, lashes. She separates each lash to find the right ones to attach individual extensions to individual lashes. Let me preface this next part by saying it's hard to take a photo of your own eye, haha. I also screwed up and didn't take a "before" pic so I cropped an old photo because the comparison is crucial! The lashy photo was taken a week after I got them. They still look 100% amazing. It's a nice change from my routine to just roll outta bed and not worry for a second about eye makeup. Not that I spent a TON of time on it before, but it's great waking up looking so put together ;) Libby gave me a little after care kit and it's fool proof. I've heard many horror stories about crappy lash salons so I did a lot of research and will absolutely me revisiting Libby again & again. I asked over the phone if they could soak off my gel polish vs drill it off as I have had some trauma to my nail beds and am trying to rebuild and strengthen my nails. They said yes! Got to our appointment and verified at the desk, where they said no, they could not soak off. I asked why, to which they said they only drill off the color (I had a couple of old designs on a clear polish background), and they'd never let the drill touch my nail bed. I was hesitant but agreed. I had a mani/pedi. The woman doing my toes filed off the first layer of old gel and soaked off the rest. Yes! Exactly what I wanted! Then the mani came (at the same time) and I shared with her again that I've had nail trauma and would like to soak off. She said they can't do that. I looked at my feet, seeing them in fact doing just that. She promises she won't drill my nail beds. Well, she did, of course. And she cut four of my fingers doing cuticle work. My nails are thin, in pain, and bleeding. Not sure why they could soak off my toes but not my hands considering they were the exact same kind of gel. Pretty disappointing experience considering the spot is really nice and pretty pricey. Won't be returning.
