I saw her for my trial and it was everything I wanted and more. It wasn't heavy but it still photographed well. She provided great skin tips, product recs also did a great job with the groom touch up and mother of groom make up as well (both Caucasian). She and her team were communicative, flexible and got everything done on time. I'd love to come back and take a makeup lesson with Christy in the future.

I am a June 2023 bride. My biggest worry in trying to find a Hair & MUA for my wedding was: I…read morewanted to have a natural/soft glam style of makeup for my wedding day AND I have Asian features and haven't had the best experience with Western makeup styles and products. There are only a handful of vendors that meet these requirements, but I was so happy when I came across Christy K. When I had my trial, I could tell Christy was very knowledgable and provided excellent recommendations given that I was a very lost bride with almost no clue what direction I wanted to go for my makeup. On the day of the wedding, we had a very limited time window with 7 ladies who needed to get ready. Christy and her team not only got us ready with beautiful makeup & hair, but also finished much faster than the timeline we had previously discussed! And therefore, we had more time to do other wedding related activities. Her rates were also very reasonable. We received many compliments of how beautiful, yet natural we looked! There is one special thing I wanted to note about Christy and team. I had an outfit change from my Western bridal dress into my Chinese qipao. The makeup style for these two outfits can sometimes be very different - and if not done correctly, I wouldn't have looked as good in one or the other. However, the way Christy and her hairstylist did my hair and makeup worked perfectly with both outfits. Incredible talent! I don't always like how I look in photos and videos, but the way Christy and her team got us ready (as well as the few photo sneak previews) has me so excited for the upcoming photos and videos! I am so grateful for Christy K and team for making me look and beautiful on my wedding day! If you're looking for a top-notch makeup and hair artist that specializes in Asian features, I highly recommend Christy and team!

I booked Arianna Scott after she was referred by a friend who looked stunning on her wedding day…read more Lucky for me, Arianna was available on my initial wedding date and later on my final wedding date after a postponement (thanks, pandemic). I had many emails with Arianna's team when booking, and coordinating the trial hair + makeup (for me), and day-of hair + makeup for myself and my bridal party. Arianna's admin team was always responsive within a reasonable timeline, and took extra efforts to reach me (text, calls, follow up emails) for anything time sensitive. The most important part of my experience - how absolutely talented Arianna is! Arianna did my trial makeup ~1 month before my wedding and I was so glad I booked that service. It allowed her to run with my initial vision, then allowed me to see what changes I wanted for day-of. Arianna remembered and flawlessly executed my requested changes from the trial look (more of a cat-eye, standard vs subtle lashes, tighter styled updo) on my wedding day. Speaking of my wedding, it was a 95-100 degrees and sunny for my mostly-outdoor wedding! I was worried I'd sweat off some of my makeup, and my hair wouldn't hold the styles nor curls after pictures, none the less making it through the ceremony and reception. I don't know how Arianna did it but my hair and makeup stayed THE ENTIRE DAY. My photographer was also impressed with the long lasting details. My only touch ups were reapplying lipstick, and lightly re-circling the hair framing my face. All this is more than enough reason to trust Ariana to help you feel your best for a special event, but on top of being an incredibly talented MUA - she's also a great person and a joy to get to know. Thank you, Arianna!!

Her work is not only makeup but bringing out the beauty in a person. The vision comes natural to Arianna Scott and she genuinely cares. I am so happy to have found someone who can not only transform me for an event, but has the extra eye for details and brings out the natural beauty! I highly recommend her!

For me -- a girl who doesn't even own lipgloss -- Katie was an incredible find. She made me cry (and I don't cry easily) just because she was absolutely willing to come to my house makeup for my big day. I don't know if it was the time of year....or just the fact that I didn't have a bridal party or a 'big' wedding planned with a lot of people needing makeup/hair...but I had a few makeup artists turn me down and 'remember' another forgotten commitment after I mentioned 'elopement' and my desire not to leave my house. :( Anyways, back to Katie : She is WONDERFUL. She clearly understands 'low-key' makeup and hair very well, is affordable, and she is VERY EASY to work with. She works for no extra cost within the Seattle area. She made me look and feel amazing, and told me some great stories (she is a dancer) to help stave off the nerves. Getting to spend most of the day with my fiance (and not tucked in a salon far away from him) was such a great thing. I am eternally grateful to Katie for letting me do that.

Thank goodness I found Megan. I had a very vague Pinterest idea of what I wanted for hair and makeup, and Megan used those pics during the trial and worked with me to help clarify what my wedding day look would be. Megan made me, my mom, and my MIL look fantastic for my wedding day-- she knows how to handle Asian and Caucasian makeup with ease, flattering our features and really making sure the makeup shone through in the photography as well. Between the trial and the day-of, I changed my mind about my hair style and accidentally got a botched brow wax a little too close to the wedding, and she handled both of those with ease and flexibility on the day of the wedding. Megan is professional, friendly, has a great sense of humor, and was willing to wake up incredibly early (she arrived at 5:15 am) to do our makeup and hair. She even managed to finish everyone's makeup and hair about a half hour to an hour ahead of time, which, as a type-A bride, I was extremely grateful for. She uses high-quality products and my makeup basically lasted the entire day. I also found her pricing to be extremely fair-- no "early morning" fees or other hidden expenses, too. Hire her! She's the best!
