The business's policies and communication have been confusing and unprofessional. The disclaimer…read morestates that if a deposit is not paid, an appointment will not be booked. However, I was able to book an appointment without paying the $50 deposit. Later, I received text messages stating that I could not schedule any future appointments until I paid the deposit because I had allegedly missed an appointment, but not thinking that it was actually booked until I paid it! This creates unnecessary confusion and miscommunication about whether the deposit is actually required. If the deposit is mandatory, the booking system should consistently enforce that policy, and not allow you to book without payment! I also do not appreciate being contacted through personal text messages regarding an alleged balance. If the business believes I owe a fee, I would expect a formal invoice or written documentation through the appropriate business channels. Repeated text messages requesting payment are not a professional way to handle billing matters. Definitely will take my 450.00 elsewhere!

This is the worse hair experience I've had. I wanted to deep dark brunette color, and I already had medium/dark brown hair. The stylist asked me how I felt about a little red in my color and I said why not. It has been one week and ALL of the red dye and brown dye washed out of my hair. Each time I washed it with my expensive color care products more and more dye came out. The dye is all over my towels. Now I have brassy light brown hair. I'm devastated. I don't have endless money to fix this. It was $273. I called the salon and left a message. They never returned my call to offer to fix it. Bad, bad experience. A lot of hairdressers don't seem to know how to work with my hair type and are hesitant to give me the cut I want, but Grace listened and asked clarifying questions to ensure we were on the same page. I'm in love with the haircut she gave me! It was exactly what I wanted. Grace was extremely kind and welcoming throughout the visit, and I left the salon knowing she'd be my go-to for future haircuts! But the last cut was a bit uneven and sticking out a lot. We have had decent cuts there but is hit and miss. We have had some really bad ones too. We always do a boys scissor cut and keep it a bit longer on top so it doesn't stick out. Grace was able to cut it very even without ridges. There was a problem area that kept sticking out and she was able to cut it short on the inside to help it lay down better. His hair looks so much better than it's looked in a long time. And she got us in on the same day I called. There is a parking lot which is a plus. It says studio 8 on the outside so don't let that confuse you. I will likely go back again. Ask for the first time client discount on yelp.
