I could honestly say that this is the best place anyone could go to get the most amazing pedicure anyone has ever gotten. As a guy I just went for a basic pedicure, and I honestly felt like I was being pampered. The owner was not only professional, but she did an amazing job making me feel welcomed, and even make me feel like part of her family. I don't live anywhere here, but I would definitely fly back just to get another pedicure at this place. read more

So this place recently changed management and all the workers. Actually the new people all formerly worked at moon light spa nails (and I followed them here!).The old reviews don't reflect the good job they do. Ms. CC is extremely thorough with manis/pedis and their prices are super reasonable for the area. Recommend! read more

NOTE: Maybe you don't know, but Yelp requires a business pay $500/month for access to respond to derogatory reviews. Also, Yelp moves derogatory reviews ahead of favorable ones. Yelp is biased. Read on for my review. I have been a customer for several years and ALWAYS have great service. Parking is now a little tricky because HEB has taken over the prime spots for reserved grocery pickup. I have gel manis and pedis and leg waxing. Service is always prompt, the entire staff is attentive, the shop is clean and the selection of polishes is top notch. read more

This salon is the only salon that I have been to in Austin where the gel French manicures lasts for 3 weeks with little to no chipping. Customer service could be faster, and their prices are a little more expensive but 3 WHOLE WEEKS LADIES! That cuts the amount of time for refills! read more

The literal worst. And I'm the one that feels horrible for posting such an awful review so close the holidays. He made me bleed; which is okayish because he was helping me with a nasty ingrown nail but he didn't even acknowledge the blood. Said nothing, no apology. You can tell he either hates his life, his job or me apparently. Massage portion of the pedicure was terrible (but that's at most places), light touches, just rubbing in the lotion, would rather him not touch me at all. He didn't treat my calluses. Why make a "menu" and distribute said menu which states that the Spa Pedicure includes callus treatment and then FAIL TO PROVIDE said treatment. Menu of lies. I will never be back....oooh wait, as I type (still in this God awful place) a guest came back because something is wrong with previous treatment. Farewell Lifestyle Nails, farewell and never again. The picture of my manicure speaks for itself. Awful. read more

The service is amazing, the prices are reasonable. Cici and her husband are everything you could ask for as techs and people.

The man that greeted me was not very friendly, kind of direct. I announced, 2 pedicures. He said, pick your color. There was no wait time. Score! I wish they used liners on the pedi tub, they don't. I got the royal pedi and basic mani $55. She did a great job. The only thing that bothered me was that the staff was not very friendly. They just spoke (alot) amongst themselves, in a different language. Kind of rude. Pros: fast, great price and job well done. Cons: no tub liners and unfriendly staff. read more

This place is ridiculously overpriced. They kept adding $5 every time I wanted something a certain way and my nails don't even look good. The guy in the front is a douche, and just wants money. Isn't even nice to the customers who are walking in to get their nails done and have a spa experience. I got a full set of French tip and it was $50. I pay $25 to get these done (BETTER) 3 miles up the road. Don't come here. You'll get jipped and treated poorly. read more

My mother-in-law gifted me a pedicure certificate for my birthday, I upgraded to the "Hawaiian" pedicure which included a sugar scrub, paraffin wax, clay, hot towels, and an incredibly relaxing leg and foot massage. In addition to the outstanding pedicure, I also got the "organic manicure," it is their most luxurious and fairly priced at $40. Tiffany did a wonderful job and offered a lively conversation. This was a great gift to receive and a much needed treat after a long week at work. I would definitely recommend to friends and family! read more

I have been going to CC and Hung for three years for routine gel manicures and pedicures and would highly recommend them to anyone who is particular about their nails and has a special attention to detail. I even followed them when they moved from another shop to their new location at Lifestyle Nails because they are just that good! I have never had anyone really take their time like they do and be so thorough with their work, especially around the cuticles. They are unusually detail-oriented and I treasure the care they take with my nails every single time! read more

Impressive gel nails! My sweetheart and I stopped by for an impromptu manicure during our visit to Austin. I had a gel manicure from Mimi. I declare her the second best manicurist I have ever had. I am pretty difficult to impress and generally won't let anyone but my nail ladies back home clip my claws. They also use milk chocolate wax that smells really good for their waxing services. read more

This place is like home! I've had a standing mani/pedi appointment every two weeks the last 4+ years. I quickly grew to love the staff - some of whom became dear friends! Not only are the employees fun and inviting, but the service is impeccable! Vi has always done my manicure (and always will!). She's outstanding! She's a perfectionist who allows nothing less than 110%. You will absolutely see her dedication and artistry reflected in your nails. I received countless compliments on her manicures over the last several years. To top it off, prices are very competitive. The shop is extremely clean and sanitary, and you will leave feeling fabulous. read more

I've been here a couple of times for a pedicure and have always been pleased with the service. This time however, I went in for a fill and felt inspired to get some nail art done while I was there. Unfortunately, I don't think the nail tech I had (Tiffany) was the right person to do it. It was sloppy, clumpy and just poorly done. I went home and removed what she had done, and polished the nails myself so I could at least salvage the fill. However, the actual surface of the nail was uneven and bumpy and still looked terrible, even after I tried to fix it. I ended up getting the entire set removed a few days later. Needless to say, I will not return to this location for acrylic nails. I think a picture is worth a thousand words, so here it is. read more

I expected a wait on a Saturday, but nail salons usually let you sit in a massage chair and let your feet soak while you wait. Not this salon. They ignored me when I walked in, finally told me to pick a color and have a seat, I waited over 30 minutes without being told anything before I finally left. Someone walked in about 10 minutes after I arrived and they sat her in a pedicure chair. Even if she did have an appointment, there were plenty of other chairs open and they weren't busy. I walked over to another nail salon in the same shopping center and received exceptional service. read more

AVOID! Extremely bad and unprofessional service. Very rude behavior of the girl and the man who are in the front. Will never go again! They have no decency how to treat a customer. I dont understand how they even have 3 stars? The man and lady in the front are the most disrespectful and rude humans I have ever come across in my life. Everyone there is really rough and they never apologise for messing anything up. Instead they behave all aggresive and offended if you ask them nicely to something certain way. This is my first review on Yelp and their poor service made me sign up and write this Yelp Review! read more

I have been coming several times for manicure. I only reason I kept coming back was because of the girl named Hanna. She is good. However, last time I made an appointment with her, and things went down. First, I only found out when I got there that she was not there. Then the guy (I think it's the owner) just stuck me with another girl and kept saying " she is good". I got my SNS done in less than 30 mins, and less than two weeks, two chipped off, and one completely came off with my real nail! I am not going back. Btw, the guy is terrible! He is rude and pushes you for stuff, should never be in customer service!!! read more

Buyer beware. I asked for an acrylic full set. The man told me that I could get colored acrylic powder, so I chose that. Really, it was the dip nail. Which I did not want. By the time I realized it it was too late. That service is also $15 more than the acrylic set I asked for. I also asked for a manicure. I should have just asked for a cuticle trim. Their website states that a basic manicure includes polish. Well I already had color because of my full set, but he still charged me for a full manicure. And to top it off, the tips of several nails are bumpy. I used to regularly get my nails done at here, but I haven't been in a long time. It was either a bad day, for customer service and quality, or biz has just gone downhill. I won't be back read more

WARNING. Do NOT go here to have dipping powder manicure removed. They destroyed my nails with the removal process. I really hate leaving bad reviews but I feel like I could save somebody a terrible experience this way. It was my first time getting dipping powder removed, so I didn't know you are supposed to sand off just a little bit and then soak the nails to remove the rest. That's not what this salon did - they sanded all the polish off without soaking, straight down to my nails until the sander started digging into my real nails and it caused a LOT of pain. He said the pain was normal and was just from the heat of the sander. He sanded it down so severely that my nails are now so thin that I can't grow them out without bending and breaking. It's gonna take months for my nails to recover. When I got my next dipping powder removed at a different salon, they removed it properly with soaking and were shocked when I told them what I had experienced at Lifestyle nails. read more

I'll start off with a tip... If you can wait to go until Sunday at noon then do so. It's right when they open so - No crowds, no waiting. After going here and having a Milk & Honey pedicure, I am going here and here alone for my pedicures from now on. I had no idea that such luxury could exist in that crazy shopping center. I'm normally not impressed by decor but I couldn't help but notice the blown glass, iron art and enormous fish tank. This place looked and felt luxurious as opposed to the cheesy opulence that has been popping up all over town. The bars in front where they do manicures are very cool to me and their massage chairs for pedicures are probably the best available. Yes, I paid a pretty penny for the pedicure but it was worth it - $60 for a milk & honey bath, sugar scrub, clay mask and paraffin treatment added to the regular deluxe pedicure. However, it was a real treat and my toesies look fantastic. read more

I come to this place because it's convenient, not because they're good. I hate being upsold, which is what happened the first couple times I visited. The facility itself is shiny and new, the people that work there are nice and good at what they do, to a certain extent. The fact is that the pedicures I've received here have never lasted (looked good) for more than a week. Prices are reasonable if not a bit on the expensive side for the services rendered. And that's really all I have to say about that. I probably won't make another visit, seeing as how there are at least five other options within a mile. read more

Wow!! Walked in today at 1:15 PM to get a refill. I work next door at the gym so this place was convenient and I also needed to go to HEB after. A per usual, there was a bit of a wait. Not a big deal... I'll wait. Ten minutes later, the receptionist asks me if I know where their other salon down the street is..? Um, no. Why? "Well, we have a technician that is available right now. You can drive down the street." OR NOT. I don't have an issue waiting. How are you gonna assume that I have nothing better to do with my day than to drive the opposite direction of where I actually need to be? Sorry, but I'm not going to be pawned off by nail salons. I felt disrespected and unimportant. Thanks for nothing. read more

It's pretty weird when you walk into a pedicure salon at 10am and it's dead. Their TV's are always off too. The whole place looks like a cheaper version of Arboretum Nails and Spa across the street but they have the same prices. I've been here a few times with my boss for team appreciation pedicures. We got the regular pedicure which is $25 and sometimes we'll added the callus remover for the extra $5. Nothing out of the ordinary with their prices or the quality. Even the girls did an alright job and are nice, the manager however is another story. He's not friendly whatsoever. This salon doesn't have an area to go to after your nails are done so you'll sit in your chair for a little bit so they can completely dry. But don't sit too long (ie 5-10 min) or he'll come over to boot you out when the place isn't even full. He came over and raised both of the arms on mine and my boss's chairs to get us to leave. Well we're not coming back. The pedicures were fine but if you want to keep people coming back you should really have better customer service. read more

I checked around and didn't find another salon doing Shellac that was as convenient. I went back this last weekend, and observed a very "authentic Austin" hippiechick with inked arms, a septum piercing, and dreds past her shoulders getting a pedicure, chatting away with the nail artist. I wondered if perhaps the salon read the negative review and vowed to clean up their act. In any case, I did another shellac manicure (bright red) and Loann did a phenomenal job. I recommend asking for Loann-- she's so friendly and sweet, with a wicked sense of humor and near-fluent English. She's also very detail oriented, which I appreciate. My French pedicure came out perfect (again) and I'm really happy with the Shellac... finally, a manicure that lasts a full two weeks. I even did my jiu jitsu training (which is normally murder for fingernails) and you would never have known. I'm hooked. $30 for a shellac manicure and $30 for a French pedicure means I can't indulge regularly, but when I can I will. read more

Great pedicure and manicure! They really took their time. Very clean and relaxing. I will definitely be back!

This was not a worthwhile visit at all. From the unpleasant, unsmiling man at the front who told me that my waxing would cost $10 to the quick in,quick out service - and then when I went to sign out it was suddenly $18. I knew there would be an argument, this was not a customer friendly sort of place so I ate it, but I will not be back. read more

I came here on a Sunday afternoon after I did my grocery shopping at H-E-B. I originally had went to Arboretum nails and spa, but left after my presence was ignored and having received terrible customer service. I called Lifestyle because it was right across the parking lot, and the person who answered the phone told me to come right on over...that I would have no wait. I got there and had about a 20 minute late. The guy who did my nails got them done quickly which I appreciated since I had been waiting (I didn't originally anticipate). However, he was very rough with my finger nails, so much that I had to pull away once or twice. I really liked the set up of this salon. It is 1. a bar where you sit on stools versus an individual table per nail tech-customer duo. 2. It is very very clean and well-kept. What I didn't like, in addition to the wait and rough handling, was that it was $30 for a fill...before tip! too expensive for a fill. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star. I had an appointment today for a gel manicure and the lady that did my nails was rushing like she was on Amazing race, seems like she wants to finished first before the 2 walked in ladies (who doesn't have an appointment) change their minds because of the 25mins wait. she made alot of mistakes, like using regular color instead of gel etc., my nails is really messy right now, this is the worst manicure i ever had.I was so pissed off and told the cashier that I am not happy with my experience and showed her my messy nails, colors everywhere that is not supposed to be there, Cashier was disgusting! instead of feeling sorry she gave me a smart ass remarks " WELL, SHE DID YOUR NAILS TOO LONG" and I'm like WHAT THE HECK! I I was ready to explode. I regret for giving her a tip. Very annoying! I feel like crying. Now, I am trying to book an appointment to have my nails redone some other place today, i hate looking at my nails right now. Very disappointing experience. Got my toes done up with my finger nails matching... Seriously, I did. FYI, that was taken from Kid Sister's "Pro Nails" song. Good tune :) Thy, my new nail lady, is super friendly and did an AMAZING job. She did an awesome wax on my eyebrows and my feetsies felt brand new! I had enough time for a quick mani and even that came out fantastic. They offer Shellac, which I'll be doing once my mani wears off. I arrived Tuesday after 3pm, and was immediately whisked away. No wait! Woot! This little spot has great potential (great staff, quick service). I have to say this is my first time to ever complain about any nail salon. I am very flexible about my nails, and as long as they are sturdy and pretty =), i am happy. I was very excited to go to lifestyle nails and spa, bc my hubby had surprised me with a gift certificate to get acrylics and a deluxe pedicure.I have had acrylics ten years or more now, and my hubby knows that i enjoy having me time at the nail salon. Well when i first walked in,there where two other customers and me. I was treated very differently then those other customers, due to the way i look. I admit i do look different, i have tattoos and a few facial piercings, but yet i always look very feminine, but i moved to Austin bc i knew difference is accepted. Well due to the way i look, i suppose they thought i didn't make or have as much money as the other clientele ( which is not true what so ever), who were pampered and talked to and even brought tea or water, which they never did either for me.Which made me feel very uncomfortable about myself. After my nails were finished i got a pedicure which i admit felt amazing. Well when i was done i gave them the gift certificate and on top of that tipped as well. Well it has now been one week and ever single one of my nails are cracked, broken, and the paint is peeling, which i have never seen happen!! I called and talked to them about what happened and they were very rude and totally disregarded everything i said, which really hurt my feelings. Like i said i have had my nails done for ten years or more now, and this is the first time i have ever had my nails so carelessly done. and to top it off they are much more expensive then most nails salons, so i thought the quality would be much better, which i was VERY WRONG! I just thought before you spend the extra money maybe check out other places before you go here, bc in the end you will be very disappointed!!!!!! read more
