The manger reached out to explain. Yes there is a misunderstanding with the tech as she didn't not speak English. I spoke with 2 people before the manager. I showed her the fuzz on my finger nails, and still was trying to put the clear coat on. I said no, clean my nails off first. Not only did I get awful service, I didn't get oil on my cuticles and no lotion and hand massage, look at the pictures I posted. The pictures speak for themselves. I have white gel polish all over my skin. She used a nail file to file off the gel polish off my skin. Unacceptable! And as for the manager, your apology is unacceptable as well. I had come to this salon a few times but today was my last. I don't write negative reviews but after mentioning that the nail polish was pulling from the sides and that there were several bubbles the owner came over and roughly grabbed my hands and said he fixed it. He didn't and the poor girl helping me was left to try to fix it. I mentioned the issues again to the girl and she told me it was the polish brand and that she didn't like it. I asked why it was used if it was an inferior product. She just said her boss likes it. Bottom line was manicure was a disaster then the owner said it was my fault because I was picking at every little detail. Well yes, because there were several issues. Customers shouldn't be chastising for trying to fix issues on a service they paid for, and it is not my fault they chose to have inferior products. Though it is my fault that I was not a better informed customer and hadn't researched the products used at this salon. That is entirely on me. If you like a good manicure with attention to detail and a good quality nail polish I would definitely look elsewhere. read more

I tried out La Bella nails on my way home from an appointment on my day off. Not my normal place but I have a couple friends who go here religiously so I felt confident stopping by. My nail tech was sweet as pie & very friendly. She did great with her massage as well. The place is fancier than a few other nail spots I've been to, but I'm concerned for the cleanliness. Even though they used a liner during my pedicure I don't understand how I got a small infection on my toe directly after. I've been getting pedicures for ages & never had that happen to me. It makes me not want to go back just for that reason. On top of that happening the water for my pedicure started cold. I asked for her to make it hotter & she half way fixed the problem. Again disappointing. My gel manicure was gorgeous the day I left but it already has started chipping just a few days later. They have amazing color selection but I am so disappointed at other aspects of my experience.. & although she did a nice job aesthetically, my nails didn't last & it makes me regret going there to begin with. read more

Went to La Bella to get SNS. I've been there a few times and enjoyed the service. I arrived at 3:15 to write my name down on the list. Nobody asked me what I wanted - I just stood there awkwardly for 10 minutes. Someone walked in after me to get SNS and she was immediately seen. I thought this was very rude, yet I continued to wait another 10 minutes. The check in service is not so great compared to other places in the area. If they are busy, someone should at least tell you how long the wait will be. I will not be returning back to this location. read more

Tina is simply the best. I always get a gel manicure and pedicure, and Tina takes her time, is careful, and incredibly precise. Amy is great, too! I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews... This is the best nail salon in the Steiner Ranch (and surrounding) area. I've tried alllll of them, having lived in and near Steiner for three years. So a friend of mine gave me a gift certificate for my birthday to this place. I called and made an appointment, it was pretty easy they were very Nice also. I got there on time and Julie was there at the door and she assisted me with the nail color selections and then we got started. They did good work, that is why I gave them a 4, however even with an appointment I had to wait over 20 minutes. Being handed off to 3 different people to get my nails done is crazy.
