2 orders of Salmon Maki

You need to go at the perfect time before any other customers, or you're in for a wait! Since we have a big family who all love sushi, this is a nice budget friendly place for us. The combo meals range from $15-22, which is a great deal. You're surely going to get filled up! Just beware of the wait. It's a family business with just one cook in the back... and there are to-go orders too.

Fish Lover Favorite

Dare I say the best sushi around? Food: 5/5. We shared the fish lover favorite. I am not a huge fish lover, but this platter was delicious and the best fish and sushi in the area. Every bite was perfection and tasted very fresh. Service: 5/5. The host/waiter was very kind and attentive. We got our food in a timely manner. Atmosphere: 4/5. The location is interesting in between the Happy Teriyaki and Roost gift shop. It was hard to find and is lacking signage. The inside is very bare bones but clean. Definitely the place to go for delicious sushi!

This place is the best! We've done take out a few times now and always enjoy the food. Tonight we dined in, while the setting isn't anything more than a cafeteria style location. The service from the family and food is amazing, they even take care of our Celiac need in the family. They are starting to be our go to Sushi place in Eagle over the other locations. Plus really good pricing!

Salmon Lover and spicy tuna roll

Tried this place for the first time, got takeout when I was craving sushi and it was so gooood!! Such a great price for the quality too. It was so fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this place! I got a spicy tuna roll, salmon lover roll and miso soup!

Sushi rolls

Great little sushi spot in Eagle. Had sashimi and a few rolls. Everything came out great and the portion sizes were lateget than expected. Friendly service.

Dynamite Roll!

Wow... a secret small hole in the wall store next to happy teriyaki is probably the best sushi restaurant in Eagle right now. Fresh, clean and extremely cost effective. This place is delicious, and for now there are seats available until others find out!

We were not able to dine because the restaurant was closed, even though it's Yelp Page says it's open on Sunday's until 6pm.

We were not able to dine because the restaurant was closed, even though it's Yelp Page says it's open on Sunday's until 6pm. Ownership should update their hours on Yelp.

Spicy tiger tempura shrimp

Only down part is the bench tables they have. Super uncomfortable & there is no name outside the restaurant so a bit tricky to find. Now to the good part. We had a few items but the best one was the spicy tiger tempura shrimp. Sooooo yummy. Service was great. Ambience was super chill. Definitely coming back for more.

Love the sushi, poke bowl and chicken terriyaki bowl. We drive all the way from Kuna just to go here. So good.

I don't smoke, & sensitive to all types of smoke...so I'd thought I'd have issues here... but their state of the art air purification system really works! I came as I appreciate quality & creativity when a full bar is present, being the Foodie that I am! Every staff member (as well as patrons) I met were all genuinely friendly, & full of ideas of drinks to try. (& fun info on cigars avail too of course... sounds like they have a great selection on that front too of course!)... As I'm a very light drinker, I qonly got to enjoy one delish drink this time , but I got to try another drink the 1st time I came, & I had a sip of my friend's drink ... all 3 drinks were fantastic... in quality spirits, in presentation, in atmosphere the drinks were enjoyed in... I highly recommend this as another downtown Eagle destination, even if u don't smoke, or u smoke but don't want to drink...as the cozy yet ample enviro lends itself to both intimate as well as group gatherings. I appreciate that I can bring my own food in, & that there is both indoor as well as outdoor seating. I rate it as very accessible, as multi seat types, multi entrances, spacious interior & exterior. Honestly it was nice to not feel rushed... & it was fairly quiet yet lively while I was there both times... so u can actually hear who u are talking to, unlike many restaurants (& coffee shops). Shout out to the great new GM & both bartenders who were very patient with this self proclaimed high interest low liquor knowledge gal

Obviously you seat yourself. I was surprised to see it pretty empty for a Wednesday night, but it worked out to our favor since we had a large party of 20+ people. Happy hour prices and specials are not posted anywhere that I could find, but the bartenders happily listed them off (I can't recall them, but there's deals on beer, wine and well drinks only). I had a Blue moon on tap, with a glorious orange wedge. The beer was perfectly poured and had excellent flavor. I wasn't in the mood for the lounge fare, but luckily you can order from the full restaurant menu from the lounge. My friend and I opted to split the Signature Barrel burger.with cheddar cheese, bacon, brown mustard, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and a patty that is grilled to your liking (medium). We asked for a plate to split the burger ourselves, but the bartender was nice enough to put in the order as a split order without an additional charge. Our burger and fries were split and served on two different plates, which was greatly appreciated. The burger had a nice flavor though a tad under seasoned and a notch more than medium-didn't blow my socks off, but it's a solid burger. The fries were the star, as they were crunchy, yet pillowy soft inside, covered in a lovely batter. I wouldn't mind going again and trying out the restaurant side, it was a nice visit to the lounge. They only had one bartender for a large crowd and she hustled really hard to keep everyone happy...I just felt bad that she didn't have much help.

In a previous life the building that houses this state run liquor store (as all in Idaho are) was a…read morebank; hence the two drive trough aisle windows on the State Street side of the building. But Idaho does not provide drive through sales of hooch. So you know, unlike the guy in the red pick up truck with Texas plates who we saw today drive through up to the window thinking he could order to go. The store is well lit and well stocked with a very helpful woman working at the counter who asked us, as we checked out our order, if we needed vodka. Maybe because we had a bottle of bourbon, rye, gin and tequila as our purchase. Once every 12 or so months we find the bourbon and gin bottles at our house are empty and our last purchase of them was Thanksgiving 2023. Once every couple of years the same holds true for tequila and rye so in some years, like this one, all need replacing at one time. So it was intuitive for the nice woman to ask if we needed vodka but that is a spirit we use so often that I think I'd have to brush the dust off of the Grey Goose bottle in the liquor cabinet before I poured it. But I have read that vodka is the best selling kind of hooch in this part of Idaho and, boy howdy, it sure seemed so for the selection in this store. My husband said the vodka display looked like the cereal at Albertsons for the over abundance of options. We don't need a liquor store often but when we do we will come back to this location. On the topic of location, this is in the same strip mall complex that houses Winco and Home Depot. Woohoo PS: They have Licor 43 at this store so for we fans of that botanical liquor from Cartegna, Spain, to make Carajillo, the liquor and coffee Mexican after dinner drink, we no longer have to drive to the liquor store in Boise's North End to buy it. A couple of years ago when I bought a bottle, that North End store was the only one to carry it. Accessibility: One spot of accessible parking in front of bank and the only curb ramp is on the side of that.

Knowledgeable friendly and extremely helpful staff. Carry top shelf liquor, where I can always rely…read moreon them to have stock
