I couldn't stop thinking about the fresh rolls from this joint so I took my daughter here for an early dinner tonight. The last fresh rolls I got were hella good but the BBQ beef ones are calling to me so I had to come and get them. It was about 4:30 when we got here. It was an odd hour for lunch or dinner so it was pretty empty. Jr, who was the same person that helped me the other day greeted us and told us to pick out a table. We sat, breezed over the menu and got some goodies ordered. Unfortunately, the tofu, BBQ pork and BBQ beef fresh rolls will not be happening till maybe July. Such a bummer cause man they sound so good! Since they didn't have the rolls into wanted I had to go to plan B. So, I got the crab fresh rolls again and some inari. My daughter got the curry noodles and some tempura shrimp. My fresh rolls tasted the same as the other night. Loaded with crab, pickled carrots, cucumbers and romaine. They did add avocado this time which was nice. The order is inari was a lot! Usually it comes in pair of 2 but an order here is 4 pieces. The owner was nice and gave me an extra piece since it's packaged in an odd number. I did remove some of the sushi rice from the inari packet. It was a little too much rice for me. I did have a couple bites of the curry noodle dish. It was good but I felt like it was missing something. I don't know if it's extra curry or fish sauce but it was missing some umpfff to it. It was nice coming in for an early dinner tonight. I got to chill with my daughter and eat some good food. Jr was nice and did a great job taking care of us. Looking forward to the day when BBQ beef fresh rolls are finally being served! Until then, we well be trying other things off the menu.

Stopped in for lunch. Got the SEASIDE 2 lunch combo 8PCS TUNA ROLL , 5PCS SPICY RAINBOW ROLL and 5PCS DRAGON ROLL. Really a good value. Washed it down with a Singha. Photos tell the story. Do not miss this place.

Sooooo good! Fresh sushi, great service and wide open clean space. Love that they play country and Chicago. A must stop by. Next time they, their PHO.

Was disappointed by the quality of the fish in my poke bowl. The pieces were uneven there was a pungent scent. And where I could eat the tuna and avocado fine the salmon was not palatable.

Great sushi! The atmosphere is bare bones and lacking decor in my opinion. It's hard for me to describe our experience here. If you like sushi, try it out! If you're looking for a "vibe" try somewhere else.

Delicious food! We ordered take out and the food was packaged beautifully! Fresh ingredients displayed in clear bowls were artfully displayed. We'll be back!!

The food is amazing and tastes so fresh. Some of the best pot stickers I've ever had because it isn't super fried and the miso soup is chefs kiss. I definitely recommend coming here for a quick bite and some quality sushi. You won't be disappointed!

We had another amazing night at Nanzaya. We had a rainbow roll, a crunchy salmon roll, barbecue pork, spring rolls, and a curry bowl with eggs. Everything was very well prepared and beautifully served.

    Nanzaya! Yum!

This is the freshest fish I have EVER had in Idaho. Five stars! Good service too! Highly recommended!

I've been here for almost 2 years and the BEST Mexican food I have found was in Twin Falls. NO I do not want to go to Twin Falls to get Mexican food, especially w/ the price of gas now. I was searching online for a new restaurant to go to for lunch and for some reason "Garibaldis Garden City" popped up. First, Garibaldis, does not really sound like a Mexican restaurant, but after reading the reviews and checking out their website, I am thinking why not...can't be any worse than Andrades, Chapala or Barrigas. Went in around noon, not crowded, but again its gorgeous outside, and I like a relaxed atmosphere. We sat at the bar, our server (bartender) Michael (who is from San Diego) was great. We really didn't need any recommendations because I already had set in my head what I was going to order. We started out with the "salsa flight", 3 different salsas, 1 smokey hot sauce, 1 more chunky and a mango habanero" which all 3 were very good. I loved that there was actually some spice and heat in all 3. Okay, the Mango it grows on you, the more you eat it the better it gets. We also ordered a maggie on the rocks w/ Casa Amigos Reposado and a ranch water with the Blanco. I also ordered the Coctel Garibaldis, which is shrimp & octopus and the shrimp was nice and large and the octopus was a nice size, NEITHER was mushy, THEY BOTH tasted so fresh (enough to share). For our main, Chicken Fajitas and Carne Asada....I normally do not like the refried beans here in Boise at the Mexican restaurants we have tried, but these beans tasted like HOME, LIKE MY MOTHER IN LAW MADE THEM~! The chicken fajitas ...there was actually MORE CHICKEN than peppers which is a 1st...and it was huge slices and chunks. My Carne Asada, OMG, huge amount and it was so flavorful, I doubt I could have done any better. NOW, I am a tortilla snob and I make my own flour tortillas, but THEY HAD SERIOUSLY LITERALLY the best DAMN corn tortillas I have tasted in YEARS! They almost look like flour, but once you taste them, incredible. We (he) ordered the Coco Flan for dessert, I don't do dessert so I ordered the Casa Azul Anejo....met 2 women drinking Maggies, we agreed, if we are going to do calories, we are drinking them and not eating them...but in all, the SERVICE, Food, the atmosphere, was all worth it. Will we go again, YOU BET, I may even have to sneak over for a few lunches by myself it was that good. Again, thanks Michael, you were on Point!

The wine list is extensive, and the menu offers plenty of appealing options. We started with the oysters topped with raspberry mignonette, which ended up being my favorite part of the meal. The combination was fresh, unique, and incredibly well executed. For our entrees, we ordered the Mahi Mahi with lobster and the Orange Roughy. While my Mahi Mahi was slightly overcooked, the drawn butter from the lobster helped bring it back to life and added great flavor. I wasn't a fan of the pineapple accompaniment, which tasted canned rather than fresh, but the sauce served alongside the dish was excellent. The Orange Roughy was the standout entree and definitely the better choice between the two. It was flaky, buttery, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Overall, Coa Del Mar delivers a gorgeous setting, excellent cocktails, friendly service, and some truly memorable dishes. While not every element of the meal was perfect, the oysters and Orange Roughy alone would have me coming back.

Every time I've been, the restaurant is always clean and well maintained, the food has been excellent, and it's just been an easy, enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. I also love that they feature such a great selection of wild-caught Alaskan seafood. If you care about quality ingredients, it's refreshing to find a restaurant that puts such an emphasis on sourcing great fish. Between my family, we've sampled a good variety of the menu--the all-you-can-eat crab dinner, halibut, bacon-wrapped prawns, scallop appetizer, Dungeness crab dip, clam chowder, steamed clams, Caesar salad, desserts, and even the burger. Overall, everything has been consistently good, with several dishes I'd absolutely order again. The halibut was a standout for me, and my husband loved both the bacon-wrapped prawns and scallops. The steamed clams were also excellent, and the clam chowder is rich, thick, and creamy (which you'll probably love if that's your style). Even the burger was a hit, making Anthony's an easy choice whether everyone at the table wants seafood or not. The only two items that didn't quite hit the mark for me were the Caesar salad and the Dungeness crab dip. The Caesar dressing was a little heavier and creamier than I personally prefer, and I found myself wishing the crab dip had a bit more actual Dungeness crab. Neither would keep me from coming back--they just weren't my favorite dishes. Their happy hour is worth checking out, too. The menu is more extensive than I expected, and they also seem to regularly offer a prix fixe menu, which gives you even more options. And don't skip dessert--highly recommend the strawberry shortcake (when you can get it). The service has been friendly and welcoming every time we've visited. The staff isn't over-the-top--they're simply kind, attentive, and let the food shine. We celebrated my birthday there, and I was greeted with a handwritten birthday card waiting at our table. It was completely unexpected and such a thoughtful touch. Moments like that show they genuinely care about creating a great experience, not just serving a meal. Another thing worth mentioning: parking is easy, and they validate it, which makes dining downtown so much more convenient. Anthony's has become one of those restaurants we know we can count on. Great seafood, quality ingredients, friendly service, thoughtful hospitality, and a consistently enjoyable experience keep us coming back. If you're looking for a dependable seafood restaurant in Boise, this is one I'd happily recommend.

The restaurant was pretty empty, yet our party of six was seated right next to a banquet room hosting what can only be described as a full-blown work party. Between the noise and our waiter speaking loudly and very slowly (think Disneyland character energy), it was tough to tell if he was competing with the party or assuming we were hard of hearing (we are all in our early 50's). Either way, it made conversation... challenging. The food was good and the oysters were amazing, but discussing business over what felt like a live soundtrack wasn't ideal. The waiter even joked about closing the banquet room door because "those folks know how to party," then promptly did nothing about it. As the group finally wrapped up, one guy actually apologized for interrupting our dinner -- which kind of said it all. We'll definitely try a quieter spot next time we're entertaining clients.

Our server, MJ, did a really great job taking care of us. She was nice, friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our daughter had the Unicorn sushi roll with a side of edamame, my wife had a bowl of clam chowder and the shrimp scampi, and I had the fish and chips (cod; they also offer salmon and halibut, but the halibut, which I would have liked, was double the price at $38). For dessert, we shared the key lime pie. My wife said the clam chowder was OK, but more potatoes than clams. She did like her scampi. Our daughter liked the sushi roll. And, I liked the beer battered cod with the tartar sauce, and their fries were nicely seasoned and fairly crispy ( a little crispier would have been nice). The key lime pie had a rougher texture; I like it more creamy. Still good, though. I liked the exterior of the building. Red brick, arched windows that have a Mediterranean feel, and an exterior staircase that gives a bit of an industrial vibe. I thought it would be a little more upscale inside, but it is more basic wood tables and booths. There is a patio area, and it looks like there is an upstairs patio or dining area as well. All in all, a good first experience. We will definitely return.
