The service at this location is OUTSTANDING. Our server, Joe, was very accommodating and very friendly as patient even though some of our party arrived late. He made helpful suggestions and had a great attention to our orders and detail. The manager stopped by our table to make sure we were doing well and was friendly as well! The food was wonderful. I ordered 12 boneless wings, honey old bay and teriyaki flavors. Both of which were very flavorful and crispy. The sweet potatoes fries were delicious and the cheese fries were wonderful. The white sangria was amazing and our server suggested a drink that tasted like an orange creamsicle and we were not disappointed. Overall this experience was great. We have been coming to GD in Lorton for many years and i have to say it is the friendliest nicest group of people to see. The servers are friendly, always have a smile on their face when you walk in - accommodating to seating you where you request (especially in the bar area). The bartenders, Jacob, he is the bomb! Raphael, Shannon are AWESOME, FUN and do a great job of taking care of so many people at one time and remembering what you drink! :-) The servers, Miranda, Yasmine and Drew are the best---- our personal favorites...always smiling, welcoming and take great care of you. The hostess Tayshawn (i think his name) and all the greeters :-) Fun young group to welcome you. The food is delicious and we have made so many new friends..it is like CHEERS where everybody knows your name. We feel so welcome in that environment I could not forget to mention Gee, the manager and all the managers; it is obvious they care about their customers they all take great care of you and genuinely do care! A friend and I meet here for dinner on occasion. Parking is easy, service is overall decent (with the occasional slow server), and the food is consistently good as well. I've been here to drink at the bar before but I hadn't eaten there before. Last night the weather was super nice, not humid and they have an outdoor patio. So me and my mom decided to go have dinner here. We got a nice table outside and our waiter, I think his name was Cody or Corey was very friendly and knowledgeable. One thing I do have to point out is on the front page for this restaurant on Yelp, says that they offer a 39 ounce Margarita for $7 everyday 24/7. But when we asked about it we were told that they don't have a 39 ounce Margarita at that price. So it's no big deal they still had good deal on Margaritas for happy hour. I ordered a Turkey Burger with their seasoned fries and my mom had their Friday Fish Fry. She said it was very good fish. I was thoroughly impressed by the Turkey Burger. It was totally delicious and the fries were even worth writing home about. I will definitely be back to eat here, especially on Mondays when they have their burger night! read more

I've been here a couple times before but this is my first review of here. I will always get wings from here, but for today I got 6 hot wings and the new Smoky Memphis-Style Prime Cheeseburger. The wings are pretty good and the 'Hot' is the hottest sauce you can get. It has a kick to it after a while, it worked up a sweat. They are slightly crispy as well. The burger was pretty decent as well has a lot of taste. It has a sweet taste to it. On the other hand, the service was not good at all. I went there for the first time on what was probably the wrong day. The fire alarm went off and was beeping at a high pitch out of control for something like 20 minutes. I can't remember the exact amount of time but I had a headache the entire time that I was there as a result. I understand that things happen but I was surprised that they neither evacuated the building nor turned the alarm off. They also didn't tell people what was going on. The customers were just left there in a crowded restaurant wondering why the hell the fire alarm was going off and when it would stop. They did apologize afterwards but the more I think about it, the more I realize that they should have evacuated the building while that was happening. Every office building and school does, come on now. As to the food, it was alright. The service was on the slow side, we weren't sure if it was because of the alarm going off. I think that our food was a little bit lukewarm when it arrived. Another complaint that I have about the food was that it seemed a bit too sweet and also too salty, like not in a good way. Like the flavors were off. I thought that about the sauce on the Glory Wings. Also, I didn't really like the slaw on the Pittsburger that I ordered. I didn't like the way that the flavors melded. I did like the blueberry lemonade, though again it was kind of "syrupy", I did think that it tasted good. I would probably go again and try it on another day without the fire department drama to see if I feel differently. I am up for trying other things on the menu, however, I do think that there are better options out there. It seems a bit mediocre. It does seem like a popular place to take kids though. read more

Where to Start...My Favorite Manger saved my life. I rate your normal cheese burgers 1 thru 10. With the normal fixings; lettuce, tomato, onions, American cheese and a pickle on the side. I like mayonnaise and ketchup on my burger. No fancy sauces! The have the best tasting buns that will not come apart when you take your first bit. It stays together all the way to your last bit. My husband and I just moved to the area. We are a fan of sports bars so we decided to try this place out when we first moved here a month ago. We've been here a total of 5 times in the past month. What we've had to eat: Boneless hot wings, soft pretzels, a simple BLT burger, and grilled chicken caesar salad. The quality of the food is what we expected; It's not mind-blowing but it's far from being bad. They always seem to have a deal going on during the weekdays... taco Tuesday's is the only one I can remember at the moment. The Guinness is always poured perfectly and their mixed drinks taste pretty darn good. We usually go during happy hour, which is stellar. The biggest reason I gave this place 4 stars is because 3 out of the 5 times we have been there the service has been slow; we had to flag the server down if we needed anything because they don't check in. This wouldn't have bothered me as much if it had been busy, but every time we've gone it's been pretty slow. We've come here a few times for team lunches at work. They are fairly accommodating of large groups - just know that if you have more than 8 people you might not all get to exactly sit together. We've often had people at tables and other stuck in booths. The food is usually very tasty. I'm a big fan of their seasonal menu as you're almost always guaranteed at finding something new that is enticing to try. This location doesn't seem to be very well staffed at lunches. You might find yourself standing at the host station looking around for someone to help you - or at times actually having to go find one of the scant waitresses - but once you're seated you'll be well taken care of. Just be patient if you have several people at lunch as orders can take a bit to come out from the kitchen. read more

The food came out after a good 30 minutes went by and the sandwich was cold and the cheese had already hardened. Then, I had to order a simple grilled chicken salad to go (which the server forgot to ring in and I had to remind him to do so). That order took around another 30 minutes and the server wrung it in as a grilled chicken Caesar sub ranch and told me it would be the exact same thing. Lies!! A Caesar salad is chopped romaine with croutons and Parmesan cheese BUT the salad I ordered was supposed to be tossed greens with raw onions tomatoes careots croutons and shredded yellow/white cheese. The flavor of the flat bread, sauce, cheese, and tomatoes literally tasted like the cooks walked over to Shoppers next door, bought all the pieces to the dish, heated them up and then put it together. In more simple words it tasted store bought and not good. For what we ordered and how the food tasted I would say it is slightly over priced, our check was rather larger considering what we ordered...our 2 meals, appetizer, 1 water and 1 lemonade cost in the upper 30s. The service became very very slow. The servers forgetting your order. Just not enough attention to anything. I been giving the service so many tries and it's just not worth it anymore. After today was my grand finale. We had a party of 8. Four kids and four adults. First we ordered drinks and appetizers and the waitress was kind of trying to push my order for my kids on me first. Which I didn't even look at the menus so I told her to please bring our drinks and I will. So she came back I ordered the kids food. Then I told her when the appetizers come we will then order ours. To make it simple for her. The appetizers came they were excellent. Then we ordered our food. My kids got their food. Then everyone got their food except me. I just waited for a little thinking it should be there and told everyone to eat. Then 10 minutes goes by and I flag our waitress down and she tells me there was a mix up it will be out soon. I said ok great. Then 15 minutes goes by and almost everyone is done I go flag down a host and tell her where is the manager. During that time my food comes. I told her my whole table is done and ready to leave and I just got my food. She also told me there was no mixup the waitress told her that the kitchen just took longer. The Lorton Glory Days Grill is the first restaurant that we went to as a family when we moved to the area. My husband and I commented on how friendly and attentive everyone was from our server to the manager. Jose made us feel especially welcome. We noticed him moving about the dining room talking to patrons and making sure that all were happy. Moreover, he remembered us when we returned the next time and every time after that. The food has been consistently wonderful and the staff consistently welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is always relaxed and it is just a great place to go and wind down while having a great meal.
