Star Hill IPA with dinner.

Ate here with the family today. I went here a couple years ago and enjoyed the food. We went in ordered our food. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Parmesan Sub, and 12 Golden Shrimp. The food was delivered promptly and presented well. The mashed potatoes were instant and the Chicken Parmesan wasn't a typical breaded chicken as expected. It was chopped grilled chicken. Then the kids ordered Chocolate Mousse cake for dessert. Probably the best part of their dining experience. The servers turned over in the middle of our meal without a mention. The waitress that took over seemed less interested in her responsibilities than whatever else she was doing.

Came in for lunch today, was kinda lost just standing there so we just took a seat. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and a diet coke. The sandwich came out hot and crispy. They looked like chicken tenders put together on a bun. Lol. The fries were just fries, the soda was out of a fountain so it had that weird taste to it. Free refills though. The tables were sticky and looked grimy. That's the only thing I didn't like, the place was dimmed as well so it looked dark. I will be back for their BBQ pizza. I heard it was good. Price was kinda expensive though, I paid roughly around $15ish.

The Bug San Pizza was good. Lots of cheese. Wasn't bad.

ATMOSPHERE-When we sat down I had to brush crumbs off my food stained seat. It doesn't feel very clean here, sad to say. Even walking back to the bathroom you had to walk past the nasty food grimed cart that buses the tables. The bathroom was surprisingly nice though! And we loved all the Marine Corps memorabilia very motivating! FOOD- We had the "Big Sam Pizza" , Buffalo Wings wet, and Cobb Salad. *Sadly the wings were dry and not very appetizing. I would get the boneless instead. They were wingy. I would get the tenders next time to get my moneys worth. *The pizza also was not very appetizing. The sausage had a green color to it and turned my wife off. *We enjoyed the salad however. Very generous on the dressing and toppings. .

Food and service was good and with no issues. Make sure you take a look at your bill...I was overcharged for a drink, an erroneous pizza size, and was told that there's an 11% sales tax. My order Buffalo chicken pizza "10" but according to them they gave a medium so I paid for the "12" price of $12.70. ( It's not fault they made a mistake, they should addressed the mistake before I get charge). Sweet Tea according to the menu the price is $1.95 (no refills, just one drink) I was charge $4 something Three item appetizer combo $11.25 (correct price) And 11% sales tax when it should be 6%!

Everyone was so personable from the minute we walked into this elegant manor house. Cocktails and conversation were on point. The dinner service just flowed effortlessly like a well thought out symphony -- each dish took us to a higher level of culinary bliss as we were lulled by the expertly paired wines. Owner/Chef Dane stopped by our table at the end of meal and was so delightful to talk with. We had a terrible storm during the dinner service, apparently a tree went across the road nearby and knocked out their internet service preventing them from being able to check us out at the end of the evening. Their response -- don't worry about it all -- we will just give you a ring sometime tomorrow and take care of it; what more could you ask for -- just classy in every way!!!

I like that the bbq sauce was sparse so you can taste the pork. Most places drown the sandwich then it just taste like sweet sauce. Came with some cold slaw to balance out the flavor. Along thr lines of the chips, the fries were great as well. Friendly staff and quick service.

As a senior army officer, I value professionalism, discipline, and mutual respect--qualities I unfortunately found entirely lacking in the service provided by my waitress. During my visit, I was subjected to a series of unprofessional behaviors that were both disrespectful and disruptive to the dining environment: Aggressive Mannerisms: The waitress repeatedly slammed dishes and glassware down on my table with unnecessary force. Lack of Discretion: When presenting the check, she loudly yelled out the total amount of the bill in front of other patrons, which was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Disparate Treatment: I observed her treating other parties with a level of courtesy and attentiveness that was pointedly withheld from me. General Demeanor: Her overall attitude was dismissive and overtly rude throughout the meal. For identification purposes, the server was a female of minority descent, approximately 5 feet tall with a heavy-set build. I have long respected Tun Tavern for its historical significance and its ties to military tradition. However, the treatment I received was inconsistent with the standards of hospitality one would expect from your establishment. I believe it is important for management to be aware of this incident so that it can be addressed through proper training or disciplinary measures. I and my wife chosed to go eat at your establishment, especially with my family service to the United States Marine Corpss (three cousins; retired CSM, SSG (decesased) and enlisted (obligatged tour of duty). I even emailed to museum coordinator and the post. No reply. I seems those especially those people in the Tavern restaurant chose not to show customer service and the mannerisms are were poor among their staff especially the waitress along with the management ignoring the customers. And the Marines want one (Tun Tavern) again in Philadelphia.
