I don't usually get my nails done and when I do I know it usually takes a long time. The first thing I noticed was the desk they sat me at had an old Starbucks cup that remained until I left, I ended up moving so it didn't bother me once out of sight. I just personally like my space clean and that's kinda gross. My nails were finished pretty quickly after switching techs, I got the older lady and she's really efficient, If you see her ask for her! My sister got long coffin nails and hers took about 1.5 hours maybe longer, they started on me 45 minutes after I walked in and it was empty before we arrived, maybe one person waiting max. Considering we walked in at 11:15am and walked out after 2pm, maybe prepare to clear off a few hours for that mani/pedi. read more

I started going here with a friend and I've only been about four times. I don't know why I keep going back because my experience has always been a questionable one. However, on my last visit I decided that this place is not worth it. I went to get a pedicure and although I was seated immediately, they didn't start the process until 20 minutes later. I was with a friend and she was also seated at the same as I was. Finally, it's my turn and my friend is halfway done. The guy that was working on me rushed the entire pedicure. He only did one coat of the nail polish and I asked if he can do a second coat but he told to just get another nail polish. He ended up cutting me and left me hurting (I was in pain for about 3 days). I finished before my friend despite starting 20 minutes later. The pedicure itself costs $20 but with tip I ended up paying $25. It was not worth it. read more

My sister and I got refills (from the same tech.) at Globe Nails. One of my sister's nails broke the same day and one of mine broke the next day (for no reason...just broke off...I didn't bang it or anything) and my two thumb nails were each cracked on the sides and very weak. I went to both church on Sunday and work on Monday with a broken nail after paying $33. I went back on Monday to have them correct the broken and cracked nails. I drove 20 miles to seek repair and passed up many nail shops along the way. Since she was doing that (the repairs), I asked her to go ahead and cut them down and apply another coat of polish (which was needed after she cut them -- and failed to file them correctly so they are very thick on the ends). She then proceeded to tell me that I owed her $13 (a discount from the regular $16 price). I reminded her that I was just there on Saturday (today is Monday). The other tech chimes in that "it's not their fault because I got a refill" and they only guarantee "new sets" if a nail breaks the next day. The shop is nasty...roaches running around...dust and bugs so thick in the windows you need a scraper to remove....pathetic and you have the nerve to be greedy and not stand behind your work when I just paid you. This is unacceptable! This is not how you treat customers who came in and patronized your business. I believe in paying for what I get and don't try to get something for nothing but I honestly feel they should have honored their work (FOR FREE!). The lady went on to tell me my nails were "old"...that's why they broke. Are you freaking kidding me? You cannot keep customers coming back treating them this way. On top of it, they expect a tip and some even ask if you want to add a tip before they run your credit, yet they are not going to give you anything...not even a do over when their tech screws up....they make you pay for their mistakes. Needless to say, I will not be going back or referring anyone to this nasty, discusting, business where rude and incompetent people work. Look at the fine work done at this lovely establishment...I wish I could post pictures of my nails she supposedly fixed. What a joke....a big mess. I must pay someone else to take this thick junk off and fix. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! They don't do good work, they are greedy, and they don't honor their work....it's somehow your fault. Lady, I've been wearing nails for over 30 years...okay? I know how it goes. Run that excuse by on someone who started wearing nails yesterday. You just don't want to take responsibility! Well, you may have gottern those $13 but I'll bet you won't get any more dollars from me or anyone I know...and I know a whole lot of people. Dumb move! Dumb business decision. Dumb people! read more
