I've been with Globe pharmacy for 21 years very good at technicians. Every one is sweet and helpful especially Maria Bret. Now a few of these girls think they are a doctor or pharmacists and wont give me the pharmacist when there was a big mix up with medications. It was not my fault I was trying to figure things out. Very well stocked store, considering how small it is. Everything my husband needed after his knee replacement surgery was in stock. The staff is very helpful. In our era of pharmacy chains going out of business the one after another it's nice to find a family owned business that does their job right. I recently rented a mobility scooter from them for a vacation. It was so easy and convenient! The scooter was delivered directly to my hotel and was waiting for me when I arrived. It was fully charged and ready to use. It was very easy to use and we had no problems getting it in the car. I was given a number to call 24/7 for any concerns. Never had to use it. They picked it up at the hotel. I would definitely use them again! Great value and excellent customer service! read more

Globe Drug Store looks so nice since they renovated. I love that it's not only a pharmacy but they have a little bit of everything even though it's a small business.Those in itself a rare these days! They really work hard to keep my business and I appreciate that. They are one of the only stores that you can go to for compounding medications. Whenever my pet is sick and I need something special prescribed by my vet somehow they always are there for me. It's also wonderful that it's a one stop shop for my medical equipment needs as well. They have a DME right next door ;It's so convenient!! I moved out of the immediate area & now they deliver my medication! I love everything about small businesses. I love the community aspect and try to give them my business over a lot of the impersonal services at chain stores! read more

Best pharmacy in town. I ditched CVS for them. They are efficient, deliver to your house/workplace next day, and when needed find a way to talk with your insurance to get meds early for vacations etc. They also carry all the meds I need including compounded. I'd love if they had an electronic system that lets you know when to reorder, and also if they had a digital way of ordering. Something the owners should look into. Despite that, this is my fave pharmacy. read more

I recently purchased one box of 20 N95 face masks. They were charging $89.99 for 20 masks. I have underlying health conditions and need protection when I must go out. To take advantage of people during a global health pandemic is unconscionable. What a disgrace !! read more

Thanks a lot, staff at Globe! My cat has a heart problem and I was using an online pharmacy for her medication. THEY ALMOST KILLED HER! I took her to the doctor and it seems that was the only thing it could have been, something was wrong with her medication. I told him I would never use that place again and he suggested Globe. Well, they mixed and filled the prescription the same day as I was crying and it was an emergency, and my girl has been doing well ever since. They are so helpful. When I can't pick up they deliver. So, today I was sick and when the doctor asked where to send the prescription I said Globe. I was able to come home, make a little soup and get my medication delivered for no extra charge. After that trauma with Layla Cat, I am reluctant to use anyone else. read more

This place is the WORST pharmacy in all of NYC. Unfortunately, this is the pharmacy that my doctor uses for compound prescriptions, but from now on I am going to REFUSE to use them. EVERY SINGLE TIME I USE THEM THEY DELIVER TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. They also don't apologize for getting it wrong every single time. Now I've been waitig a week for my prescription because of their incompetence and their number has been busy for the past hour. Don't they have more than one line??? I have had nothing but negative experiences with this pharmacy. I need my pet's medication to be compounded and flavored so she'll take it. I spent $115 on her most recent refill and they flavored all three medications incorrectly. Now my cat wont take her medicine, and the pharmacist said he wont make new medications with the correct flavoring. He said it wasnt his fault or problem. He and his workers were exceptionally rude. I told them I wouldnt do business with them anymore and they said, "fine." They pride themselves on being "customer-service oriented compared to the big drug store chains." They have zero customer service here. Stay away. read more

This is an old store, and they don't spend money decorating or updating it in any way, but the staff are nice, and they do compounding (which most pharmacies don't do anymore). I get my cat's medicine there on a regular basis, and I've never had a problem. The prices are good, and they offer free delivery. read more

The staff is friendly. The store and its sister medical supply next door are dingy looking, but the prices are good. they also give free vitamins to parents for their kids on a monthly basis, without income restrictions or required purchases. Just for that alone, they get my vote and some of my business. read more

Doctor sent in a life-needed prescription on a Monday, I confirmed via phone on Monday afternoon. Promised me 2nd day shipping. It never arrived, called again, they promised me overnight shipping. It again never arrived, called again, they promised me that it went out and provided me with a tracking number, which showed it never left their store. Called again, said that's impossible, it went out. Called post office, they stated it never left their store. Called again and put on hold for twenty minutes. Called again and put on hold for 15 minutes. This must be a violation of some kind, as well as unethical and inhumane. I am dependent on that medication. Shame on Globe. Stay away from their unethical, uncaring, lying treatment of people. read more

I use this pharmacy for my cats because it does compounding. I have had delivery and other times picked it up. Prices are reasonable and the people are always nice. It's a small old style pharmacy but I just need the prescription made up-- I don't need to hang out there. read more

This place did seem kind of dirty and gross but it was friendly and "homey" - in other words, it was pretty much just what I expected from a non-chain Brooklyn drug store. My vet sent me here for specialized medicine and they got it just right and the stuff cured my sick cat, so... I have to recommend it pretty positively. read more

I give one star only because Yelp does not offer -5 stars. The main reason for -5 stars is the staff including pharmacists. They are all the same in that they are rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, disrespectful, nasty, and sound angry. When I asked any questions, the only answer I got was either 'I can't do that' or 'we can't do that'. As soon as I started asking questions, the girl immediately started talking, "I can't do that". The pharmacists never listened to my questions and started talking before I finished asking questions. They clearly displayed their anxious desire to get rid of me on the phone. Don't ever use their drug delivery service. It is by far the worst in the world. They never deliver on the promised date and time. You have to deal with the driver and the nasty angry pharmacy girls to arrange a delivery. This three way communication does not work and inconvenient. I will never go back to this drug store again and hope you will not as you will regret their nasty unprofessional attitudes towards customers. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! The pharmacy is filthy and has a rodent problem according to most of the employees there. The surgical supply store experiences the same issues as well. The items are usually already expired and there is dust everywhere! I always have allergy attacks when I walk in there. The staff is rude and inconsiderate and the prices are sky high! I brought in a prescription and waited three days to have it filled and it wasn't even a compound medication. A second time, they delivered my medication to the wrong address and then a third time they gave me someone else's medication. I understand that they offer free delivery and are one of the only local compounding pharmacies in bay ridge BUT it is not worth it! The pharmacists are lazy, rude and half-wits! The owner is even worse. He ignores his employees' lack to provide excellent customer care and cares more about the money than the patients. I strongly urge people to stay away and go somewhere cleaner and cheaper. There are at least 20 health violations in these stores, I'm surprised that these businesses are still open. read more
