This is a tricky one... There will be a line ALWAYS, unless you get there before the pharmacy opens or immediately after lunch. I do all of my refills online a few days or even a week in advance... My doctors have pre-ordered meds prior to any procedures... You can always go across the street lol Most of the staff are lovely And just so you know, I've had a few crash outs in there, but I have figured out how to get around the basic issues. There is always the free delivery option as well. The overall store sometimes pisses me off because they often don't have simple things that the chain carries, or it sells out super fast. read more

They never answer the phone, you can call everyday and its the same thing, soon as the phone rings it goes right to putting you on hold. Even when my doctors office called them they never got through either. Another thing is when I call to refill a prescription the medicine is always out of stock most of the time. I actually can't believe how this location is still in business. There is NEVER a time the line for the pharmacy does not have at least 8 people on it. I wait at least 30 mins EVERY TIME. And more often than not, they cant find my prescription or don't have it ready, meanwhile I always give them 2-3 days to have it ready. And then the counter lady has the nerve to tell me to "smile". Laughable how atrocious this place is. When I call them, they instantly hang up. After I call them back about 4 times they realize their little game isn't going to work. The thing is, they need about double the staffing they currently have. It's in a location where there's not a lot of other pharmacies around so locals flood here despite their capacity being inadequate to meet the demand. There's never not a line for at least 30 minutes. The employees are so rushed, yet will somehow let one clueless customer monopolize their time for 10+ minute plus, while they ignore the ever-growing line. Do yourself a favor! Stay away from here! William who runs the photo desk is the least helpful person I've ever come across. They did not have pens for me to fill out my form so he told me to go to the cashier and ask for a pen, when I did the pen had no ink in it, he then told me I would have to buy a pen, when I went and grabbed a pen and asked to purchase it with my photos he told me I would have to buy the pen separate in the cashier line that was almost to the back of the store. I know this to be false as I have made purchases at the photo counter before, it was clearly him not wanting to work. I realized I couldn't trust him with the transaction and decided to go to a different location. I understand not liking your job but there is no reason to take it out on me. read more

Never go to this pharmacist. They are not open when they say they will be open. And when they are open, the lines are absurd.

I want to start off by saying that this review is not the result of a one-off random interaction but rather a culmination of months of coming to this pharmacy to pick up my regular medication (I live very close by). First off, it is AMAZING to me how this pharmacy never opens on time, always closes early and switches or extends the employee lunch break without notice. So if you are trying to get in before the lines start to build up or after you think they will disperse, you are really rolling the dice on having to make another trip. Secondly, as just mentioned, the lines are ALWAYS long, as there is a bottleneck in the whole process that begins at the register. The front counter cannot handle any volume of people greater than 1 so if 2 or more people are there, you can rest assured to be looking at a wait time of no shorter than 30 minutes. Lastly, the service is just ATROCIOUS! The last and final interaction that I had today involved me going to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription two days ago after a notification email saying that they were all ready only to come to the front counter and to be told that only 1 of my prescriptions were ready with the other two needing 30-45 minutes to fill. I kindly notified them that I was on a tight schedule that day and would return in a couple of days. Sure enough, as I returned today to pick up the same prescription guess what? Only 1 of my prescriptions were ready with the other two needing 30-45 minutes to fill. Obviously extremely frustrated, I explained to them how they said the exact same thing two days ago and was met with a very non-empathetic "I have no control over that" response, a rude response which unfortunately is not the first that I have witnessed at this pharmacy. Btw, there were two other people standing by the side upset at an issue with their respective prescriptions. One of them lamented how "these people just don't care", a sentiment seemingly shared by more than 1 person in the line. So not only do I have to make multiple trips to get my prescription right, I have to wait in absurdly long lines and then have to deal with the employees' poor attitudes to boot (there are seemingly new employees there every month). This pharmacy is so bad sometimes I've thought to myself that I must be part of some kind of sick social experiment or some reality tv spoof show and that Dave Chappelle or Ashton Kutcher would pop out from behind the counter showing how badly I had been "punk'd". I'm all of a sudden conjuring up images of the Dave Chappelle skit mocking a certain quick copy chain where the tagline was, "Pop-Copy...cause we just don't give a ****!" This is a very challenging neighborhood. I walked in on a Saturday evening around 7:00. The stope was busy with shoppers and people asking for help left and right. This woman leaped from out of nowhere and literally was taking care of more than 10 people at the same time and doing it with ease, courtesy and respect and even making sure that we were fully satisfied with our service. Dude! This lady took care of a guy printing 98 photos, 4 people shipping packages (big boxes) a guy waiting for photos, a woman needing help with the photo system and ringing customers at the register all in the space of less than 10 minutes no exaggerating. It doesn't matter what time of day I come, or how soon I call ahead, or whether my prescription is ready or not... I always wait over 30 minutes in line at this pharmacy. They are extremely disorganized and can never find my prescription when I show up for something that was supposedly filled. Honestly one of the worst Walgreens that I've ever had the displeasure visiting. Don't bother calling them since they will just pick up the phone and hang up on you. I was on hold for 30+ minutes. I had to physically show up to the store to have my inquiry answered. They blame it on being shorted staffed which I understand, but holy crap is it impossible to get anything done at a reasonable time. Often times my PICK UP would take me at least 30 minutes. I ordered my prescription delivered, and elected not to pay the "same day" fee. It took 5 days to deliver.

First of all, the pharmacy is atrocious. There is always a line and they take forever between customers. They also take forever to fill a prescription so I have to call every time to have them do it. Ok I have to say that this Walgreens has always been good to me. Hardly wait in line , friendly staff and open later than anything else around. I live close by so come in at least a few times a week. They have grey weekly specials and when combined with coupons you can save some decent money on so many things. I wish it was open 24 hours , that would be amazing. The cashier then insist that I speak to manager, since the manager might be the only one that can give me a sure time that I can pick the pictures up. I get a call three days later to pick up the 4x6s and 5x7s but the 8 x10s can't be printed due to a problem with the printer. I just ignored them. I've always love this walgreens but honestly now I'm finding a big problem going back. The last 2 times I visited this store I was profiled. When I brought this up to the cashier the security guard who was following me snap at me and then said I'm not going anywhere I'm going to stand here and watch you. I've never written a yelp review before but felt I should express that even though the pharmacy is chaotic busy and stressful like most pharmacies, the people who work there are SO great! I've never seen people handle the stress of a long ass line like that with the kindness and grace that every person there did. There was lots of laughter (literally never seen that before) In particular VICTORIA is an angel!!! while I was trying to not have a panic attack, she was so calm and kind and helpful and I wanted to cry from gratitude when I left. Whatever you do, do NOT have a package delivered here, they are extraordinarily unorganized with deliveries and your package has a very high probability of being lost. Even with a tracking number that showed that my package was there no one could find it. Then a few days later when I finally got someone from the store to find it and set it aside for me, when I went in the next day to pick it up they couldn't find it and I got major attitude from the employees until they eventually found it "in the back room". I just switched to this pharmacy after a horrible experience with another big name near Myrtle-Wyckoff, and I am so glad I did. It gets super busy, but the folks who helped me were amazing. I had to come back for the rx because of insurance-related issues, but when I did, they had my medication ready in five minutes, AND got me a hefty discount using a coupon. When I had a minor freakout because I confused pill bottles, the pharmacist called me back directly to make sure I had what I needed AND told me to call back if I ever have questions about the medication or dosages or anything like that. I called in to fill an emergency asthma prescription for my son and the pharmacist was arguementive, condescending and rude right off the bat? I wasn't screaming or panicked, but I had to tell her repeatedly that the prescription did exist, and that it was filled at that store and she refused to take the Rx#. Then I had to tell her that I spoke with the doctor and that her attitude and unprofessionalism was unwarranted during a family emergency and as a person hired to deliver customer service. Turns out she did find the prescription and could offer no recommendations for the change in medication dosage. She finally issued a 'teeth clinched' apology because I demanded one. That's just sad.
