Every time we visit, we only have to walk in and we are immediately acknowledged and helped with our purchase (if we ask for help that is). We have saved tonnes of money buying foods that are comparable to veterinarian brands but are actually more healthy because they are grain free. Despite the store being small, the selection of dog and cat food is great. I only use pet shop....unless I am unable to.

The staff they have employed there (including the store owner/manager) are all SO NICE, polite, professional and helpful. They recommended I try "The Furminator" to help remove all that extra hair. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend $50 on a dog brush, but I took her advice and bought it. I went directly home after to try it out, and see if it really worked as good as she said it would. WOW! Was she ever right about it! I couldn't believe how amazing this thing actually was. How I ever survived without a brush like this, for as many years as I did just baffles me! His shedding went from a 10/10 (His fur being everywhere!) down to a 2/10 (Hardly sheds at all) If you live in Beaumont, Leduc or South Edmonton, you definitely have to drop by and see this store. I know you won't regret it!

My little guy also really likes the chicken jerky that we got a sample of last time that we were in the store after his nail cuts... I don't even know if he chewed it, it was more of an inhale lol. I believe they also do grooming in the back, but I haven't used them yet. Price and selection of foods seems to be better. This is another service I don't need as much, but it's nice to find the furchildren nice little goodies like Turducken wet food. What I appreciate them most about this place is the quality and price of their merchandise. I noticed the price of their cat trees have gone up, but they are still far superior to Pet Smart. Pet smart 'stack' their levels, where as the ones you buy here are 'staggered'. They sell buckle and better breakaway collars for less, with no stupid bells on them. Oh--and check out their awesome selection of all natural dog-treats!

Cashier calls a floor manager to check the shelf, who then checks with the store manager and apparently this was a Black Friday promo that had expired. Even with their mistake of the signage being left up they wouldn't honour the discount out of goodwill. Not even a few pieces. According to the floor manager they don't take part in the Code of Conduct, whatever that means. However if the company can afford to put it on sale for a price, they can afford to honour the sale when the employees haven't removed the signage a few days after the expiration. Incredibly disappointed with the service and likely won't be back.

So my suggestion is to only buy like 4 at a time instead of stocking up. I honestly think I will keep coming here for worms, but I'll stick to buying my rats elsewhere just for the price alone. You gotta come on Tues/Thurs to get the new worms! If you come on a Monday the selection isn't good and you might be buying 50 but then find that half are dead. So definitely try and come in for the fresh shipment. Sometimes I bring my babygirl Smaug (Bearded Dragon) here and the staff is so nice to here. They love seeing her and she likes to be out and about socializing with all the humans. I like that you can bring your animals here - even the reptiles. I highly recommend the CatIt line of toys she ball tracks - they build together and are always a winner with my kitty klan! They had a great selection of Oilers jerseys and bandanas for fury friends and collars and tags galore! There's a clearance section in the back left corner of the store just past the public washrooms. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program - first Tuesday of the month is 10% off regularly priced items. I get a large bag for $70.00+ but it lasts him 5 or 6 months so it works out to only $13.50 a month. You really can't beat that. Dexter's food is always down for him, I do not feed him on a schedule.
