Everything was super delicious. Some of the better thai food i've had in NYC. definitely on the pricier side with small portions but a nice treat.

Favorite dishes: -The citrus salad embodies the way Thai flavor components meld: sweet, umami, a little heat, salty. Most memorable appetizers -Pad Thai-I mean, everyone loves a Pad Thai so get over the guilt of being that person who orders a Pad Thai and just get it. -Duck curry: that curry was good and creamy over rice. Kept going back for it. -Their happy hour deal on wine and beer. The fish had a LOT of mango on top of it. I appreciate the drama. And I do wish there was less digging through the mango to get to the fish meat.

So far I've only been here for lunch and loved my meal. The prices were reasonable for the lunch special and it came with plenty of food. I absolutely loved my chicken pad Thai and Thai ice tea. My friend enjoyed the garlic chicken with rice as well. Lovely presentation and vibes. Service was great. I can't wait to try dinner here.

Overall a delicious Thai place good for date nights or small hangs. I've been here a couple times, for weekday dinner. Once for a table of 2 and once for a table of 5, and I've never had to wait for a table (though the whole party must be present to be seated). My favorites have been the duck curry and pad Thai. The fried branzino is also good and I really like the mangoes and sauce, it just wasn't as big as I was expecting. The tom yum hot pot had a good amount of seafood in it, and the crab fried rice is solid. The portions are decent, but both times I've wished there was more food. The main dishes come with rice though which is nice! They have a pretty good happy hour deal: $5 for beers, $7 for wine, and $11 for cocktail (limited options). There is one restroom. Service is great.

nice restaurant in the area with plenty of seating. squid appetizer was great but the curry puff was slightly disappointing (dry and didn't come with a sauce). pad Thai was delicious and the duck curry was extremely flavorful and tender. would come back

Booked a Saturday night reservation for 2 people. I don't recall if there were many open tables, but I booked the reservation about 4 hours before our eating time. We were seated at the back after waiting for a few seconds. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 The back of the restaurant has stronger ventilation, so wear a sweater if you are susceptible to lower temperatures. The bathroom is even colder, but relatively clean (barring the customer that left a mess of the toilet). The hand dryer was above the trash can, so make sure the hand dryer isn't being used while the trash is open. Service: 5/5 The service was immaculate. We were given an adequate time to select our drinks then food. Our water was poured and refilled regularly. The staff asked us about our food and status regularly. Our waitress kindly lent a hand when my friend and I were rearranging plates. Food: 3.5/5 Personally, I was slightly disappointed with our dishes. The Thai Ice Tea was pretty creamy. Our Chicken Satay was alright and the accompanied cucumber salad was refreshing, but the peanut butter sauce kept falling off. The Broccolini was a decent fiber dish, so I suggest ordering at least 2 plates for larger parties. My friend was satisfied with the Kra Pow Nuer because of its generous amount of meat and tasty onions. I got the monstrous Kee Mao Short Rib. The meat was lavishly tender, juicy, and fatty, but the star of the dish was the ramen noodles. I didn't taste any seasoning on the short rib itself, so it was essentially just a lot of meat on a stick. I'm the type of person who likes sauces with their steak, so it wasn't my ideal type of meat forward dish. The ramen noodles gave bites of sweetness and saltiness, and the snip of peppercorn was a pleasant palette cleanser. The Thai basil on both plates also added a great crunchy texture. Multiple staff members gave their thanks as we exited the restaurant. I would recommend this place to family and friends because of the lovely establishment and staff. and I would try different dishes for my future visit.

I've been to Glin Thai Bistro a few times and it never misses. First off, the ambience is beautiful and cozy. The only downside is some of the tables are quite close together. The service is fast and friendly, and I love how they have a happy hour. In terms of the food, I've gotten their duck curry, pad thai, and pad se-ew. I usually don't eat duck or thai curry but I absolutely loved the flavor. I wasn't even that hungry but I could not stop eating given how delicious everything was. It is probably one of the best Thai places I've been to and highly underrated at that.

I've always loved the full flavor, richness and beautiful presentation that Thai cuisine offers. Glin Thai is a great option - we had brought the family together for a celebration of completed projects- of course Thai tea is a hands down hit every time. Appetizers were the chicken wings with amazing pickled pears/ a perfect salty sweet crunch to cleanse the palate. And the dumplings- a joyful comfort. We enjoyed the duck curry, the pad Thai with prawns and the beef shank. Some of the dishes were a bit on the dry side- slightly overcooked- but we nevertheless enjoyed ourselves and our meal together. They have vegetarian options for those who are avoiding meat based dishes. Service was efficient.

The Glin had delicious food. I really enjoyed my mail. The food was fresh. My husband ordered a salmon and had a nice crisp layer on top but not burnt. They did that thing they know how to cook. I'm gonna say everybody must try the lemon drop passionfruit shot. It's amazing. The only doubtful is that they didn't don't have a bigger cup. I think that's why I gave them four stars cause he was looking at me crazy like a bigger cup no it only comes in shot size so I was like OK. Food is a little pricey, but it's worth it. The ambience of the places is beautiful is clean is very, very classy. The surface was nice. I just felt like there was a little language barrier. I could be wrong it could've been me, but I was asking for things in certain questions and I felt like she she didn't understand me so I just left it as that ordered my food and ate

Amazing food and service here. Big shoutout to our server Charlie! The chives cakes were so good we ordered two more orders to go.

This place is REALLY good, the food is really a tier above other Thai in Brooklyn. It is a strong 4 stars. We were there for the happy hour and got 2 margaritas each. They were very good but predominantly ice lol. And then we got the chive pancakes as an app, these were particularly fantastic. I got a vegan mushroom dish that when I ordered it was like "ahh am I gonna regret getting mushrooms for dinner." But NO! It was sooo good. It has a red white type sauce that really sews all the flavors together. My boyfriend got a red curry that he absolutely adored - perfectly spicy and creamy and flavorful. Overall, giving this 4 stars because even though the food was delightful, the experience felt incredibly rushed. It was a Saturday night so perhaps they needed to turn the table over, but we had 2 rounds of drinks, an appetizer, and entrees and were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes. The tables are also quite close together which I am of course used to in Brooklyn BUT these felt particularly close. All of this is to say, I would recommend it here and try it again.

I came here for dinner with friends and it was amazing. The place is pretty cozy with seats in the front and back but highly recommend making reservations to secure a table. We did family style dining and ordered a bunch of stuff to share. The mangosteen salad and pomelo salad were both excellent. The papaya salad was good but pretty standard so I would skip. I love they allow you to order adjusting to your spice level. Very helpful. The Broccolini Fai Daeng is also very delish with a good 'wok hey' flavor. The Fried whole de-boned branzino was really good and crispy and eaten with the dipping sauce, excellent! The crispy duck curry was FREAKING AMAZING! We didn't know what to expect but it blew us away. We cleared the plate and used the curry to eat with the rest of the rice. The crab meat fried rice was also good. Simple clean flavor with big chunks of real crab meat. Eat it with that green sauce! The Kee Mao Short Rib was good but not our fav. Mostly because compared to other dishes, it wasn't as flavorful. For dessert, we ordered all 3 available which was the mango sticky rice, the taro custard and the taro balls with coconut milk. I really liked all of them so you can't go wrong depending on what you're in the mood for. They do have happy hour but only for 4 drinks from 5-7pm.

Glin was rated as one of the highest rated Brooklyn restaurants a few years back and ever since then it has been on my radar! I've never made my way here because I thought it got very busy on Friday/Saturdays. Happened to be in the area early on a Sunday so popped in after a long day at the park nearby. They had a happy hour for some glasses of wine/aperol spritzes so had to indulge. With one other person we ordered the wings as an appetizer, crab fried rice, as well as the braised pork belly. Wings were very good-- if you like any sort of Thai chicken wing these will not disappoint. The crab fried rice was okay in my opinion. I think I was hoping for a bit of spice in it, but the crab chunks were large and it didn't taste like it had MSG which can be refreshing. The star of the meal was absolutely the pork belly dish. Loved the fried Thai basil on top. The meat was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. It paired great with white rice. Would come back just for this dish! Honestly would like to come back to explore more of the menu with a group so we can try a bunch of stuff. Oh, also great service here. They give great recommendations and also explain the various dishes if you want to know more about the food!

The inside is sleek, cozy, and medium lighting. Service (5/5): No issues with service since the restaurant was still fairly empty. Waitress was patient when we asked a slew of questions and her suggestions. Happy hour drinks were priced at $6 from 5:30p-7p with some tapas also at $5-7. Chicken dumpling (3/5) Red version: It was unique to find kernels of corn in the dumpling! I enjoyed the vinegar/soy sauce and chili oil. Next time, I would have liked to try the brown. Overall, there wasn't anything special about the steamed dumplings. Iron Men (3/5): I was disappointed since reviewers said that the broth would be very rich but it did not have much flavor to me even after using their house chili sauce (+$2). I definitely tasted the Iberian pork undertones but overall, I thought it was watery and didn't have much flavor without the chili. The poached egg was perfect. The rosemary oil was very subtle (cool presentation as it was provided in a dropper!) The noodles were perfect--chewy and bouncy. I thought the 2 slices of pork were thin but tender, also more lean and not fatty (not as ideal so did not melt in your mouth). Expensive for a bowl with little meat ($23). I did not use the miso paste as I did not love the aftertaste, which admittedly could be why the broth lacked flavor to me! Nagoya Miso Katsu-Don (N/A): I tried a little of the dish. I thought the pork was very crunchy and had a great taste. Boyfriend said the dish was nothing special.

From savory bites and traditional Thai dishes to tea service and desserts, there was plenty to explore throughout the visit. The afternoon tea service in particular offered a unique way to experience the menu beyond a traditional meal. My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Fish in the Boat One of the most memorable dishes from the visit. Fresh salmon paired with bright flavors and a subtle kick of spice. It almost gave salmon salad vibes while still feeling distinctly Thai. Egg Tart Soft, creamy, and incredibly smooth. The texture was outstanding and easily one of the strongest items from the afternoon tea selection. Crying Tiger Skewer Tender, juicy, flavorful, and everything you'd want from grilled beef. Simple execution done extremely well. Hot Chai Tea Excellent on its own, but the addition of cinnamon elevated it even further by adding warmth and complexity to every sip. Shrimp Bite Loved the texture here. Fresh shrimp with a bright lime flavor and none of the chewiness that can sometimes hold shrimp dishes back. Duck Salad Fresh, juicy, and tender with great balance throughout. Macaron with Grape The grape added a fruity sweetness that complemented the macaron nicely without overpowering it. Pork Pastry Flaky, savory, and satisfying. Dumpling Solid texture and flavor throughout. Curry Puff Enjoyable curry flavor but could have used a little more punch. Thai Wings Well executed with good flavor throughout. Rice Ball Sweet, sticky, and compact. A nice contrast to some of the savory items. Chicken & Shrimp Fried Dumplings Enjoyable but didn't stand out as much as some of the stronger offerings. The Experience: The afternoon tea service was a pleasant surprise and offered a creative way to sample multiple flavors in one sitting. Pairing that with the dinner menu gave a well-rounded look at what Cafe Chili has to offer. Best For: Afternoon tea, casual lunches, catching up with friends, introducing someone to Thai cuisine, or exploring a variety of flavors in one visit. In Conclusion: Cafe Chili shines when it leans into dishes that balance freshness, texture, and bold flavor. The Fish in the Boat, Egg Tart, Crying Tiger Skewer, and Duck Salad were the standouts for me, while the afternoon tea experience adds a unique element you don't often find at Thai restaurants. If you're looking for variety and a mix of savory and sweet offerings, Cafe Chili is worth a visit. Stamped by Elajas

I appreciate the growing recognition of Vietnamese cuisine and its elevation into the fine dining space. Unfortunately, this meal didn't quite hit the mark for me. Many of the flavor combinations felt disjointed and often clashed rather than complemented one another. Shrimp Mochi: It was good. Duck Egg Custard with Caviar: Delicious! It was creamy and well-balanced. Bread with Sea Urchin Butter: The butter was unique and tasted amazing. I could probably eat a whole stick of it. Foie Gras Katsu with Passion Fruit Candy: The foie gras itself was great, but the passion fruit candy felt awkward and out of place. NZ Hiramasa with Wood Ear Mushrooms: The wood ear mushrooms overpowered the fish, which was unfortunate because the hiramasa itself was quite good. I loved the lemongrass sauce. The lemongrass flavor was very subtle. Dry-Aged Moulard Duck with Black Rice and Makrut Leaf Curry: This was the standout dish of the night. The duck was deeply flavorful, and the curry paired beautifully with it. Tiger Prawn Phở: Very mushroom-forward in flavor. It was decent, but not particularly memorable. Secret Flavour Ice Cream: Fish sauce ice cream sounds unusual, but it was unique and surprisingly good.
