Anyway, got myself to the toilet plunger section and selected 2, as the toilet needing service had an odd opening. Asked the salesperson if the funky accordion plunger (the more expensive)could be returned if the tag was not removed or used. He told me that they do not take plungers as returns (honestly does make sense) but that as fancy as the accordion looks, it wasn't the best for a toilet, and the plastic it's made from is cheap. He also showed me a feature of the cheaper, normal looking plunger that I was unaware of, made specifically to help create a seal for toilet plunging. I ended up purchasing the normal plunger and rushed back to put it to use. SUCCESS!!!! Very happy for the salesperson saving me money.

I went the following day, the guys were friendly and efficient getting me exactly the joist connection I needed. This place isn't really a hardware store it's more of store that has specialty (at least to me) metal parts for construction.
