My contractor sent me here to select a paint color for my house. Juan was very unhelpful and annoyed from the moment I walked in. He was unwilling to offer any help or suggestions. I couldn't find a peel and stick sheet in the display for the colors I liked and he refused to look in the back to see if they had any. Was very pleased with Kyle Bowles service yesterday. It's a little crazy right now finding paint and usually go to Dunn Edwards but was very impressed when I thought I would try Sherwin-Williams out and I called on the phone and he saved me the last can of paint and I came right in. He helped me with the color helped me with all of my questions and had an overall great experience. This is an expensive paint store, but they are actually helpful. Plus they have nice color palettes including historic color palettes for bungalows. Plus they carry peel away paint stripper. The staff is helpful especially the manager. She helped me pick out stain and paint for a garage and saved me tons of time. If you open a "cash account" they will give you a 15% discount. read more

I can't believe no one has given a review in the past 4 years? This place is awesome! My wife and I recently bought our first home and we were totally overwhelmed with the process of repainting the entire house. We saw that SW had a 25% discount coupon from the paper so we made a trip to check it out. The staff were extremely helpful! We have a toddler and expecting another baby within a few months so having no VOC was extremely important to us. They explained to us the difference between their paints and even offered to come out to our new house for a free consultation to get an idea how much paint we need! We end up getting just the right amount and they were able to match to the exact color my wife wanted. We had to come back 2-3 times to get additional supplies and they even remember our names! All in all, great customer service, great price, great quality and you can't top that elsewhere. If you have a small project or an entire renovation, call these guys up. read more

I have received excellent service at this store, and I would not hesitate to buy paint supplies, such as brushes, rollers, and masking tape here. Unfortunately, this store has a fatal flaw when it comes to selling actual paint, and I will never buy paint here. I have recently purchased about 15 one-quart samples of paint, trying to come up with the right colors to paint a couple of different rooms in my house, but I couldn't get the color right. The actual paint always seems to end up being a different color than it appears on the little color chip that you get from the store. The guy behind the counter told me it was the lighting in my house, which seemed plausible. Well, after all these samples that I bought, at a cost of over a hundred dollars, it finally got through my pea-brain that it isn't the lighting at all, it's that their color mixer simply isn't accurate. As an example, one color that is supposed to be a khaki green (at least it looks that way on the sample chip) turned out to be chartreuse (a bright greenish yellow) on the wall of my house. Nothing like what it was supposed to look like. So - Unless you have bought a specific color here before, and had success with it, I recommend that you buy your paint elsewhere. I have had good luck at Home Depot and OSH. read more

This location almost always has the paint we are looking for, unlike some other branches where they were "out of paint" so even though it's a bit far, we drive here. It's also close to a target and a place that sells applewood for bbq's. they also have a decent selection for wall paper. read more

Sherwin Williams is good stuff, the architecture firm I work at spec's it or Dunn Edwards for all our projects. They're about the only paints I would use after seeing a variety of options in the field. Great stuff. This store is expensive, but they have just about everything you'll need for painting your place and they carry just about the best paint that's readily available. Staff are nice and pretty helpful. Pros: -Great product. -Helpful staff. Cons: -Maybe a bit more pricey than other options, but you get what you pay for. read more

Thanks to this store, my dining room looks amazing. I walked in last weekend to a very friendly and helpful staff. I'm a total novice, but they treated me just as professionally as they did the pro painters who stopped in. I appreciate that. I picked out a few samples, thinking I wanted to go super light for the room, but eventually settled on icecube white with a tricorn black accent wall. I was hesitant about the black paint given how bold it is , but the staff helped me choose the perfect base and finish and I couldn't be happier. My walls went from drab to stunning. The black paint looks amazingly smooth and rich during the day when the light from a nearby window casts light on that wall. At night, the black adds a warm, inviting depth to the room. It contrasts perfectly with the crisp white walls, and I've received nothing but raves from friends and family. I will be going here for all of my painting needs going forward. Today was my first and last visit to a Sherwin Williams store. Lets establish first this is a very small store, so making eye contact isn't difficult. There were two people at the counter and neither greeted me as I walked in nor did anyone come to see if I needed help (which clearly I did). So after my failed attempt at getting the guys attention as they were yucking it up in front I walked out. They didn't even try and stop me at the door. She is very helpful and she even remembered me upon my second visit. She also took the time to help me out with all my supplies to my car, you won't get that at big box stores either. This is one store that I often return to for my painting needs. Their prices are competitive. Their S-W Harmony "Green Sure" has an excellent overall quality. For one thing, it doesn't have a "paint' aroma, but something very fresh and pleasant to it. The staff is professional and will answer all of your questions about their grades of paint and their palette. I believe they were very respectful of my knowledge and experience. Went there to have a quick look at their wallpaper to re-do our new interior. I know we walked in 6mn before they close but I did not except the blond lady at the register so in a hurry of going back home !! So rude, when my husband said we will be quick and he wanted to know where it was located in the store, she kept telling us she needed to close in 4mn. The wallpaper area was full of people looking at it btw... ! I don't want to do business with people who do not want to work and make money! My husband and I have painted our entire home using the Sherwin Williams harmony line. We have been really pleased with the quality of the paint thus far. We've had multiple consultations with their color consultant at their West LA store to figure out the best combination to achieve the look we desired using zero VOCs. At the Pasadena store, when we went in to purchase one last can of paint to finish up our project, we declined to be upsold to their "system" of paints. We just wanted the can of paint we came in for. Anyway, after the sales rep accused us of knowing more than he did, I knew I wouldn't be back. Apparently at this location, the customer is always wrong if they demonstrate having basic knowledge of anything.
