No comment! I do not personally recommend this place. We ordered 1 beef shawarma, 1 pork shawarma, and two yogurt drinks. The total cost was $14 + $14 + $3 + $3 + 10.25% = $37.485, and of course, I left absolutely no tip since the menu is already overpriced. I am confident in my judgment as I eat shawarma every other day, and I am familiar with its price as well as its ingredients. Speaking of ingredients, I asked the person to make sure they added tahini, and he assured me, saying, 'Of course, we will, and I will add extra to yours.' However, there was none! I arrived at the place after a recommendation from a lady at living spaces while I was buying furniture. I am glad I came for a visit. Although it was late about 9:30PM the workers were energetic and were really welcoming. I had the pleasure to be assisted by Michael which also offered us a beef pita bread which was great. I got two shawarma chicken wraps which were seasoned and tasted fresh. Upon eating the whole thing I do recommend you get extra of the house sauces because they were really good. Although I had an initial concern with the chicken being dry I can assure you it was nice and perfectly cooked. In my stop at Glendale shawarma places, I tried their chicken shawarma and it was TERRIBLE. Chicken was very dry and the bread was stale. As someone who is Georgian, I also tried the khachapuri. MISTAKE. If my ancestors ate this khachpuri, they would chose death because this is shame on my country's name. Please don't serve it any more. Even paradise pastry make better khachapuri. Dough was very chewy and the cheese mixture was bland. In the front it is also a bunch of clueless workers here I have no clue what they do here. Gentlemen worker looked very frustrated with them. Not a good experience. Been here a couple times already, hoped the first time was a fluke, but it wasn't. The place is extremely compact and humid due to the overstaffing, they have a bunch of random girls working the front and standing around the store doing no work. One of the make workers seemed really annoyed by them and took over when I eas ordering because the girl was having a hard time working the register. They're pretty much there as a reason for the men that hang around all day. The shawarma was below average, chicken had no taste and was bland, and the bread was way too thick and dry. Same goes for the beef. The Khachapuri was extremely soft, and while I like how they rolled cheese in the crust, they overfilled it. It felt more like a some Turkish cheese borek than an Ajarski khachapuri. Flatbreads and Lamajoun are no match for Sasoun Bakery. The place itself, despite being open for only a week or two, is already poorly managed and compact/dirty. Also, ciggarette smokers stnding right outside the door from morning to midnight. Another note, yesterday I checked the yelp page for the first time, and there were a plethera of fake reviews within an hour span from accounts with 1 review.
