My doctor referred me and wants to make sure I don't have any of those side effects, so why would he feel the need to question my being there? My second visit was over in less than 5 minutes. He never checked my vision, no photos were taken and they did not even dilate my eyes. He again questioned my being there. I called to set up my annual appointment and was told that he had left the practice. I was honestly happy and thought I would be seeing a new ophthalmologist, someone who actually cared. Well, that didn't happen. Instead the receptionist told me I need to see their optometrist before I saw an ophthalmologist. I told her my referral was only for the ophthalmologist and that I already have my own optometrist who I had already seen for the year. She said this is how things are being done now and if I wanted to get an appointment that I needed to see their optometrist. I told her my insurance would not be covering that as I had already seen my optometrist and questioned whether they would cover the cost seeing as how they were the ones insisting I see their own doctors. I even suggested bringing in my records from my optometrist. The woman refused and once again told me this is how things are done now. I refused to make an appointment and received a new referral for a different doctor. There I was seen directly by their ophthalmologist and received much better care. If you care about your vision and patient care, do not go here.
