That changed after a recent visit where a substitute crew member (not my regular cleaner) was sent to my home without notice, even after I emailed that morning to confirm my usual crew. I let the crew know I'd be leaving during the cleaning and asked them to leave through the back door (which is deadbolt only and impossible to lock from outside). Note: I've done many times before without issue. Instead, they locked both the back door and the front door, including the knob on my keyless entry front door, which should never be locked. I came home to find myself completely locked out during triple-digit heat. I waited 45 minutes for a locksmith and paid $120 out of pocket, and my front door was scratched during entry. While I was home, an expensive bottle of facial product was also broken during the visit. After a few email exchanges with the company where they did not seem to care about the customer experience, I asked for the issue to be escalated to management. I received a reply though it's unclear whether it actually came from someone in a management role. The company denied any responsibility for the locksmith cost and the broken facial product. Overall, there was no real customer service effort to make things right. I wanted to leave an honest review because three years of loyalty should count for something when something goes wrong. Be cautious when considering this company. if you're not going to be home, confirm exactly who is coming, and don't assume your usual crew will show up. Take pictures of anything out of the ordinary or broken since the company will not take the customers word.

With that being said though, I would not recommend their services and I am extremely dissatisfied. We paid extra for a deep clean which was well over two hundred dollars for my 1,000 SF home. It was supposed to take multiple hours and it took them less than two. When arriving back home, the bare minimum had not even been touched. The fans and blinds had not been dusted. They vacuumed only what they could see, they wiped down only what they could see and went around lamps, candles, books, etc. The few things that they did move were not put back in the correct spot and left in random places. The cleaning products they used left residue on the few things they did touch. We specifically pointed out two vents that needed to be cleaned, didn't touch those. Kitchen sink hadn't been touched. When reaching out to get a refund, they offered us a refund of the difference between a basic clean and the deep clean that we upgraded to. A basic clean is still close to two hundred dollars and I would say a basic clean is far stretched for what actually was done. Our home looked exactly the same, if not worse from things being misplaced, from when the service started. I hope other people have had better experiences but unfortunately, I feel like I was scammed and the services provided were not what was advertised. Great people, maybe they just need to reevaluate their standards and maybe it was just the cleaners we got that day! Either way, clear expectations need to be set prior to their commitment!

One of the girls left my front door wide open for 3mins while taking the trash out (could see on the ring) and 1 of my 2 cats got out. When I brought this to Cynthia's attention her response was "mistakes happen and the door was only open for a second". It only takes a second! My pet was missing for almost 2 days! Definitely do not recommend this company AT ALL. Now looking at the reviews (definitely should have done prior to booking) I see many others had similar issues. I agreed to let Cynthia & Christian "the new owner" come correct things, & when I did, Cynthia sent me a message back saying that she will offer to come clean for 1hr. free next week. I'm like NO, this should've been cleaned right the first time. What was I being charged $400 for, I was so LOST. My house literally looked like it did before they came, it actually smelled like pee too & I have NO pets (their products are horrible & they stink). I asked the owner this question in my original email & all he did was tell me that what I was saying was WRONG & his team cleaned my home. Question: How would you feel if this was your home? & you came home to a "deep clean" that you purchased & it looked like the pictures? If you say you'd be happy, then I see why you're the owner of this company. Me, being a business owner myself, would try to ensure my customer is happy. If I wanted a half assed job done, I would've cleaned myself & not hired a "professional company". This is literally the WORST experience w/ a cleaning company. FYI- he Cynthia & Christian kept saying the cleaning was not timed, but when I booked a "deep clean" on their website, it said it'd take the team of 2 (to do everything on the check list) 6.5hrs. They were there for only 1.5 hrs. - a BIG 5 hours difference; which explains why my house looks so disgusting!! How misleading was this? I'm still shocked at how NOT clean my house was. I took the time out my day today to let you all know that Two Maids & a Mop is the WORST cleaning company even under "new management"!
