I am not a knit picky person so I tried to stick with this company even when little minor things would happen but the last visit was the last straw. I used this company monthly for approx 6mos. The appt time would be changed last min, clients do not have the ability to change the payment option in their acct, toilets were left unclean, rooms would be skipped, paid for extra services & they were charged but skipped but the final things that were the last straw: while cleaning the kitchen the girl left the gas eye open on the stove with the smell of gas so strong that I only noticed it bc I started to get a headache while working in another room. The girl was oblivious. That could have been dangerous on many levels!! The cleaning of my 3000 sq ft house was supposedly done by 2 people in 1hr 45mins? There is no way. When I brought this up to Cynthia her response was "it's my best team, they move fast"....That isn't something to brag about because they did a half as* job. There were 3 people sent for the majority of my previous visits and it even took 3 people longer than that. One of the girls left my front door wide open for 3mins while taking the trash out (could see on the ring) and 1 of my 2 cats got out. When I brought this to Cynthia's attention her response was "mistakes happen and the door was only open for a second". It only takes a second! My pet was missing for almost 2 days! Definitely do not recommend this company AT ALL. Now looking at the reviews (definitely should have done prior to booking) I see many others had similar issues. THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!! I advise you DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY; choose someone else! In my 30 years of life, this was by far the WORST "Deep Clean" I've ever received. When I say literally NOTHING was cleaned besides the floors & bathrooms (I'm being generous by saying that because these were just wiped, the tub was not scrubbed, the doors & baseboards were not clean, I could go on and on). I even took pictures of ALL the areas & sent them to the owner. You know what the response was?? He told me they don't clean these areas & they're our of reach (however, when Cynthia quoted me, she said they take their time and use a 2-step ladder to clean higher things & that they also had a pole to clean high ceilings that reached 12ft. - THIS WAS ALL A LIE & NONE of this was done in my home). I'm 5'7 & can reach all of the areas of my house & in the pictures w/ no step ladder. I agreed to let Cynthia & Christian "the new owner" come correct things, & when I did, Cynthia sent me a message back saying that she will offer to come clean for 1hr. free next week. I'm like NO, this should've been cleaned right the first time. What was I being charged $400 for, I was so LOST. My house literally looked like it did before they came, it actually smelled like pee too & I have NO pets (their products are horrible & they stink). I asked the owner this question in my original email & all he did was tell me that what I was saying was WRONG & his team cleaned my home. Question: How would you feel if this was your home? & you came home to a "deep clean" that you purchased & it looked like the pictures? If you say you'd be happy, then I see why you're the owner of this company. Me, being a business owner myself, would try to ensure my customer is happy. If I wanted a half assed job done, I would've cleaned myself & not hired a "professional company". This is literally the WORST experience w/ a cleaning company. FYI- he Cynthia & Christian kept saying the cleaning was not timed, but when I booked a "deep clean" on their website, it said it'd take the team of 2 (to do everything on the check list) 6.5hrs. ***LONG REVIEW*** $385 for a deep cleaning service "Our Deep Cleaning Package is the most thorough cleaning service. The most significant difference between the Deep Cleaning Package and our other cleaning packages is the amount of time and detail we spend cleaning what we refer to as your vertical surfaces. Vertical surfaces include baseboards, trim work, interior windows, blinds, exterior cabinets/drawers, light fixtures, and doors." quoted straight from their website. Contacted them via email and got a text back, then we talked over the phone to cover what was included and how it worked. I explained that this would be my first experience with a cleaning company before. We worked the details out and scheduled my first appointment; I did have to reschedule this appointment. After reading their 'Welcome' email that included 'what's included' and 'how to prepare for the cleaning', which to my surprise it basically says that they do not move anything when dusting. I asked my son to move items on his shelves and his nightstand specially so they could clean (This matters because it's one of the shelves in the photos). Appointment day - the 'team' that was coming to my apartment texted me to tell me they are running late - fine I'm at work no big deal. They text me back more than 2 hours later to tell me they just got to my place. Which would have been around 1pm. When I got home from work (5:30 pm) they were gone. I had left them a note that pre-thanked them for their work and I did not need them to worry about beds/sheet changing or washing dishes because that was listed on their site as part of the service. The ladies left a thank you note too. I quickly changed my attitude when I saw that no dusting was done - which is the bane to my existence, the ultimate reason why I wanted to use a cleaning service to begin with. I went into the bathrooms and neither mirror nor the floors around the toilets were even touched. At this point I was annoyed. My husband even more annoyed because I paid as much as I did for nothing to be done. I called Cynthia, which is who I made the appointment with, and got her voicemail. Left a message. Didn't get a call back. Then called again, left another message (as wells as send an email) to which she replied with a text. Saying that she did not get the first voicemail and that I only have 24 hours to contact them if there is an issue with the service. I told her about the issues and included pictures. She asked if she could send someone over to correct these issues. Sure, no problem! Fix it. The day the 'team' came over to re-clean, my husband was home, and he said they asked him what they were there for. Ummm... shouldn't they have been told what needs to be corrected before they come? They stayed for a couple of hours then left. Basically, just dusted the surfaces if there wasn't anything on it. I am more annoyed now. Now at this point I'm expecting the manager/owner/whatever to follow up because they basically had to do a re-clean on a new possible repeat client. And the re-clean wasn't even done completely -NOTHING- no follow up call/email nothing. I disputed the charge on my credit card - services not completed/rendered as requested. Mind you it took 2 months for them to get this notice. Cynthia texts me about it asking why I disputed the charge. I give her the info again and tell her that I didn't get the services requested. She says they can't refund a full clean because it was partially cleaned. We go back and forth until she says that I could get a partial credit she just has to talk to the 'boss/owner'. The next day she says that she can give me a credit for $100. So, $285 for services not rendered as described on their website nor did I want them to come back for another 're-clean' just to go through this whole thing all over again. I am beyond annoyed, I'm angry. I feel like they take advantage of the fine print rather than genuinely wanting to fix whatever issue there is. When the dispute was received, she wanted to do whatever it took to fix it, but where was that attitude when the first problem happened? After texting back and forth with Cynthia, I said that I felt that after reading her yelp reviews it seems that it was a common problem where the dusting isn't done completely or at all. I suggested following up with her team about it so that it's corrected for future clients. Her response "We do not advertise with Yelp so all our good reviews are at the bottom many pages over. We advertise with google and have great reviews". I think that because you're paying for a service you get to have your good reviews first, but the bad reviews still stand. Especially when you don't address the issues. LAST BUT NOT LEAST I'm sure that Christian R will respond saying these accusations are not true, but I assure you they are. If I could have given no stars I would have!! This "new ownership" response to all of the negative reviews is nonsense. We just hired them for a deep clean of a 4 bedroom/ 4 bathroom home. 2 women came at 11 yesterday - we left to run a couple errands - came back at 1230 and they were gone. We called to find out where they were - thinking maybe they forgot supplies or something- but they said they were done! They didn't dust, there were visible dust bunnies that they walked past to even leave the house. No baseboards washed- window sills not cleaned - I don't even see track marks on the carpet from the vacuum cleaner. We told them they needed to come back and finish- like their website guarantees - but they would not come back and demanded full payment of $400. Very argumentative and said they already contacted their attorney. Obviously all of their workers are accustomed to doing poor work as they have that attorney threat readily available. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!! New management doesn't care either. read more

Do not use this service. We paid 400 for a deep clean and there is still mold and soap scum in the shower. They barely cleaned it, must have just gave it a once over with a filthy rag by the looks of it. The bathroom floor was also unclean. Base boards still dusty. And get this, they broke the bathroom toilet handle and also took a dump in there as there was a smell left over. I could have done a better job myself and will never hire them again. I wish I had looked on yelp to see how bad the other reviews were. There is still dust on the tables as well. Terrible. What did they do for 4 hours??? _your response is a complete lie. I would not recommend and would not use them again. I hired them to do a "deep cleaning" and they did an awful job. I did a better job myself. They may be fine for a maintenance type cleaning, but do not hire for deep cleaning if you don't want to have to pay someone else to do it behind them! Edited to add: I did not take you up on your offer to fix it because we had a realtor coming to photograph the house that evening, hence the scheduled deep cleaning, so I just chalked it up to a lesson learned. And I didn't want further discounts because why would I give your company more money after they did such an awful job the first time? Cynthia was very helpful with planning our cleaning and answering my questions. The packages and flexibility allowed us to have a much more customized plan than anyone we had used before. If you want a thorough clean, this may NOT be the cleaning company for you. Simply put, Two Maids & A Mop Alpharetta, that services Fulton Co, Georgia, does not move items, does not guarantee their services, and lacks quality control. A premium, recurring clean was paid for, twice, as we wanted to give the company more than one chance to learn what is important to us. Per the company's website, a "premium" clean includes thorough dusting of furniture, light fixtures, exterior on appliances, vacuuming. Before the cleaners arrived, items were removed from the floor onto the bed and furniture was pulled away from the walls so the cleaners could get under and behind furniture more easily. The kitchen sink was emptied so cleaners didn't need to spend time washing any dishes or loading a dishwasher and could focus this time on other tasks. We truly wanted their time spent on cleaning, not on dishes or picking up items. Our biggest complaint is an overall lack of quality control when it came to dusting and vacuuming, which left the house feeling dirty. Items on surfaces were wiped around meaning dust was spread around vs removed, and dust was left on surfaces. The dining room chairs were not moved at all so the rug under the dining table could not have been vacuumed nor were the table/chairs dusted/vacuumed. The tv stand that sits under the TV had four items on it: cable box, phone, vase and sound bar. It was completely skipped both cleanings. Light fixtures appeared untouched, and were left covered in dust. Non heavy items such as a small wooden dining chair next to a wall was not moved and thus, that area of the floor wasn't vacuumed = dust bunnies. Dust bunnies were generally left under furniture, corners, edges throughout the house as the entire house is hardwood floors. During the first clean, the top of fridge was omitted bc items (paper towel roll, banana tree, basket of napkins, a bowl) were sitting on top, despite exterior of appliances included in the clean we paid for. During the second clean, I moved the items and asked for the top of fridge to be wiped during the final walkthrough after the cleaners had finished. So basically, it would have been skipped again had I not moved the items and asked. The new ownership (aka new management in other reviews) is not involved in the business per the operations employee and thus, would not discuss the issues. The company did offer $25 off the next cleaning with a different person cleaning but since they don't move items, and we gave the company two chances already, we were not willing to spend more money nor do we wish for these issues to be a constant battle on a bi-weekly basis. We will hire a different company who does move items when they dust, gets under furniture with their vacuum, and generally speaking, shares our philosophy on what it means to quality clean. read more

Please do not waste your time or money and believe your home will be cleaned by Two Maids & a Mop. We have given them several opportunities to show their best work, beginning with a deep clean then transitioning to a regular cleaning schedule. We have even coached their employees on areas for improvement. The deep clean was barely a regular clean from our previous service. Once we started the maintenance cleaning, they spent more time taking photos of our home, pets, kids, etc. and sending them back to the office than actually cleaning. We had someone cleaning our kitchen at 7:00 pm and the management complained that we were in their way while I was making dinner for the family. The management team is lacking any rigor or process around training their team. There is zero consistency in who comes to your home and the level of service you receive. They do not make beds, if you ask them to change sheets the team has no idea how to make a bed. I don't think it's asking too much to actually tuck in sheets or fully cover the mattress. And the basic housekeeping is like rolling the dice. No idea what you will get. It is so bad that today after they left I walked the house and other than wet floors from mopping you would have no idea the house was cleaned. We asked the girls on their schedule. They are expected to clean 3 homes per day... so think about the basic math.... that is 2~ hours rushed in each home + travel time to get their work completed in a day. We have had someone cleaning our home for 25 years, with 10+ years of service from 2 different vendors. We wanted to give a local business a chance, but charging top dollar for poor service in not acceptable. read more

We have had two previous cleaning services and this is the first one that CONSISTENTLY cleans my home to my standard! Given that I have 2 children under the age of 3, our floors are always covered with something sticky or dropped food and they get every crumb up, not to mention they do an excellent job on our bathrooms, to include removing fingerprints from all glass surfaces. My significant other and I left a move out cleaning list for the cleaners to follow, along with explicit instructions. Upon returning to our apartment, I could not tell if the cleaners had come. Unfortunately their contract states that you must make any complaints within 24 hours. To their defense, I failed to do that. That being said, I paid some 200$ to Two Maids and a Mop so I didn't have to clean my apartment. When the job turned out to be bigger than they expected they didn't try to reschedule or cancel they brought more people on board and were able to get it done in a timely manner. I requested a day online and entered required information about size of home and needs and was given a date and quote. Several days later someone called and said that time wasn't available and the quote would need to be changed. I have never used them before but this was a huge inconvenience for me because we are moving and needed the home cleaned in a certain time frame. The best I can say is that this place is okay at best. I signed up for cleanings when I was in recovery from surgery. They initially called and we scheduled my first cleaning, and the manager said I would get two cleanings with two maids for two hours. They called the morning of the first cleaning and said they couldn't send two maids that time, but reassured me that I would get two maids for longer the second time. I had a hard time nailing down a time for the second cleaning, but when I finally did I confirmed and said this is for two maids, right? The manager said yes, but then the next day she was emailing me like we never had the conversation. I ended up only getting one maid for the second time. The maids they sent were very courteous, but what has been said in the other reviews is absolutely true. They only do a very surface cleaning. They don't move stuff to vacuum. I didn't expect them to move my couch, but to me moving a dining room chair to get under the table is not unreasonable. They also never cleaned the fans. I would never hire this place as a permanent maid service. The only thing that I would possibly recommend them for is a move out apartment cleaning just because there would be nothing they would have to work around read more

I really wish I had never booked this company. I mistakenly read the Yelp reviews for the Suwanee location, and felt confident when I booked. Don't make the same mistake I did! The Alpharetta location is TERRIBLE. Quick highlights: - first cleaning, 85% of services described were not done. For example, our appliances hadn't been touched at all, nor had multiple bathrooms. - second cleaning (to rectify the first), Cynthia promised to do herself. Total bait and switch- she sent the same cleaners and insisted it was the only option. Conveniently, too late for me to book someone else. - second cleaning - 20% of services are still left undone. This is after I walked through the entire house with them and specifically pointed out areas still in need of cleaning. And they still didn't do them. - I called Cynthia to discuss and sent a follow up email. She refused to call me back, preferring to hide behind email. - I walked in to find one of the maids STANDING ON MY FURNITURE to clean something. Talk about inappropriate and unprofessional. And after all this, they still asked me to leave a review so they can get their bonus. Save yourself the trouble. Too many good services out there to bother with jokers like this. read more

I would give 0 stars if the option was there. Here are words of advice: "Run the other way!" This company is very misleading in the services that they provide. Not sure where to begin, but I will begin with I am a very neat and clean person. I don't have clutter around my home. I googled this company, had a nice conversation with Karen and everything was fine until they cleaned my home. I think I had more dust bunnies around the house after they left. This company cleans your home in 90 minutes; yes, 90 minutes, so not a full, deep clean. They won't vacuum a walk in closet with carpet, they don't wet mop your hardwoods, they don't move ottomans, runners, or anything else. They only clean "around" items in your home. However, this will never be communicated to you. Karen seems to be the owner of the franchise and she made me feel like everything that her cleaners "didn't do" was all my fault. God forbid someone to actually do an exceptional job for you; especially the first time. Since when is a customer wrong in business? No happy medium, she won't bend or break and just offered for the cleaners to return to "pick up where they left off." For $100 cleaning, I am sorry but I expect more. I have received more and a better cleaning in the past and am on a new path to find a new cleaner....not a worthless franchise. Really poor work. Hired them to clean my brand new home in the Johns Creek area. Shoddy overall work and completely skipped the fourth bathroom and the shower room in the master bathroom. Oh how I wish that I had read the previous reviews. They are all spot on. Each and everyone of them nailed it! Worst housekeeping ever!!! I hate that I had to even rate with a one star. My house requires very little cleaning. I had a housekeeper for years that cleaned every two weeks. Unfortunately, he has moved out of state. When the cleaner arrived she even stated how clean my house was and how easy it will be to do. I'll try and shorten this as much as possible but the list of what they didn't do or do right the first time is long. -Bathroom sink still had ring around drain- wiped right out with my finger so know they didn't touch it. -Toilet still had black ring on inside of rim -Shower head and shower left dirty -Bottom of shower door not cleaned -Dirt around shower faucet rim not cleaned -2nd bath toilet not cleaned. Black specs around rim -Bedroom closet floor never swept/mopped -Laundry room not touched -Laundry room trash can not emptied -Floors were hardly swept and spot mopped -Cabinets not spot cleaned. Wine spill still on kitchen cabinet -No trash liners put in waste baskets -Dust under coffee table. Table easily moves. It was not swept or mopped just spot cleaned around it -Kitchen faucet not cleaned -Asked for a dust pan. They did not have one -Appointment was at 1:00. They arrived at 3:00. The office did call to say they were running late and would arrive at 2:15 I couldn't believe when the housekeeper (Kayleigh) asked if everything looked ok and when I told her no and pointed out all of the issues she said "I didn't clean that, not sure what to tell you". She did go behind the other housekeeper and tried to fix what wasn't done but was getting irritated and frustrated because there were so many things to redo. She told me to call the office and take it up with her mom. Based on their Premium Package which cost $124.00 these items should have been done. They were here for one hour. Yep, you will be paying $124.00 an hour just for spot cleaning and they don't even do that well. I had to ask them to redo all of the above mentioned items and yet things still were not completed or an acceptable clean. These are just basic housekeeping items. I feel for anyone that request a deep clean!!! Not sure how that can even be completed when they can't get the basics done right. I contacted the office and spoke with Cynthia and informed her of my dissatisfaction and lack of confidence in her housekeepers. She asked that I email her items not done along with pictures. I sent her the information she requested. She only offered to send them back out to redo it AGAIN (3rd time) or that she would do it. I get missing a thing or two, we are all human but seriously.....this many issues on a basic housekeeping package and a home that was not that dirty to begin with is unacceptable. I asked Cynthia for some type of compensation due to all of the issues and poor quality of work and the inconvenience of them having to come back out (my work schedule, pet arrangements, etc...) she said discounts or refunds will not be given. I booked a customized cleaning for 3.5 hours. I wanted my wood floors done, 3.5 bathrooms, kitchen, living areas on main level, and upper level bedrooms cleaned. I felt the price was very reasonable for the time and square footage. However, the ONLY thing I was satisfied with was the way my wood floors looked, they were shiny and there was no cleaner residue. But the girls did zero dusting of any wood trim throughout my house, and baseboards were done poorly at best. No ceiling fans were cleaned. Window sills were not cleaned. One bathroom wasn't even touched. In the kitchen, no cabinet faces were cleaned, dishwasher face had same coffee spill streaks it did before they came and counters felt gritty. Unfortunately I wasn't home to check their work, my husband was. I called back a few days after the work was done and they sent back the same two girls to "re-clean" what I felt wasn't done properly. One of the girls had a terrible attitude and didn't speak at all when spoken to. The other was pleasant, but neither apologized for the shoddy work they had previously done. When they were finished the second time I went around and looked at the work and was not overwhelmed- It was just barely satisfactory. For having to be called back for a second time, I thought they would go out of their way to make sure I was happy but that wasn't the case. I also expected a manager to call me as a follow up, but that didn't happen either. I will NOT be calling them again, and wouldn't recommend this service. read more
