Excellent donuts!! The glazed are your pretty standard, nice and fluffy, donut. But the strawberry shortcake and the creme brûlée are amazing. The strawberries were so fresh! And the creme brûlée really taste like creme brûlée! So good! read more

Was up early waiting to see if I was getting called into work. Yay!!! No call in for me so what does one do at 7 am on a Saturday? She searches for fancy donuts on Yelp! Came across Glaze'n'Daze with 92 reviews and 4.5 stars. I get in my car and head off for donuts!!!! It was pretty easy to find in a very unassuming neighborhood and unassuming store front. I was greeted right away. Picked out 7 donuts and a fancy one. All packaged up nice nice. They must change the donuts choices because some of the donuts in the pictures were not avail today which, of course, means I need to start making more frequent trips here. I just happened to have cash on me but you can pay with cards as well. The nice gentleman that helped me also packed up some donut holes. Somehow there were only 3 of those left by the time I got home. Their glaze is delicious. It has a marshmellowy (is that a word? If not, it is now) taste to it that blows any other glazed donut out of the water. Get your butts down to this place but make sure you leave me one or two. read more

Glaze'n Daze Donuts - Holy delicious!! It's worth the drive. The bacon on the Maple Bacon donut is crunchy. - Donuts Near Me - Johnston, Rhode Island

I've tasted many donuts in my life and this is worth the stop. I had the Creme Brulee donut and it was freaking good! I think the filling was real egg custard in it. The hard glaze actually had a nice crunch as it would a real brulee. The donut dough was so delicate that I would actually consider this a pastry. It was perfectly done. Glaze 'n Daze is very different from the other gourmet donut shop. The price point is hits it right and the donut sizes are perfect with just enough sugar and spice. I personally like a lighter style donut compared to the heavy giant cakey overly sugarly ones. It's so light, I think I could eat a dozen but I know better and that's why I keep coming. Stop and check it! You won't be disappointed. read more

The donuts look pretty and cool but what I got was very dry and difficult to swallow. Somehow, the donut I had thought would be the most difficult to eat (cinnamon toast crunch) was the best and easiest to down. And that one donut was somehow among the top donuts I've ever had. I'm not sure if the others just didn't do well that day or what had happened. The icing is great but I think the donuts themselves should be a bit more moist. The second issue I had was with service. There was a younger kid working in there who seemed deeply unenthused to be working there. Albeit, it was an hour before closing. read more

Wow!!! Creme brulee donuts are to die for. This shop is so creative with their flavors and everything looked delicious. I arrived at about 10am aand the place was empty. I was surprised as their reviews are so good and they live up to them. I guess I got lucky. The store is adorable, cozy and warm and the man who waited on me was so nice . I also tried the lemon filled. It was very lemony which was great for me but too much for my friend. Oh well . The coffee roll and the apple fritters are good but nothing that I would rave about. Kind of small and not as tasty as the others. I did not try drinks but I did not see decaf. Hopefully I just missed it. So great service in a lovely environment with several choices of donuts. Definitely will be returning for the lemon filled and the creme brulee. They were amazing. Oh and they did not have any cake donuts which are my favorite. Forgot to ask whether they made them at all. Guess I will go back and ask! read more

YUMMY! Tried this doughnut shop for the first time today and was not disappointed. The doughnuts were fresh! After numerous trips, and a reply stating it was due to a "soft opening", no longer. 10 for 5 donuts ( one being a specialty). One PVDonut is heavier than 5 of their donuts. Too many try's, and I have had way too many too count. They are delicious, but so not worth it. Their staff are very pleasant, so it is a shame. I rather go out of my way, and wait in PVD's long line. read more

We stopped here as a part of the RI food fight competition and boy were we glad we did! This unassuming little shop happens to carry some of the best doughnuts we've had, was super friendly and the staff even offered to make some fresh doughnuts for the flavors that were low! The service was also quick, in addition to being friendly which is always a treat. The doughnuts here are soft, delicious and tasted fresh even when we came by mid morning! The toppings are creative and some of the combinations are almost too good to be true. Overall we loved this place and it's a great special occasions kind of place, or if you're looking to have something really delicious! We unfortunately didn't end up trying the coffee but we certainly do recommend getting some doughnuts, especially if you're already in the area! read more

I've been here a few times to try some coffee and some donuts, I always get a small hot regular and I've tried their classic donut and fruity pebbles donut. The donuts were outstanding, very fluffy and the classic one is particularly light which is cool cuz I don't like cakey donuts personally. Today I am here to say I'm MAD about the coffee I got here, not the classic donut which was actually very good. This lady poured my coffee and microwaved it, I stood there in disbelief. I feel like I'm drinking coffee brewed at the bottom of my toaster with all the burnt crumbs I've piled up over the years. Who the hell has cold or room temp coffee sitting out THEN MICROWAVES IT FOR A SOMEONE. Place is cool, they're always very nice, donuts are excellent but IM MAD about this coffee. This is what I get for trusting a donut shop with my coffee needs read more

I highly recommend these donuts! They are delicious and very inexpensive. I've been looking for a donut shop that doesn't cost me more than $4-6 for one donut. The donuts were still so soft when we are them. I'll make an update to see how they are the next day. Definitely try the place out and support the local business read more

These are by far the lightest and best tasting donuts ever!!! The owner is very friendly and always gives me extra donut holes when I buy a dozen donuts. Small business that puts love into every donut they create. You will not be disappointed! read more

Good donuts. Good coffee. Friendly service. Nice interior. Affordable. Tired of going into donut shops and they are like 3-4 bucks a donut. I will definitely go back. Had the bacon maple, butter crunch, and glazed. Fresh and tasty. read more

One of the best donut shops in the area, hands down! The traditional, leavened donut is probably the best I've had in a long while. It's not only fluffy, but it LASTS. Most other places produce donuts that petrify by the next day. I had one of these the next day, not having been wrapped, and it was still fluffy! I'm impressed, for sure. I also love the fact that you can get classic donuts for a reasonable price OR you can go nuts and get the fancier, gourmet ones for a slightly higher cost. Sometimes you just want a darn chocolate glazed without taking out a personal loan, ya know? Kudos! read more

This place beats every other doughnut shop in the area, by a wide margin. The doughnuts are incredibly light and soft, unlike the heavy chewy doughnuts at PVD and Knead, with very well-balanced flavors and sweetness unlike Allie's and Krispy Kreme that are too heavy-handed with the sweetness, and not at all greasy like every other doughnut shop. Better than the place I went to as a child that I thought I'd never find an equal to. I don't know how they do it, it's about as close to perfection as I think you can get. If I had to give a con, the only thing I can say is that I find the boston cream filling a bit thick, but it's still good. Aside from the amazing doughnuts the owners are also exceptionally nice and kind. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. I'd go here every day if I could, no joke. read more

I'm not a big donut fan but had to check this place out after a friend raved about it. She drives 7 miles each way for the Peanut butter & Jelly donut! Since I live around the corner, it was easy to stop and bring a dozen to work for an office meeting. The polite young man behind the counter chose a selection of gourmet as well as a few of their best selling regular donuts. I had to cut them into fourths so people wouldn't fight over them! A little pricey but worth it. Feed your inner hippy. read more

Pretty bummed. I frequent the trendy donut shops in pvd. I was glad to find a shop closer to home... but after this experience, I need to say, you can't just throw cereal on a donut and expect to be the next donut place selling out every day. The places that are selling out, sell out for a reason. I tried two donuts, the creme brulee donut and the classic glazed. None of them blew my socks off, in fact, I didn't even finish the creme brulee donut. They replicate the hard, caramelized shell on top of the donut and it was just too much. I tried to make friendly conversation with the employee working, he really didn't care for it. So whatever. I won't be back, and I won't be surprised if this place isn't here forever either. In the mean time, try Knead Donuts. They are great and worth the trek into Providence. read more

Literal BEST glazed donuts around. And the PB & Jelly....just do it. Totally worth stopping in!

The only bad thing I can say is that sometimes I don't get there early enough and they sell out, because that's how great their donuts are! The donuts are always soft and fresh - my personal favorites are the Boston Cream, the Whipped Cream with Strawberries, and the plain (tastes just like a doughboy). It's also run by the kindest people. I can't say enough good things about them. They're apologetic if they sell out of something you want and they'll try to approximate the donut you're looking for as best they can. They are NOT obliged to do that, nor do they owe an apology. But that's just how kind they are. There's a reason why their loyal customer base will always support them 100%. read more

The glazed donut is easily the softest donut I've ever had. Almost too soft. So soft that it melts almost as soon as you bite it and that bite is over before you know it. These delicious base donuts get topped with lots of fun options for a better experience than most places that offer "gramable" donuts. These donuts do end up being a little bit smaller than the average donut size but do cost as much as some of the fancier donut shops. read more

These donuts are so fluffy and fresh, they must be made with clouds! I ordered a cappuccino and a maple bacon donut. Close to home and what hubbs and I pack up the baby for to get some Saturday morning breakfast fix when I'm too lazy to make us breakfast (hey, mama needs a break too!). They are a small family owned (I think) doughnut shop. They sell regular and filled doughnuts, as well as coffees and also have a cooler of flavored milks and juices. The little Asian lady was so friendly and cute. She's adorable. The son (I think) was nice too and rang us out. I love supporting small businesses. They will definitely succeed since their doughnuts are so freshly made and the dough is perfectly made. Better than Dunkin for sure. read more

This place is close to my house. Always the most accommodating and friendly staff. I would've given it 5 stars but they always seem to run out of donuts which can be disappointing. Amazing donuts, no line. Munchkin are so light and fluffy. Great thing to being to a party instead of the usual box of pastry.

We had the glazed, jelly, maple frosted, and chocolate frosted. All of the doughnuts were light and fluffy. The glazed and jelly were our favorites--they were perfect. As a donut snob, I heard this place was good and decided to give it a try. Disappointed by overly old oily taste in both a regular donut and fritter I tried. The girl working there said the apple fritters were very popular there. It was overly sweet and nothing to write about about. I tried asking about peanut oil as a member of our family has a peanut allergy and she didn't seem to even understand what I was asking let alone answer the question. Are they better than you previously frozen Dunkin, yes but don't expect spectacular read more

Good, old fashioned donuts. The apple fritter was amazing and I will definitely be back.

Delicious donut that is the perfect mix between a krispy cream style donut and the doughnuts at pvd donuts and the like. It's light enough but doesn't taste cheap like a Dunkin' Donuts. The only issue I have is with the location, I wish it was closer to the city. Other than that, delicious donuts. I will definitely be back read more

absolutely adored this place. very kind employees & explained what they had in back. all of the donuts were incredibly fresh & so yummy. we got a half dozen gourmet & they added a handful of glazed munchkins. we got the fruity pebble, maple bacon (good bacon), stranger things, m&m, butter cake crunch, peanut butter & jelly, and the cinnamon toast crunch. I found this place using Yelp on a last minute road trip to NYC. Typically I would stop at Knead in Providence but strangely enough none of the well known doughnut shops in Providence were open at 7 am on a Sunday. Glaze'n Daze Donuts was a great find. They have a large assortment of donuts, croissants, cinnamon buns are also available as well as various flavored coffee. The donuts are made onsite and fresh and yummy. The cinnamon role was light and sweet, the Good time donut was chocolatey with a little crunch and light at the same time. We got a few others that we haven't yet tried Maple Bacon and Strawberry Cheesecake. There were a few others that we may have tried however they were still being prepared and we were unable to wait around so I would suggest going a little later to have s bigger variety to chose from. The location it's self is very clean, has a parking lot and there is very limited seating. read more
