Being greeted by a smile in the morning is always a plus. We ordered the glazed donuts which had an airy texture inside and on the outside was a not too sweet glaze that was delicious and will be remembered. Cool place with seating inside and next time, I'll try the coffee.
Stopped in for some Coffee and donuts at the recommendation of a staff member we met working elsewhere and this place is great. The team was friendly and engaging. Lots of unique offerings of donuts and other pastry style breakfast items. A huge variety of coffee, tea, latte and more to choose from. Has a nice wide open setup so you can see the donuts being made, as well as a Coffee roasting area. The owner or manager came by and dropped us off a special new item they were offering to have us and others try as well for feedback. All around great spot.
BEST DONUTS IVR EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!! I'm Not even exaggerating. You can tell they truly care about the business. Every time my bf and I walked by around 1am you would see them pre-making everything for that morning. The service is great, there's beverages available for purchase, seating, air conditioning, and a lot of amazing donut flavors. Super casual spot. Next time I will definitely be going back again!!! Yes. Yes. Yes. I would come back to Key West just for these donuts. Donuts are my favorite sweet treat and I've had them all over the country. I would legit rank these as my favorite donuts tied with Voodoo Donuts. The chocolate frosted was the best chocolate frosted donut I've ever had. My girlfriend liked it so much that she ordered it each time we went. The key lime pie donut was phenomenal as well. You may see different donuts depending on what they have. There's rotating flavors so you may see something that only shows up once! The service was friendly and prompt. On our last day the lady at the counter put our donuts in a box so we could get them through the airport no problem. The ambiance is homey feeling. It's small and quaint and gives it charm. When we walked back to our hotel after clubbing all night, we actually saw a gentleman in the store at 2 and 3 am making the batter and filling for the donuts. So you know they're fresh. They're only open from 7 am - 12pm so get there early!
Quick, friendly service in nice space with a fun variety of donuts. We tried the lemon poppyseed cake, chocolate cake, glazed hazelnut, and sour cream cake donut. Normally I love a cake donut but out of all of the ones we tried, I liked the yeast style hazelnut the best. The cake donuts had good flavors but the cake was very dry. I liked the crunch on the exterior that held up even under the glaze though. I will probably go back tmrw and try some additional flavors but I'll get more glazed/yeast style vs cake. Stay tuned......
Cute little shop. They do sell out fast so go early! The cake style donuts were a little dry but the others we tried were very good! The latte was amazing!!
Glazed Donuts is a locals favorite. We got some takeout donuts on our second day of our trip to Key West and really enjoyed them. The coffee was also great. I got a double espresso and really enjoyed it. Strong but not harsh on my stomach. The staff was friendly and attentive and the ambiance was very trendy and quaint. Highly recommend it.
My husband, my brother-in-law, and myself went to check out Glazed Donuts while visiting Key West. We all shared the following kinds of donuts: Coffee Cake Donut, Orange Creamsicle Donut, and Key Lime Pie Donut. All were delicious! My husband also ordered a cappuccino and liked it. The lady helping us was very nice. I also liked the laid back atmosphere inside. A fun time with tasty treats!
The staff is welcoming and so helpful with explaining all the wonderful donut choices. Cafe super fun & clean. A must stop if you're in the mood for a special treat
Best glazed donut I've ever had. Decent variety of different donuts but the regular glazed is a must have!! Other favorite is the Key Lime donut. It even has meringue on it that's then seared. Such a treat ! Coffee drinks are hot and fresh. Great staff and ambiance.
Incredible donut and thus far best on the island! Im a simple gal and glazed does just the trick for me! Additional greats were the chocolate glazed and chocolate lovers! They also had a perfect selection to choose from to suit everyone's needs.. I don't recommend the green jasmine tea it almost had a perfume taste but the donuts masked my disappointment needles to say! It was a perfect spot to enjoy right after watching the sunrise!
I abstained from having Key Lime Pie anywhere during my visit but upon coming to Glazed Donuts, I knew it was the one I had to try and I think I'm good to only ever have KLP in donut form. While I didn't get to try their wide variety of offerings, the KLP donut was a hit. The portion is just right and is extremely fluffy and flavorful. The balance between the citrus filling, crumbles, and toasted marshmallow is soo good. The space is also pretty classic with that old timey feel where you'd expect an older gentleman with his coffee reading the paper to be somewhere in sight. As for the service, it's so friendly and patient. This was a great find and I'd without a doubt return to try other flavors.

We've been coming here for years, but now live right down the street. Glazed always has fresh, delicious donuts. We prefer to support these small, local businesses over the big names, but Glazed truly deserves it! read more
Key West lacks a donut scene. This is your only option for donuts. They obviously make them in house which is awesome but sometimes they can be a little overdone and have a bad oil taste. It's not a typical donut shop with sprinkles and frosting filled donuts. They are more upscale. They are very expensive. A plain glazed donut is $2.50. I was charged $18 for six donuts including tax. Only one donut was "special" because it had jam on top but the rest were plain. Donut holes are $3.50 a dozen. I have tried most of the donuts but I stick with the plain glazed because it seems to be the best when it comes to texture, taste, and softness. I will admit they do have some donuts that are seasonal that are great in flavor like their gingerbread and eggnog one at Christmas and they had a pumpkin one in the fall that was tasty. It's not my favorite donut shop on Earth but it does qualify as a favorite on the island. read more
Family owned and operated. I could tell because the cashier had her baby strapped to her! So cute. They were making donuts when I arrived. Yum! Flavors are crazy unique. And they have each donut on display so you know what you're getting into. Of course I ordered the bourbon maple bacon. I was surprised by two things 1- the price. Only $2.75?!?!? This donut would easily be $5 in Orlando. 2 - how LIGHT the donut was! I didn't feel gross after eating the entire donut. In fact, I kinda wanted another. The store has a few bar stools and some table seating. There is a shared bathroom. The decor is neat. Coffee related stuff all over the walls. I loved how they have a roaster right there! If I hadn't just walked over with my Cuban coffee, I would've tried theirs. I hear they opened the store with donuts and after a couple years and much research, got their coffee. So it's clearly founded in love! I grabbed one of each donut as well as some donut holes to go. I shared them with a bunch of other girls. No one had any complaints! Parking is on the street. These are FANCY donuts! Fresh, good quality, not overly sweet. Very pretty and unique. The atmosphere of the actual restaurant is a little lacking - could use some more decor and comfy seating. Donuts are a little pricey, but like I said they are pretty gourmet and you can tell that someone put a lot of effort into making/decorating each one. read more

What stood up about this place was the great staff. We initially walked here because of the doughnuts but were delightfully surprised about the amazing quality of the coffee which was excellent. If you want a nice place that offers both, Cuban coffee and doughnuts this is it. At the time of our visit, seating was restricted but we didn't mind taking a breakfast stroll while admiring the uniqueness of the neighborhood. read more
Apparently our traditional biking around town with frequent stops for drinks and snacks paid off. We stopped in one day, NOT at GLAZED DONUT, but instead at THE PORCH (classic beer parlor a block away from Glazed Donut's stop)... Turns out Landon (of The Porch) created "Monday Breakfast with Landon" where you get a free Donut with your beer (and of course the donuts are from Glazed Donut). We ended up trying an APPLE ALMOND FRITTER and a CHOCOLATE LOVERS and paired them perfectly with a couple drinks. FIRST TIME THOUGHTS Absolutely delicious but (and I hate to say but) we had been riding around for a long time, we were hot, a bit sweaty and in need of drinks (and the donuts were a pleasant surprise).... so at this point almost anything would've been good... not trying to knock the donuts but when the conditions are rough, everything will be good and refreshing. SECOND TIME AROUND We're back ! ! ! Well, actually we're back at The Porch... back for another "Monday Breakfast with Landon" at The Porch. What can I say, I'm a bigger fan of beer than donuts. This time we had a STICKY KNOT (possibly a Bear Claw) and another CHOCOLATE LOVERS... and again they were delicious. THE SHOP: A-L-M-O-S-T It wasn't until a month later that GLAZED DONUT crossed out path again.... this time we were catching the movie "CHEF" at TROPIC CINEMA and as we left the theatre we peeked into Glazed Donut's windows (being that they are next door neighbors)... The interior was adorable and very keys-like (wainscoting, vibrant blue walls with whites, outdoor patio furniture used inside, interesting wall art)... and I love that the donut preparation is out in the open so you can watch the magic happen. Even the outside, storefront window is open to the donut prep areas... unfortunately they were closed at this late hour but the seed had been planted... THE SHOP: FINALLY ! ! ! Keep in mind, we are not big sweets eaters; but when the carrot is dangled in front of your face, you find yourself craving... and that craving built up and first thing the next morning we drove into town with plans to buy ONE DONUT EACH to have with coffee for breakfast. We finally made it to the source where out beer pairings have been coming from. We immediately told the guy behind the counter that it was our first visit and how excited we were after having them twice a The Porch. I was expecting an upbeat salesman... after all, these are unhealthy sweets that are "treats"... not a necessity so why not be overly friendly and sell us on this goodness. It was like talking to a monotone bank teller... and I wanted someone on a sugar high to make us feel good. According to their website, everything is made fresh on-site; not just the dough... EVERYTHING jellies, fillings, frosting; even the sprinkles are made on premises. THAT'S WHAT SHOULD'VE BEEN SHARED WITH ME when I arrived when I mentioned it was my first time there. Make recommendations; show me you want regulars and fans. On the counter they have these 50's style glass cake covers to display the donut flavors of the day (very creative way to present the options to guests and makes for great pictures too). And that display brings us to our second problem... those donuts looked too good... so yeah, we ended up with WAY MORE than we planned... we actually ended up buying A DOZEN. GREAT OR OVER-RATED ? So, we took our box of donuts and headed back home... we weren't in the house for more than a couple minutes before we made a bee-line to pig-out on some donuts. NO, we did not eat 12 donut in 1 seating... but we did take bites out of most of them... Mostly because I think donuts only taste good when they are fresh and soon after they begin to harden and loose taste.... and trying to nuke a donut the next day is futile and darn silly. Overall, the donuts we tried were VERY GOOD... but here's the list of results: * Apple Almond Fritter * had it at The Porch and still remains my favorite * Chocolate Lovers * chocolate overload but if you're a choco-holic then you'll love it * Key Lime Pie * I do love a good key lime pie but this needs some tweaking * Blueberry Bullseye * BULLSEYE... loved this one * Maple Bourbon with Candied Bacon * * since everyone is baking something maple bacon today, I expected this one to challenge the best of them but unfortunately it was not even in the game * Raspberry Mascarpone * looks better than it is but still good * Lemon Poppy Cake * icing was on point but the "cake" part was too dry * Glazed * it's their namesake so it better be good.... and yes, it was very good MY FINAL THOUGHTS I'll be back... especially since The Porch recently ended "Monday Breakfast with Landon" read more
Wow! The in-house roasted espresso here, branded as Red Buoy, is incredibly rich and almost chocolatey flavored. It takes a proper expertly poured double espresso to a level of pure Guatemalan deliciousness rarely experienced in coffee shops in America. This is what espresso should be. Not that burned corporate crap served in a chain that shall remain nameless. Add in the fact that they have a dozen fresh uniquely flavored donuts and life is definitely good. The peach glazed was wonderful and light and the Café con leche donut was truly decadent. Yes, we actually tried them all and shared them with our family in the spirit of thorough research. Glazed Donuts is the southernmost donut shop in The Continental United States and located right off Duval Street. Everything here is 100% authentic made from scratch goodness. The stars of this show are the bakers: Megan Pidgeon - a 2007 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America's Baking and Pastry Program and Jonathan Pidgeon - a 2007 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America's culinary arts program. Dunkin Doughnuts this place is NOT......and that is a fantastic thing. I had the bacon maple glazed doughnut and I modified it by adding a single glazed doughnut hole on top (I will call this the Bill S special). Southernmost donut shop :) glad its glazed donuts, because you're able to get gourmet donuts at reasonable price. the size of the donut is pretty generous as well. I got the key lime done (when in key west of course), and the filling of sweet and tart inside the donut was perfect. it was then combined with a meringue top, which was a perfect combo with the tartness of the keylime filling. the filling.. overly generous. i was practically liking filling off at the end ;) wonder why they open only til 3pm? read more
Wow...sensational donuts...the best we have ever experienced! We (family of five, with three young kids) visited Key West over Winter Break and were looking for a quick, simple breakfast. Read great reviews of Glazed Donuts on Yelp and thought we would give it a try. We were all extremely glad we did! Every donut we tried was awesome...and we tried many! Our favorites included: Apple Almond Fritter, Sticky Knot, Glazed and Cinnamon Sugar. And their donut holes are awesome too! The owners are friendly and helpful and the store is cute...atmosphere is bright. A great place for a quick breakfast and relaxing morning coffee and OUTSTANDING DONUTS! We are from LA and while we love Stans, Krispy Kream and Dunkin...this place wins. Best donuts we have ever had! read more
Ok yeah, it's a great day for a donut or 7. Good luck trying to decide. We got some donut holes ($1.50) and two others (brown sugar and almond apple fritter). I ordered a large americano too. The donuts were pillow soft. We got there at a good time as there was a line when we left. It was open for carry out during covid. You know...coffee and donuts are much safer than beers in those virus riddled bars that they closed down for the 4th of July weekend. read more

As far as catchy trendy donuts go this place gets an A. Where it drops is the quality. Most of the donuts are dry and rely far too heavily on their trendy or exotic ingredients to sell you on them. Last visit I had a Key Lime Pie donut. It was dry and not very heavily lime infused. The topping (marshmallow that had been bruleed and topped with brahman cracker) tasted old and as dry as the donut itself. This time I had the Blood Orange Jelly. The donut itself was dry. The blood orange favoring was there but again, not prevalent. It was almost like a donut as a cup. The contents and donut didn't eat easily as a bit. It's more like a danish where there is a dough perimeter with contents on the interior. I don't think I will be going back again. My family seemed to echo the sentiment that most of the donuts were dry. The fritter we chose was enjoyed by everyone. It was large enough for each of us to have a taste! For the price I don't think this is worth the trip. read more

AMAZING selection of donuts and the perfect stop after a night out in Key West. Our personal favorites were the S'mores, Key Lime Pie, Apple Almond Fritter & Chocolate Lovers. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, I will definitely be going back next time I am in the area! read more
Average is what comes to mind when I think about Glazed Donuts. Maybe I came at the wrong time of day, but our donuts did not taste fresh. I've been here multiple times and felt this way each time. I'm not a coffee drinker, but they have expanded and added a coffee shop to their presentation. We had the Blood Orange and cinnamon sugar. The blood orange had a glob in the middle and as my daughter bit into it she said, "I don't taste any blood orange." The donut itself is a plain donut. The cinnamon sugar donut tasted fine, nothing extraordinary. The service is always good here. The line can get long, so consider this your warning. It's kind of the only show in town. Right after we ordered, the line got pretty lengthy and went out the door. Maybe everyone heard my daughter and I were there so they rushed to the scene! I wish their selection would change a bit more than a 1 or 2 donut seasonal rotation. If we're in the mood for donuts, we will come back. We just won't go out of our way. read more

We tried a raspberry-filled, the maple bacon, and the key lime pie. The donuts were average. Of the three, we liked the key lime pie the best. I thought the maple bacon needed more maple flavor. We decided to eat there and found it strange that there's no plate, tray, basket, or anything available. Each donut was simply placed on a piece of wax paper that we then had to carry over to a table (which by the way all the tables were dirty with crumbs). The employee working was very standoffish. I'm glad we gave it a try, but I have no desire to go back. read more

Absolutely fantastic . Reasonably priced for Gourmet donuts . Social distancing only one party in the store at a time . Go early because I went at 10:30 and waited almost 30 minutes . 100% worth the wait ! Literally the best donuts I have ever had. So fresh and light crispy dough with amazing topping and filling . Would wait an hour for these . Hidden gem for sure ! read more
A friend recommended that we try Glazed on our visit to key west. It did not disappoint. We arrived mid afternoon and the place was pretty empty. I had the Meyer Lemon Pistachio and my friend had the key lime pie donut. Was able to sit and enjoy them inside. Both were excellent. Also had an iced latte to go with my donut. Everyone and their mom says best "X" ever, so cliche. I like donuts don't love them. I speak out donut places all over to experience them and never think wow that was delicious. This blueberry pie donut was a fried croissant with great blueberry stuff, would not call it jelly or jam or preserves but more like blueberry pie filling but homemade not from a can,with mascarpone on top. Eat this and plan to have a lite dinner. The lemon poppyseed wheel was also very, very good. Dip that in some of the blueberry stuff that oozes out of the blueberry pie donut and you will not regret it. read more

I will never forget this little spot. Some days I wake up in the morning and crave their maple bourbon donut. Our hotel was right around the corner of this shop, and we were looking for a quick and cheap breakfast before heading to the beach. They have soooo many donut options, along with some great coffee. I had a maple bourbon and cinnamon sugar donut, which were delectable and super soft and fresh. Their coffee was great as well, we all ordered the iced coffee for the hot day. The place is pretty tiny, but even during the busy time of summer we were one of about three families there. The employees were quick and knowledgeable when recommending flavors! read more

Stopped in this awesome donut shop twice while visiting Key West! They have a lot of unique flavors - I had the mango Brûlée and Guava Jelly. My husband tried the Key Lime Pie and loved it. They are also home to Red Buoy Coffee and we enjoyed our iced latte. If you love donuts this is a must do while visiting the Keys! read more
You know it's good when you come here almost every morning to grab coffee and donuts while on vacation. I happen to come across this little gem a few years ago when I was craving a good coffee and luckily it was right around the corner from where I was staying. I was SO happy to have found this place. The service is great, the coffee is always freshly brewed, and the donuts are handmade on a daily. I know so, because every time I walk in, there was someone in the back rolling out the dough...let alone the smell of the goodies baking. Everything there is made from scratch. These are hands down some darn good donuts. I always buy a dozen and I have my top three favorites. In MY opinion...these are MUST tries...Apple Fritter, Lemon Poppy, Bourbon Maple Bacon and of course the Key Lime...ok...I lied...FOUR favorites. They have donuts that you can't find anywhere else that taste this good. I wish we had one in TAMPA! Even though they open at 0700, I usually walk over between 0800-0830 to grab my coffee and select my donuts and bring them back to the room. I wake up early on purpose so I can enjoy my coffee and eat MY donut in peace without anyone else fighting over which one they want. Yes people, come support this local gem and trust me...you will talk about this place when someone asks you where they can get coffee and donuts. A-MAZING read more
