Last morning in Key West and I finally made it here, just after watching the sunrise at the Southernmost Point buoy. I arrived around 7:30 a.m., and the place was already starting to get busy. Food They offer a very interesting assortment of donuts, including flavors you don't typically see elsewhere. Options like Blueberry Cheesecake, Brown Butter Hazelnut, and Cuban Coffee Cake stand out. I chose the Cuban Coffee Cake. It was essentially a spiced coffee cake shaped like a donut, topped with plenty of glaze and crumble. The portion was generous. It could easily feed two people, but I managed to finish the entire thing. For a beverage, I ordered a Mocha Latte. The flavor was very good, but it was served on the cool side. It was completely cold before I finished, and I ended up tossing the last portion. They only serve drinks in paper cups, not ceramic mugs. Although mugs were visible, I was told the health department does not allow them to use them. For me, coffee in a real mug always feels better than paper. Service I have mixed feelings about the service. The person taking my order seemed a bit on edge. When I asked about the mug situation, she appeared annoyed that I would even ask. Since it was my first visit, I asked about the most popular donut, and that also seemed to irritate her. I rephrased and asked for her personal favorite instead, which she answered more willingly. I noticed a few other staff interactions, and the overall tone of the crew felt tense. Not sure if that's typical or if it was just a busy morning. Atmosphere I took a small table inside to finish my coffee and donut. There are several small tables, best suited for two people. Toward the back of the dining area there were boxes and pallets visible. This isn't necessarily a place you visit for ambiance. Most people grabbed a box of donuts and left. Only a handful were dining inside. If you want a good donut with creative flavors, this place delivers. Just don't expect a relaxed coffee shop experience with welcoming, friendly staff. read more

Came here the other day with a gf of mine and we ordered the Maple Bacon donut and the Cuban coffee cake donut. Both were really good but I would say the maple bacon one was better just because the Cuban Coffee Cake was thicker, more doughy. But the flavor was delicious on it I just liked how soft the maple bacon dough was. Either way, I can't wait to come back and try more flavors. The coffee was really good as well! One of my friends also opted to get a lemon poppyseed cake donut and I'd dare say there are no wrong choices here. Glazed Donuts is my go-to every time I visit Key West (the lemon poppy seed roll is a must-have, no questions asked). This place is packed with personality. Stopped in for some Coffee and donuts at the recommendation of a staff member we met working elsewhere and this place is great. The team was friendly and engaging. Lots of unique offerings of donuts and other pastry style breakfast items. A huge variety of coffee, tea, latte and more to choose from. Has a nice wide open setup so you can see the donuts being made, as well as a Coffee roasting area. I would legit rank these as my favorite donuts tied with Voodoo Donuts. The chocolate frosted was the best chocolate frosted donut I've ever had. My girlfriend liked it so much that she ordered it each time we went. The key lime pie donut was phenomenal as well. You may see different donuts depending on what they have. There's rotating flavors so you may see something that only shows up once! The service was friendly and prompt. On our last day the lady at the counter put our donuts in a box so we could get them through the airport no problem. The ambiance is homey feeling. It's small and quaint and gives it charm. When we walked back to our hotel after clubbing all night, we actually saw a gentleman in the store at 2 and 3 am making the batter and filling for the donuts. So you know they're fresh. Quick, friendly service in nice space with a fun variety of donuts. We tried the lemon poppyseed cake, chocolate cake, glazed hazelnut, and sour cream cake donut. Normally I love a cake donut but out of all of the ones we tried, I liked the yeast style hazelnut the best. The cake donuts had good flavors but the cake was very dry. I liked the crunch on the exterior that held up even under the glaze though. I will probably go back tmrw and try some additional flavors but I'll get more glazed/yeast style vs cake. Glazed Donuts is a locals favorite. We got some takeout donuts on our second day of our trip to Key West and really enjoyed them. The coffee was also great. I abstained from having Key Lime Pie anywhere during my visit but upon coming to Glazed Donuts, I knew it was the one I had to try and I think I'm good to only ever have KLP in donut form. While I didn't get to try their wide variety of offerings, the KLP donut was a hit. The portion is just right and is extremely fluffy and flavorful. The balance between the citrus filling, crumbles, and toasted marshmallow is soo good. The space is also pretty classic with that old timey feel where you'd expect an older gentleman with his coffee reading the paper to be somewhere in sight. As for the service, it's so friendly and patient. This was a great find and I'd without a doubt return to try other flavors. read more

FRESH AND DOUGHY I told my boyfriend I was only going to take a bite of each and save them for our car ride home. We ended up scarfing them all down immediately. They were too good and fresh to save for later. One of the workers even mentioned there are no preservatives in their donuts, so it's best to eat them now. This was the first place we stopped after arriving in Key West. The donuts were good enough, but customer service skills seriously need some work. The woman serving donuts at the counter flew off the handle when my wife asked where to find the cream and sugar for the coffee. It turns out they already know how much cream and sugar you want because it was already added to the coffee. Not sure if there is a bias against cruise ship customers or if they are annoyed and upset at all customers. Maybe try drinking little less coffee for gentler more respectful interactions with the paying customers? Either way, we won't be recommending this place.
