Great experience here. Kevin tried to fix a chip in my windshield he told me it probably wouldn't work very well but it's only $25 so let's try it. I wasn't happy with how it turned out so he ordered a windshield and came out to my house (28 miles from Chico) to install it and deducted the $25 I'd paid for chip repair off the windshield cost plus he does a $50 discount off your insurance deductible! It was making wind noise after so I called him up he came out the same day again a long drive and reinstalled the windshield and working great now. I'm often suspicious of 5-star ratings, but with 20+ reviews I gave it a shot. Kevin and his crew definitely deserve the 5 stars. They replaced the windshield on my 2017 Silverado pickup. He explained that the official recommendation is to have the lane departure camera recalibrated after windshield replacement (a $300-400 charge at the dealer?). However, without turning the truck on during the replacement it shouldn't be an issue. And it works fine after the fact, so thank you Kevin for the heads up on that! I'm very happy with his work and plan to return if/when needed. read more

I am impressed! I needed my windshield replaced and he fit me in the next morning. My jeep has a rain censor attached to the windshield with specific mark for where it needs to be. He wanted it done right and ordered the windshield that had it, after he brought one that did not. He came back that same afternoon to put it in. I love this place! We had to get the front and rear seals replaced on a '77 Mercedes. Just the seals; our windshields were in good order. Picked Glasstech because of the price. Lash's Glass wanted $583 total, and Just Auto Glass wanted $574. Glasstech quoted $395 (about $420 out the door). Kevin was super nice and also a Mercedes afficionade. He not only did a great job in one day, he noticed the side molding around the rear window was sliding down and puckered. Apparently you can only really fix that with the window out. A friend of his at a detail shop nearby did it for kicks, basically. Kevin asked if I would mind giving the guy $10 as a thank you. Needless to say, I was extremely happy (the puckering was ugly) and was more than happy to donate a bit more than that. I wish I could remember the other shop so I could review them, too. This business is about as awesome as you could get for quality service at a decent price. Would recommend to my mother, not to mention strangers.
