These folks are Great. Simple as that. They have no competition in this area and you are treated as you should be. As all customers should be and others can learn from Perkins. I broken window coming down the infamous Highway 32. Enough said. 3 Days later, another rock hit and chip. The replacement window was flawless, the chip is barely visible and both jobs were done while we waited. My original review - When was the last time you had customer service that caused you to walk away and say to yourself, what a pleasure. Your television provider, phone, service, retail store? When was the last time you were treated with respect and not looked at as a $$$$ instead of a consumer? In my 30+ years as an Executive for both Warner Bros and Universal I oversaw 30+ customer service representatives serving media outlets worldwide. Each and every one of the outlets/stations was treated as though they were our only clients. This is how it should be everywhere. We have become numb to grouches, attitudes, I could care less and more. It has become the norm. However, this last week I had the most pleasant experience when I was in need of a service and I had to write this review. Sorry it's so long. My wife's window was shattered on a trip back from Los Angeles by a rock. It happens. I called my insurance carrier and they immediately connected me to Safelite. A known name so I felt I would be taken care of. What a mess. Waited 4 days for an appointment and a 6-hour window which passed with no contact until the 7th hour (at 7pm) when the tech called and whined, he hadn't had lunch, it was hot and he couldn't do the job that day. Wow. Really. Thanks for nothing and don't call back. So, to get to my point, Customer Service does exist...... It exists at Perkins Auto Glass. I was in a bind, Googled and found Perkins Glass and said, why not give it a try. What could I lose? I was greeted on my call by Lisa. She could not have been nicer, courteous or more pleasant. I told her my situation and she switched me over to Brad. Told him my situation (at 10am) and was told, if you can bring the vehicle to Chico by noon, I can have you out the door by 5P. What? It's a 2000 Accord. Don't you need to order the glass? Brads response, "Not a problem at all". And so, it went. Took the car over at 11am, met Brad who couldn't have been nicer, Checked over the entire vehicle for any damages and sent me on my way. At 4:15p I am notified the car will be ready in 1/2 an hour. The installation was flawless, the car was perfectly clean and you would never have known there was an issue. This is what I call, "Excellence in Service". In all, I am grateful Safelite dropped the ball. Had they not, I would not have had the pleasure of working with Perkins Glass, (which is highly doubtful) they will be there for me. So Thank you to all the folks at "Perkins Glass". You are shining examples that others could learn from. To be clear, I am a customer, not related to any member of Perkins Glass. I have had posts/reviews removed from other review sites for being suspicious that the review was from the Company. Perkins Glass treated me like a person, not a $$$$. But I was really busy the time kept putting it off and had it fixed. But what kind of quality control is that they released it looking like that what a crap company and I guess that's why they're out of business now they're no longer there. Good rinse.

These guys are great! After years of chasing a leak in my trucks back power window, I finally took…read moreit to the pros. After a quick assessment it was determined the leak was due to the drain holes at the base of the window being clogged! A few minutes of a compressed air cleaning and the drains were cleared and working perfectly. When I tried to pay for the diagnosis and service I was told "No charge for compressed air!"
