Stephanie and Payton installed my new electric window coverings in the master bedroom. They synced up my three shades over my bed and set up the other window shade. All of them now have rechargeable motors instead of battery operated. My other shades are still on AA batteries, and I plan to switch out the motors as soon as possible. They went the extra mile and fixed the syncing problem in my other set of shades in the great room. They were only there to do the master bedroom, but I felt it showed great customer service to go the extra step. read more

Started out as a good interaction, but quickly went downhill after the install. Please keep in mind the purchase was not cheap and were a major investment for our new home (century accordion blinds & Hunter Douglas Shutters) . They did not price match as advertised, but we went with them because of the good quality of the products and their claim of having great customer service. After we received the products, interactions and communication with the owner became unpleasant and quickly became very unprofessional. Whenever we would ask a question about the product or how something worked, she would reply with a "well, I showed you this and I'm not sure what else we can do for you. Nobody else has ever had a complaint about the products and I'm sorry you aren't satisfied with them. I thought they looked great." When I would reply that we were happy with the products but just had questions she quickly became defensive and accused us of speaking down to her. She would make references to other "happy" customers and their homes which is not something a home owner wants to hear when what she claimed she would deliver fell short of those claims. Examples of this are that we purchased blackout blinds for our kid's rooms for a hefty additional price. She did not tell us that there would be large strips of light on the bottom and the sides of the shades which let in a ton of light (making them definitely NOT blackout). With our shutters, it appears she mismeasured because there was a large strip between the top of the shutters and the casing. When we asked about this her and her partner replied that we could "caulk it" (strip was about a half an inch and caulking it was not an option). The remedy to the gap was strips had to be ordered that were big enough to cover the gap. When I asked for a receipt for our incredibly expensive purchase, she told me that my cashed check was the receipt. I explained that I wanted an itemized receipt, and she had a huge problem with this and eventually gave me something that said paid in full, but was not itemized. The owner claimed nobody has ever asked her for a receipt prior to our install. Incredibly disappointing considering that these products have a lifetime warranty and I am not sure how to get anything resolved in the future because we would have to go through her. She also told us that the shutters had a lifetime warranty on yellowing and fading. After the install we received the warranty manual which clearly said that the yellowing/fading is not covered under warranty. We would NOT recommend using this company as the owner is incredibly unprofessional, and could not seem to handle answering any questions without problems. Her shutter installer demonstrated customer service I would have expected from the owner. I'm sure that she would say that we were horrible customers and difficult to deal with, but she made promises and commitments that she did not and would not keep and was dismissive of our questions and concerns. We felt there were some expectations with the amount being paid which definitely fell short of what we expected. This was a horrible experience. This was our experience and maybe others have had better but we wanted to let those who do research make their own judgement. read more

After buying a new home we were wanting to have blinds put up as soon as possible. Shelly was quick to respond to our calls and came out and showed us all the different options we could use. After getting a couple different quotes we decided to go with Allen Allen because their turn around time was the quickest.
