I called Jack's Glass in Covington and Jason answered the phone, super helpful and found the way to yes I can help you. Thankfully, any windshield from 1993-1998 for a BMW 3 Series (E36) will work for my vehicle. Just to be sure, Jason had me come to his shop this past Friday on 27 March 2026 for a dry run to be sure the windshield would work and scheduled me for Monday the 30th at 0800 when we realized it would. The technician was done by 0845 and I was on my way at 0900 after letting the sealer set for 15 minutes, quality, service and value were top notch, thanks again Jason! I stopped by on a Tuesday morning and Keith schooled me on the different materials, prices, etc. He was very polite and helpful- I was very impressed by the customer service! He was able to schedule the appointment for that Friday at 9, just three days later. I received a courtesy call Thursday evening to make sure we were still on. Again, awesome customer service. Friday morning I took my boyfriend over and he picked out the % tint he wanted. Keith informed us that in order for the tint to be considered legal in the state if Kentucky, the front two windows can be no darker than 70%. Although, the three rear windows can be at 80% and you can not tell much of a difference between the two percentages. (That's what we went with- and he was absolutely correct about there not being much of a difference.) Though, I'm assuming if you don't care about legality, they will tint your windows with whatever percentage you want. He informed us the job takes about four hours and will call when it's close to finished. I recommend having someone drop you off and pick you up- because Industrial rd. isn't the most exciting part of town without a car. I got a call about 4.5 hours later, he preferred to let it cure in the sun for another 45 minutes under his supervision, so we came by an hour after. Upon arrival we were completely informed on the aftercare and cleaning, all questions were answered, and the tint looked absolutely great! He warned that there would be some bubbling and haziness over the next few days (the bubbling was apparent upon picking up the car, but it was hardly noticeable), and that it was completely normal and would evaporate. He said to bring the car by in a week and he could look it over to ensure it cured perfectly. I had all five windows done with the high performance tint complete with a lifetime warranty, and including tax the bill came out to about $233. Like I said, customer service was phenomenal and the job was flawless- I certainly recommend this business!
