Incredible service and great selection. I didn't buy my frames or lenses here; I'm in Chicago on business travel and dropped in for an adjustment. Tal did a fantastic job adjusting my Lunor frames - spent time to ensure lenses were properly aligned with my pupils. If you've had misaligned lenses before, you'll know how important it is to get this right. I have a very high, narrow bridge but he knew exactly what to do for a perfect, comfortable fit. Not only are they comfy, I see better now. Tal also spent a lot of time explaining the features of my frames - I never knew they used silk to give the acetate flexibility! He advised me on how to properly clean and defog them. Critical for someone who lives in the tropics. Tal and his colleagues clearly have a passion for eyewear and optics. My father was an eye surgeon and owned an optical shop - yet I learned more from Tal in 10 minutes than I ever learned from my dad. And for all the advice, the adjustment, and cleaning solution, Tal charged me exactly $0. If I didn't live halfway around the world, this would be my regular optical shop, with no other shop even coming close. Fantastic job Tal and thank you for getting my frames fixed! read more

I have to admit that I was hesitant to try this place out based on the fancy location. One day I walked in and Zachary (the owner) wowed me with his enthusiasm for his products. He wasn't joking when he said he has the best inventory in the city. The frames were like little pieces of art all along the perimeter of the store. They have EVERYTHING anyone would ever dream of. Within five minutes, I picked a Barton Perreira frame and BAM! it was a done deal. I made an eye appointment for the next week, and had my amazing Halstons in less than 2 business days (it was over the Easter weekend). Quick turnaround, Zachary is the man, and the store inventory speaks for itself. GO HERE NOW! read more

I've shopped for and purchased eye wear in Tokyo, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Detroit and Chicago. I purchased a pair of the Carlo model glasses from the Zachary Bernard line. I absolutely love them and receive many compliments on them. Zach and team bent over backwards for me by providing outstanding service. They are passionate about what they do, have an abundant selection of eye wear and are experts at recommending the eye wear that is perfect for your facial structure. I live in the Detroit area and bought my glasses while on a trip to Chicago. I'm so glad I discovered Glasses Ltd and I already have my next pair selected!! read more

My buying experience was at the 900 Michigan Avenue/Bloomingdale's center. I had been browsing on-line and locally (I am from Ohio) for months, but not finding anything that I liked. This shop was a pleasant surprise. Although smaller than the other specialty shops they manage to display a wonderful selection of eye wear. And Tal was so great; he was helpful without being pushy and made some great suggestions but did not get in the way of my own vision (no pun intended) for the look I had in mind. So pleased with my purchase. Do consider them when you are going for your next pair, really, you can find your personal style match. read more

I have purchased three pairs of eyeglasses from Glasses Ltd and have been very happy will all of them. Three things set this place apart. First, you can find unique, high-end frames that aren't available at most other places. The second is the quality of their lenses. If you have a difficult prescription like I do and you want the thinnest lenses that science can make, then is the place to go. Finally, I've always been pleased with the emphasis they place on customer service and satisfaction. This place isn't cheap but it's worth the investment. read more

I worked here once and I really just want to point out that Zach is not a good person, he's manipulative, pins employees against each other and creates absurd and chaotic drama for his own sadistic amusement. And everything is way overpriced. Please think twice before purchasing from this establishment. Zach is an entitled con man. read more
