I love West Loop Eye Care! I saw Dr. Shah and she was really phenomenal. I felt like she was very empathetic and actually listened to my concerns. She worked with me to help figure out the best course of treatment for my dry eyes. All of the staff here are wonderful. They are kind and efficient. When I had an insurance issue, they worked diligently to ensure it was resolved. I really appreciated how proactive they were, so I didn't have to spend a ton of time fighting with my insurance. I highly recommend West Loop Eye Care! read more

There was a phone person/receptionist here when I called to ask for information and to make an appointment who was so friendly and helpful, like literally one of the best customer service people I had ever interacted with. He was awesome. That guy left such a strong impression of the place I went with it. The overall experience I had here was good. Everything was smooth, I got my eye exam as needed, they processed the insurance without a hitch. I would definitely return here for subsequent eye care. The optometrists were all great, but the real MVP was that phone guy. OVERALL: 9/10 read more

I had the best eye care experience at West Loop Eye Care from start to finish. Gisselle was warm and professional during check-in and pre-exam, setting a great tone. Dr. Kat gave me the most thorough eye exam I've ever had--she walked me through high-resolution images of my eyes and explained everything clearly. It was the first time I truly understood the condition of my eyes and vision. The optical consultant Lynette even helped me pick out frames that matched my personality perfectly. The office is modern, with up-to-date technology (no more surprise air puff!). Highly recommend! read more

Matt & Dominique were so helpful! The screw holding my nose pad fell out & I couldn't find it. The little glasses kits didn't have the right size screw. They had every screw size imaginable & were able to adjust my glasses after fixing my nose pad. Matt asked if my glasses fogged from wearing masks (Yes). He asked to put these new anti fog drops on the lenses & they worked! I'll be back to purchase them after I test my glasses out a few days. read more

This has been my go to place for 5 years and although Matt is no longer with the company ERIC has been fantastic with my care, and he even helped my boyfriend pick out some glasses as well. This isn't his home base but I look forward to seeing him ever visit. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to West loop eye care. read more

My husband and I have been coming here since 2019. I stopped in because the arm on my frames was coming loose. I was worried they would break and I don't have a backup pair. Lynette was so nice to fix them on the spot. Thank you read more

Huge thanks to the team at West Loop Eye Care who made my experience with them so seamless and enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Pauline with both professionalism and friendliness. She was able to knock out intake info and preliminary testing so quickly and efficiently. Dr. Nimi gave 12/10 care - above and beyond my expectations. I have had substantial issues with my eyes/vision over the years which led to many visits with optometrists/ophthalmologists. Dr. Nimi is truly a standout medical professional - so knowledgable, informative, and empathetic in her approach. She provided insight and options I was not previously equipped with which made me feel secure, understood, and respected in her care. Following my exam, I was introduced to Leti who was also very informative and patient in helping me find a pair of glasses that I felt comfortable in and confident about. She was kind enough to offer her opinions and insight when asked which made me feel like I was shopping with a friend without compromising on professionalism. Further, she outlined pricing options and explained insurance info to ensure I was making an informed decision that made the most sense for me. TL;DR everyone I interacted with at WLEC is iconic - ask for them by name to see for yourself :) read more

My spouse and I were new to Chicago when we first decided to give West Loop Eye Care a try. That was in 2020. We're very glad we did. The most recent Jan 2022 visit, I needed to update my lenses with a new Rx. I met with expert optician, Summer. Her skillful attention to detail made for an easy peasy appointment. When the new lenses arrived, I was able to drop off my Thierry Lasery glasses (Yes, they carry TL) and have the lenses replaced and picked up at MY earliest convenience. West Loop does impeccable work and the current staff is extraordinarily professional and kind. Summer's expert care did not go unnoticed! Oh yeah, West Loop Eye Care gets 5 stars! read more

West Loop Eye Care - Eye Care, Eyewear, Optometry - Optometrists Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Absolute! Best! Customer! Experience at West Loop Eye Care / Vision Boutique! I visited the West Loop eye clinic on April 23, 2022 because I needed a pair of prescription sunglasses before a May 5-7 wedding. Dr. Nimi, Leti and the entire West Loop Eye Care clinic are awesome! (1) Dr. Nimi is incredibly knowledgeable and adjusted my prescription because I was overdue for an eye exam to absolute perfection! (2) Leti is incredibly friendly and patiently right-sized my frames to fit me to absolute perfection! (3) And, one of the staff members was responsive. She moved me up from a Tuesday to a Saturday appointment so the sunglasses could be ready for the wedding, absolute perfection! PS - the office artwork is great too! Highly recommend West Loop Eye Care to all my friends, family and West Loop neighbors! read more

I had a wonderful experience at West Loop Eye Care! The *entire staff* was warm, kind and genuine. I went for an exam and to pick out new glasses. Matt was the individual who helped me pick out my glasses -- he was honest, sincere and an absolute joy to work with. He respected my budget, did not try to upsell me and was completely transparent when I asked questions. Additionally, I felt safe being there given COVID-19 times. Everything was cleaned off before and after use. I highly recommend West Loop Eye Care! read more

I am delighted to provide this review. I have been a patient of West Loop Eye Care Center for more than 10 years before moving to their new location which now resides on Peoria. I have to say they are the gold center of excellence, modeled professional eye care center. This was my first visit during the pandemic and I was impressed with their safety measures; no contact approach, gloves, mask, sanitized, social distancing, down to their well selected grey scrubs work uniforms. I was at first confused my the online paper work requirements but when I got their I quickly realized it was apart of their safety measures. The entire staff from the receptionist, optometrists, to the opticians are very courteous, professional and friendly. All the optometrists their are phenomenal with eye testing and vision care andnexplaining the results your personal options and recommendations for lenses; conracts, lenses, reading, bifocals, and other new options. They carry a very nice carefully selective range of beautiful eye wear from affordable to designer wear. Matt and his team have a process that helps you easily select and narrow down your favorite and selected pair. Once you narrow down your choices they then do a price comparison with your insurance coverage and your discounts, doctors recommendtions for lenses and purchase option which could be all overwhelming; but not here because of their customer assistant process. Since, I ended up loving a designer pair of frames, I then opted to go with a 6 months supply of contact lenses rather than a yeear supply to fit into my right now budget. I am very pleased and excited about my selection and can't wait for them to arrive. Thanks West Loop, you are the best!!! read more

The service yielded by the staff at West Loop Eye Care is both professional and exceptionally friendly! I am very satisfied with the frames that Armand chose for me! Also, the staff is very good at remembering and calling you by name, which makes it a more familial and friendly environment. Great work guys! William "Jason" Bell read more

West Loop Eye Care - Optometrists Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I have been to many eye care places over the years but none compare to the personal service and care that the team at West Loop Eye Care provides, and this is largely due to Matt. He genuinely cares and takes time to help you find the perfect glasses. Often at other eye care shops when I would pick up my new glasses it would involve numerous adjustments to fit and straighten. At West Loop I got two new pairs and both fit perfectly the first time on. I could say that the reason I will go back to West Loop is because their designer selection is fantastic, but it was really the overall experience from Matt and the team that will keep me coming back! read more

Matt, Bre, and Steph are amazing! I have been coming here for about two years now and the customer service is outta this world. They're so helpful and eduxational and not pushy! Some times you go to eye care places and you can tell they are trying to sell frames, but not here! It feels so warm and homey! I absolutely love it and will be buying my frames from here for the foreseeable future! read more

West Loop Eye Care - My beautiful Chanel glasses! - Optometrists Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Dominique, Matt, and Greg teamed up to deliver an incredible experience! Dominique is caring, very knowledgeable, and highly organized. Although initially nervous about my first eye exam in a while, she put me at ease from the moment I stepped into the shop. Dr. Shah is an expert, and very efficient. My prescription hadn't changed much, but it was nice to be walked through my ocular health so throughly. Once I was ready to pick out frames, Greg and Matt took the time to provide detailed feedback on my try ons, made suggestions, priced several pairs for me, and waited patiently while I called friends for second (and third) opinions. I can't thank these two enough. I wish I could send a Christmas card to say thank you! These two are real professionals, who can not only charm your pants off but also make you feel secure in your frame choice. The whole experience really felt more consultative than transactional. I will be back next year. If you are looking for top of the line care, great selections, and industry knowledge, look no further than West Loop Eye Care. You won't regret it! read more

Matt and Fernando are the best! They are always pleasant any time you walk into the clinic or call them. Dr. shah was amazing, she is a passionate optician and gives the best care and advice to patients. Matt picked out my glasses for me, it was his first pair he gave to me too. I was impressed! This eye clinic even has the best deals on bulk contacts. I see myself being a patient for the next several years! read more

Overall had a great experience! The team is professional and considerate of COVID precautions. Dr. Shah was friendly and very informative. Matt guided me through their great selection of frames. He was also very patient when I said I liked all of them! When we finally narrowed it down, he tweaked the frames for the perfect fit. I did not need any extra adjusting when I picked them up. Genuinely a great group in the West Loop area! read more

Had a great experience getting my eye exam and glasses fitted! Was not intimidating at all, like any of my previous experiences at the optometrist. The doc was comprehensive about my check-up, the staff were patient and hospitable. West Loop Eye Care - New glasses! - Optometrists Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I have nothing but amazing things to say about West Loop Eye Care!! It's clear that great customer service is a core value here - Dr. Nimi, Kai, Lynette and Yax were wonderful, and even arranged for my glasses lenses to be cut the same day since I couldn't wear my contacts. So happy to have found a great local business to support! read more

A very nice optometry boutique! They were helpful as I was considering glasses and also assisted me, seamlessly, with ordering new contacts over the phone. I appreciate that associate Yax took the time to explain different options to me and did not pressure me to go with the more expensive option. Email and phone communication both great on her part. With so many places these days it's hard to get a hold of anyone let alone feel like they care about your concerns, and this was not the case here. Thank you! read more

I'm absolutely pleased with the care and attention I received from this business! The staff members were attentive, courteous, and extremely patient with me. Also, the facility is amazingly beautiful! The place is clean and highly sanitized - which in these times, is of utmost importance. As an aside, I am obsessed with my new Fendi specks! I would absolutely recommend this place big time! By the way, the doctor is great too! read more

Not my favorite place. Came in here because I have a sty in my eye. Hurts and puffy and leaking. Took about 15 min upon check in to fill out a ridiculous form about my symptoms that no one read. Then the receptionist is trying to "take my eye's pressure" with a thing that shoots air in my already irritated and painful eye. I ask if it's necessary and instead of asking the doctor she proceeds to tell me it doesn't hurt and is necessary. Shoots my good eye - and I know it'll a ton so I refuse...of course it's not necessary per doctor. Doctor- exam is ok. Aggressively pushing product and appointment is not. Pushing a $28 pad for a warm compress - which obviously you can just warm up a clean wet cloth in the microwave is not cool. Pushing a required follow up appointment at $140 a visit on me when clearly I called day of and had no problem scheduling my one of 16 appointments available is not. Pushing some kind wipes for preventative care when this is my first sty in 30 years..?? Really?! And I had to ask 16 times to call in my prescription. Will NOT be returning. read more

I had the absolute best experience finding frames here! Matt and Fernando were beyond patient and helpful allowing me to try absolutely everything and recommending the perfect pair. They're like the best friends you need on your shopping trip. They're incredibly knowledgeable, professional and just fun people. I got my glasses the very next day! They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my experience and purchase and I can't rave about them enough! read more

Great eye/optometrist office in the West Loop. Happy I found this gem of a place. Came here on lunch to have an eye exam and it was a great experience. I mean like who say's great experience for anything medical/health related right?? But I mean I really had an all around great experience from beginning to end. Everyone was so helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Lynette and Matt went above and beyond to assist me with eyeglass selection and even billing/payment options, which I did not even know existed until today. If you're looking for a great eye doctor with excellent/personable customer service and the friendliest service, look no further, this is your spot. read more

Dr. Shah and Bre were extremely helpful in helping me find a nice pair of affordable glasses and contact lens.

So far I have only been treated with extremely kind care at the West Loop Eye Care. West Loop eye care is in my condo building and will be my go to for eye appointments (once per year). Not my favorite activity, but I wear contacts/glasses so I need to get my eyes checked. I stopped in to West Loop Eye Care to initially get my glasses tightened just for maintenance. Matt and Armando told me no problem and did a great job tightening them for me. I stopped in again tonight to schedule a meeting in a few weeks. Even though the store was closing, Matt welcomed me with a smile and we scheduled an appointment in a couple of weeks. Moreover, I will finish this review after my meeting. My initial experience has been pleasantly enjoyable as I was treated with high quality service. read more

Receptionist was very helpful, Dr listened to me and was very kind. Matt helped me pick up my glasses with so much warmth! After living in Lakeview for years, I needed to find a new eye docotor in West Loop. After reading a lot of great reviews online, I decided to check this place out. I can't say enough positive things about West Loop Eye Care. Matt at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming. He took care of all my needs and helped me get some great discounts on my contacts. Dominque was a pro at all the pre appointment tests and was able to help me through them with ease. Finally, I wish I could give another 5 stars for Dr. Helen alone! She was amazing and really cared about my eyes. She wasn't overly sales focused and actually listened to my concerns. I walked out with my questions answered and felt like I got a great eye check up. She even refilled an RX I needed as well as recommended where I could get eye wash wipes (OCusoft) at a good price!
