My friends and I came without a reservation, so we were put on a waitlist and were seated after over an hour or so (which is understandable). However the entire time after sitting down, we felt extremely rushed and were only told after we finished our meal that there was a 1.5 seated time limit and that we would need to pay and make way for the next guest. Mind you we still had drinks to finish, so we finished it as quickly as possible and left. The food was okay, but nothing special. Definitely overhyped by online food bloggers and overpriced for what you get. I feel like this place was mostly hyped for the aesthetics. What we got: * The OG: 3/5 - Tasted like curry and rice, yummy but not amazing. Best thing from what we ordered. * Burrata & Beets: 3/5 - My friend had this and said it was good, but for the price it wasn't really worth getting. Portion was small so she had to order their baguette on the side, which were 4 tiny slices lol. * Biscoff Latte: 2/5 - We all mainly came for this, but were highly disappointed. Just tastes like any other regular latte, the only taste of Biscoff was from the cookie itself that they used for garnish LOL. The food is good. The problem is one of the server. She said that due to being a party of more than six, the gratuity is 15 pct which is fair enough. The problem is she 'chose' the tip on the screen and just gave me the total amount. Upon checking home, the gratuity is actually more than 15 pct which is contrary to what the server said. That it is just straight dishonest. The steak is a bit overdone too, with specific instruction being medium. read more

This restaurant just popped up in my IG as I was looking for a place to have brunch. I was the third in queue when I arrived at 10 am on a Saturday. I was seated next to a window. Love the environment inside, especially near the window, able to see the sunlight with my brunch. I ordered a Fireball, a lobster bennes and a Matcha latte. Fireball (5/5) A strong flavour of ginger which woke me up. (Please see the menu for the ingredients that made this beverage) Matcha Latte (5/5) It was excellent! It's creamy and it had a balance of milk and matcha flavour. Lobster Bennes (5/5) The presentation of the dish was elegant. There were plenty of lobster meats and the taste of the hollandaise sauce was extraordinary. The lemon flavour stood out from the sauce and gave me an awakening sensation. I also loved the way that the potatoes paired with fresh fruits on the side. The potatoes were slightly spicy and the fresh fruit on the side just soothed the spicy flavour. I went to Glass Kitchen with my mom for Easter Sunday brunch, and it was definitely packed. We didn't make a reservation, so the wait time was about half an hour. We didn't mind, though. Service was pleasant, and there was plenty of room to sit comfortably while waiting. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, and it was fairly spacious for two people. I ordered the Fried Chicken and Bubble Waffle, and my mom the Seafood Scramble. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, with the spicy sauce on the side adding that Korean fried chicken vibe. The sesame bubble waffle did leave something to be desired, however, being much less flavourable than the chicken and being too dry. Mom enjoyed the seafood scramble, using it as a spread for the rye toast provided, but I didn't taste it myself. We shared a Burrata and Beats salad and this might have been the most delicious dish of them all! Perfectly caramelized sweet toppings, with the cheese to offset that and the beets was incredible. Raspberry Lychee Baked Alaska for dessert was a first time for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh ice cream and meringue. The edible flowers were a fun touch. The pomegranate was definitely too sour to enjoy though. For drinks, we ordered a Fireball and KP, respectively. If you've ever had cold-pressed juice with some ginger and turmeric, then you may have a good time with the Fireball. The KP was also a 'thumbs up' from my mom. Overall, a great experience with the wait staff and the food, and a lively atmosphere that isn't too loud. A bit expensive, but seems to be the cases for most fusion-food places. read more

We went for a Saturday brunch. Jessie was our server and she was so attentive and made us feel very welcome. She offered some helpful recommendations. We ordered the lobster Benedict and the smoked salmon Benedict. The presentation was elegant and thoughtful. It came with fresh fruit that was actually ripe, not just pretty. The garlic potatoes were a real treat. We also got the pretty Ube pancakes. Although they were attractive looking, we felt the pancakes were too dense and the butter flavor was too strong. It was more savoury than sweet. If it was a lighter pancake it would have been better for us as we felt our throats had a butter coating after enjoying them. I would love to see the ube sauce and ube butter served with a Belgian waffle and a small scoop of ube ice cream. The playing style is to be commended. Plate glazes coordinate and compliment the food. Finishing touches like flower petals in complimentary colors added a sense of artistry and reflected the kitchen's care for their craft. The vinyl on their mirrors are already peeling. Food: it was a little too oily and greasy for me. The food is pretty heavy and left me thirsty. Which leads me to, no alcohol license. Sorry but definitely not going to be on our list for girls night out. Service: lacking, for this price range I would be expecting more. I've had better service at some chain restaurants. I understand feeling a bit overwhelmed, but the host was a little bit rude about making us wait for like 30 minutes to get a table...we reserved. The waitress we had was absolutely lovely! However, the pacing was really slow. It took us so long to get our food. I originally asked for one of their juices, but it was not available. I really liked the Cured Hamachi and would order it again, but I wouldn't order the Yuca Fries. We unfortunately ended up having to ask for salt as they lacked seasoning. While the latte itself was good, it didn't have any biscoff in it. Overall, I'm considering going again to order other items, but I'm not sure how I feel about the service.
