My sister is a regular here for as long as I can remember so when I was looking to get mani-pedis done, i came to give this place a shot. The ladies who work here are the sweetest and they welcome their customers regular or not with such friendliness it makes the salon easy to love. All the ladies who have assisted me have such light hands and with the relaxing music played, it gets so tempting to just fall asleep while getting pampered lol they have a good selection of gel colors and I found the Opi brand to last longer. I had a recent color done from the Perfect Match selection which only lasted a week until it started to chip. The Opi lasted me almost 3 weeks. I've been coming here for about 3 years when it was "Nail Studio" and found it to be consistent, but I have to praise the new ownership. New owner Blanca is super sweet, knowledgeable about nail trends, and a pro at Dip powder. My nails have never looked better, and she makes sure that my nails do not look bulky or lumpy with the powder. I love not having to use the led lamps. She's kept the pricing similar to the previous owners, which is awesome. I recommend making an appointment (especially for the Dip powder) in the busy seasons. The other workers in the salon are fantastic for pedicures and skilled with gel. You won't be disappointed! read more

Decided to get a dip manicure after a friend of mine recommended this place and told me she got her dip powder for $30. I can't find the actual prices of anything listed anywhere but my set was $45 for dip powder and 1 small heart on my ring fingers. This was not the price I expected for the experience I received. Upon entering, I washed my hands before the nail tech started. The dip powder process took about an hour with a mini hand scrub/massage to complete the appointment. Post-appointment, I noticed how some nails have an uneven dip coat. I also noticed I had 3-5 cuts on my cuticles or under my nails from the rough filing, which I hope I don't get an infection from. Overall, I wanted to like this place and to come back, but after this experience, I rather spend it somewhere else where my nail/skin won't be damaged. read more

I wish I had taken pictures of all the manicures and pedicures they've done for me just to prove how great this salon is. Anyway, as a long time resident of Lincoln Park, I've tried all the nail salons in town, and Glamour Nail Studio has always been at the top of my list. Since Blanca, the service in this salon has always exceeded my expectations. I love their gels, their dip powders, and their pedicures, spa and regular alike. I have always been treated with kindness and care, and every single staff member knows exactly what they are doing and they do it extremely well. Just wow. I've tried many salons in the Lincoln Park area, and every other place besides this place I've always had broken nails ( tips and gels on top) within a week after getting them done. When i came to this salon i immediately felt so welcomed and the energy was amazing. They had suggested i do dip powder to get my natural nails longer, she told me within 3 visits my nails would be longer and stronger. This is my second dip set, and my natural nails are so strong! I use to go every 2 weeks for a fill in. But now they last me 3 weeks, and I'm sure if i waited longer they would probably still be just as great. I received a pedicure for vacation and my toe soon after became infected. After the doctor removed my entire toe nail he said it was definitely because of the pedicure and even criticized the work the nail tech had done on my other toes. I am in the worst pain ever, I cannot walk and my toe nail will not fully grow back for a year! I just think everyone needs to be very aware before going here or maybe just choose a different salon. read more

Great spot to get your nails done in town. Its located right on Main Street and has ample parking in the back of the building, as well as an entrance to the nail salon. The studio itself is decorated very cute. Orange walls, hanging lanterns, flat screen TVs. All in all its decorated and setup nicely. I also really like that they have a mini fridge with waters and sodas for their customers, very nice touch. I made an appointment to come for a gel mani and pedi but it was dead in there so I didn't really need one. This was on a Monday though, so I cant speak for the other days of the week. Monday through Wednesday they have a gel mani and regular pedicure special for $40. That's a great deal. In Hoboken I spend way more than $40 for those two services so I was happy to catch this deal. They have a pretty big selection for their gel colors, although I did find the OPI selection to be lacking a little. When I came in at 4:45, I told them I had somewhere to be and had to leave at 6:15 and to my surprise they were able to accommodate my request. I was very appreciative of that. Lee (whom my mom and both my sisters recommended) was out on Monday so someone else did my gel manicure. Overall it was pretty good, it wasn't the best gel manicure I've gotten but it wasn't the worst. Her work was a little sloppy but not to the point where I would say something. I was a little ticked that she made my nails square when they were round. Oh well though, that's an easy fix next time anyway. My pedicure was very good. The girl that did it (didn't catch her name) gave a great massage. I also like that they use the hot stones too. It was very relaxing. I salon hopped for quite some time until someone recommended Glamour Nail Studio. For the record, I have natural, medium length nails which I like filed straight with no round edges. For some reason, it's been difficult to find a manicurist to get the shape right using an actual nail file, not an electric filer as well as cut my cuticles before polishing, not after the polish is applied. I get dip manicures, which means no UV light. So I gave Glamour Nail Studio a shot and haven't looked back. Valerie from day one, asked what I liked and has done my nails perfectly ever since. The ladies are all lovely and the prices are very reasonable. They just redid the salon and it's very pretty, clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a large salon where it's a revolving door of customers, this is not it. If you want a nice place to go and have your mani or pedi done right, I recommend Glamour Nail Studio. read more

I moved to the area and this place was recommended to me by a friend. They so great work for dip manicures which is what I was looking for. However, the last 3 times I've gone my dip has chipped within 2 weeks and usually it will last me a month.. and the last 2 times I saw lily(I think that is her name) and it takes her an hour and a half to do my nails.... I'm not sure why it takes her so long when I see plenty of other customers start their nails at the same time getting the same thing done with someone else and they are in and out so quick. I always make an appointment and I usually don't care who does my nails but if it's going to take that long I won't be returning. read more

First time trying this salon. I was super excited to see the salon was open on Sundays! I love that the place had ample parking in the back. I entered from the back door and was greeted as soon as I came in. I came to get a much needed pedicure. I am very particular when it comes to pedicures...sort of a pedicure snob. I've had some pretty amazing pedicures and some pedicures that wouldn't even qualify being called a pedicure. I just moved to the area and figured I would give this place a try. About the salon... The place is clean and people seem friendly. The have tons of color polishes to pick from. I like that they use Essie and Opi products. They also have a lot of gel colors. I picked my color and was waved to the chair. They have massage chairs, definitely a plus! I also love that they offer free wifi! I noticed they had free beverages...I was not offered any and felt awkward helping myself. My experience... One of my biggest pet peeves when getting a pedicure is cold water. I just hate it! Part of a spa experience should be comfort and enjoyment. Well, the water was cold and not pleasing to my feet :( negative star for that. Onto the pedicure... I've had better and I've also had much worse. I felt I had to keep telling her to scrub the callouses and finally just opted to get a callous remover, which was an additional $10. Sad part is even after that, my feet still felt rough on the bottom. **sigh** I've been to places where my feet felt as soft as the bottom of a babies butt, without the callous remover. I feel like some of the other patrons had a much better experience lol mine as the other girls seemed to be a little more thorough. Maybe I just got someone who was new...I don't know. Although she seemed sweet, I am not too impressed with my pedicure. Again, it's not terrible, but not the best. The massage was good. In addition to the hand massage, they also use a hot stone. I will add a star for that. I also love that they give a quick shoulder massage right after they place you on the dryer. I feel all spa experiences should include pampering. I am giving this place four stars...I don't think the place is terrible. I love when my feet feel soft and unfortunately they do not. My nails do look great, so I can't complain. The pedicure was $20, plus an extra $10 for a callous removed. Not terrible. My old spot charged $20 and you didn't need to get a callous remover... :/ I will be giving this spot another try. Part of me wants to drive back to my old spot, even though it's over a half hour away. Unfortunately they're not open on Sundays. read more

I just went back today to get my nails done for my wedding with my mom, aunt, and sister in law. I felt so special with balloons and Champagne to celebrate my wedding. I've been getting my nails done at Nail Studio for about six months now. They are always courteous and friendly. They have an extensive collection of gel colors, and the place is always clean. The massage pedicure chairs are great, and they even offer complimentary sodas/waters/iced teas, etc.! They typically have a movie or music videos playing on the TVs, which is nice. They are even open on Sundays! A rare find in this area... The place is somewhat hard to find and easily missed since there are three nail studios on the same block - so make sure you are at the right one! This parking lot is located behind what looks like a residential home with a simple yellow sign reading "NAIL STUDIO". The rates are average for the area. A gel manicure and regular pedicure will run you $40, any day of the week. Highly recommend checking this place out! read more

I am a regular client here since I moved to LP last year. I get a gel manicure and regular pedicure every two weeks; both always look perfect. The entire staff is wonderful and I never worry about who might be doing my nails because I know the service will be great. Movies are always playing which I love (I've even stayed a little longer to watch to the end once lol) and drinks are available if you're a little thirsty. Truly great service. My teen daughter has an issue with three nail beds due to an car accident. The tech applied something to ALL her nails before doing her gel manicure .My mistake for not asking the cost!! I was SHOCKED when I was told to pay $100.00 for my teens nails! ($20 for regular pedicure and $80 for her gel manicure nails!! ) I was generous with my tips before hearing the final price! Lee and her husband are wonderful. Very accommodating. I have been going to the Nail Studio for about 4-5 years. Very clean and if you are a walk-in they will accommodate you asap. Complimentary refreshments and massage !!! I love the manicure/pedicures and I also have waxing done which is great and very clean. The whole salon is calming, clean and pleasant to go and relax. I referred six of my girlfriends who go there faithfully and now bring 3 daughters and their friends. My husband likes it there as well, the pedicures.
