Decided to go here for the first time and I regret it. The young woman who did my eyebrows seemed inexperienced as she kept going over the same spots that she removed the hair from already. My usual eyebrow lady does them within 15 minutes or less and it seemed to have doubled at this location; she was very slow and the job somehow was worse. She was hesitant to trim the ends, which is something that I always have done by my original eyebrow lady. My eyebrows were uneven as one was arched and the other was curved so I had to tell her to trim the ends or take off more above the arch. She had to go back in several times and each time she failed to do what I asked her. My eyebrows were 3 weeks grown out and I could literally see my shape yet she failed to see it. I left unsatisfied and tried to clean them up with tweezers afterwards. read more

I've been coming to this threading salon for years, and I've always left happy with the results. I get my full face threaded, and they consistently do a thorough job, getting all of the little hairs. The owner is incredibly nice and welcoming. I don't have a preferred technician because, in my experience, all of the workers here do a great job. read more

Great location for eyebrows services. Basanti is the best. She always answers my calls and provides great customer service.

*OVERALL* Affordable prices + great service + gentle, thorough eyebrow threading! They take both walk-ins and reservations via phone call. I love how the esthetician took her time to thread my brows, and it was one of my most pain-free threading experiences! *PARKING* There is plenty of parking in the plaza the salon is located in. read more

I have been coming here for a year and always go to Sammy because she consistently does an amazing job shaping my eyebrows. She's attentive and always makes sure they look the way I want them too. Recently, I needed a quick clean-up, but unfortunately, Sammy wasn't available. I decided to go with another one of the ladies, a young woman with short hair. While I appreciate her taking care of me on short notice, I feel there's room for improvement in her service. She was frequently on her phone while doing my eyebrows and paused multiple times to check it, which made the service feel rushed and less professional. When I saw my eyebrows afterward, they were left looking round, despite my eyebrows naturally having an arch. This was disappointing because maintaining their natural shape is very important to me. I hope this feedback can be taken as an opportunity for growth. Everyone here is usually wonderful, and I want to continue supporting this business. I'm sharing this because I believe small changes in focus and technique could make a big difference for future clients. read more

This has been my go-to place for my eyebrows but the quality and service has gone down so much. The owner lady was great but she wasn't there today. Only 3 young ladies. The one that did mine today seems sweet but inpatient. Did the job so rapidly that broke my skin on both side (under eyebrows). They're quite painful and I'm hoping they won't leave scars. read more

I've visited this place a few times, and it's often a hit or miss experience, but I've never had truly awful work done. Today, I decided to stop in for my eyebrows and was greeted by Sammi. She did an amazing job on my brows, and I'm very pleased with how they turned out! It was a true cleanup and nothing more. I often worry that they might thin them out, but she left them nice and full. I will definitely be coming back to her! read more

I have been going to a location in Alhambra for quite some time and I was devastated that they closed. I had a bad experience at Kaya. So I was searching for a location where I can trust them to do threading. This is definitely my new go to place now. They're very kind and quick. I wasn't in too much pain when they were threading my Eyebrows. I'm planning to become a regular there from now on! read more

My bf and I came here to get our eyebrows threaded a few days ago. I don't have much eyebrow hair, but the threader did a really good job shaping my brows the way I wanted! My boyfriend came in for a touch up, and he loves his brows too :) read more

I don't usually enjoy social situations but I love services such as that threading, waxing, haircuts, etc., so I feel even more comfortable when it's a business such as this, where the workers don't talk to you unless necessary. Not only do they allow the environment to be relaxing, they are always gentle, efficient, and detailed. Even though I have moved away from the area, I make a point to get my eyebrows ($10) and lips ($5) threaded here. They also accept credit cards, which I think is a recent change! read more

I've been going to this threading salon for about a few years now I think. It's my go-to spot. It's also about an 8 minute drive from home which is super convenient. Basanti is my favorite threader by far. I'm always a bit anxious about having the other threaders work on my eyebrows, but I'm sure they're good too. They are also super friendly and welcoming here. Definitely a place I would recommend. Consistenly perfecting my brows. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. Thanks! read more

Thought I left a review already! I LOVEEEE BASANTI(hope I'm spelling your name right). I drive from Culver City just to get my brows done by her! THE BEST with attention to detail and just a super sweet woman! We have great conversations and her spirit is so pure and kind. Thankful to have found you over 3 years ago now! Can't go wrong here at all! I'll post pics later! read more

I have been here a couple of times ever since moving to the area a few years ago. I generally come every few months to get my eyebrows cleaned up, and they have done a great job each time! They also have very affordable prices at only $7 for brows. I always do walk-in whenever I have spare time during my errand days. I am usually taken either immediately or within 5-10 minutes, although I did wait up to 20 minutes once when I came in after a large party. If you are more strapped for time, I would recommend making an appointment beforehand. When you come in, you can sign in at the clipboard and then have a seat while waiting for your turn. They do accept card, but they prefer cash for payments $10 and under. Don't forget to ask for a stamp card if you plan on coming back! The parking lot has usually been crowded whenever I've been here, but if you can't find a spot out front, there is plenty of parking in the structure in the corner of the plaza. read more

I visited Basanti for the 2nd time around. She did my eyebrows even better this time and I found out she threads your ears as well if you have hair on them for an extra charge. Never before has a threader asked to thread my ears. I got them done and they are smooth as a baby's bottom now. Love it! Thanks again Basanti. read more

So I normally get my eyebrows waxed/threaded all the way out in Pasadena and decided to give this new place a try. I recommend going in and getting your eyebrows threaded with Basanti she is extremely patient and sweet when threading my eyebrows. She nicely cleaned my eyebrows and didn't reshape them or make them look too thin. Give this place a try I highly recommend it! *accepts debit/credit cards sweeeeet! read more

So happy to have found a place that threads with consistency! I would definitely recommend this place!

I have been going to get my eyebrows done here at Glamor Salon for 2 years now. I have always been a loyal customer and have recommend this salon to everyone I know. When I went in yesterday I was expecting the same gentle treatment I always receive but that did not happen. I got the worst experience I have ever had. The normal girl I go to was fully booked so I went to one of the other ladies. The lady was so rough she cut the whole bottom of my eyebrows causing me to bleed. She even kept pulling my hair and did not offer to put aloe vera. She had attitude the whole time as well. I will now only make appointments with my lady which I did not know you can do. Beware who does your eyebrows or you will come out with cut up eyebrows. read more

Been here once before with minor issues, just didn't like the shape much that time... went back to try them again yesterday and pretty much got my eye butchered by the girl in the middle chair... she just kept digging into my eye and it hurt! My hairs were few, but long, so I don't know what the hell she kept trying to pull out... when i was finally gonna tell her to stop, the damage was done... how could she not see she just cut me 10 times... first pic is from this morning, the rest are from tonight and you can already see the deep scabs and bruise... obviously never going back, this was excessive and just ridiculous read more

I love coming here ! Her and her assistant are so friendly and would go with what's right ! They would give you an idea on what shaping would look good on you. This review is from a few months ago!!!! I have thick eyebrows so I'm really picky with where I go because I hate when I say clean up only and they end up doing more than I asked. Been going to see Ms. Basanti for about 2 years now and it's been a saving grace for my eyebrows. PROS 1. Short wait times and no appointment needed @ 6pm there were 2 customers ahead of me and I waited 10-15 minutes) 2. Two threaders (sometimes, there's only one) 3. For eyebrows ($7): not only do thy clean up the stray hairs, they help shape them (my eyebrows were relatively clean before I went in, and I came out with even better looking eyebrows!) 4. They thread eyebrows for males. 5. They engage with their customers. 6. The gel they put on afterward, does not make you break out and it reduces the redness! TIPS 1. Remember to sign in on their clip board on the black desk! 2. Ask for a stamp card - the 8th eyebrow threading is free! 3. If you have makeup on, they'll wipe it off for you! read more

I wanted to get my brows done and was passing through on my way back to LA. Saw this place on yelp, decided to stop, and I'm so glad I did. Easily the best and most gentle threading I've gotten in a while read more

I've been here a couple of times. Once they did my eyebrows pretty well, and another time they did them too thick, but nothing I couldn't go back home and fix later. I was debating writing a review because I know many people still like this place. Heck, I know people that love this place. I just figured some people might want to have more pictures for reference and to decide whether they want to get their eyebrows threaded here. I haven't found another place to do my eyebrows in the two years since I've lived in MP, but now I must try out somewhere I am truly happy with the work they do. So, yesterday January 19, 2019 I went in to get my eyebrows threaded. I like to grow out my eyebrows towards the end of the year to get them reshaped and even for the new year. I have been walking around with bushy eyebrows for months, so excited to get my eyebrows done professionally. I waited since November for this? Man, I was so dissatisfied. I felt that the woman who did my eyebrows wasn't even trying to do a good enough job. I could tell she wasn't doing a good job because she was hardly removing hair, and she worked on one much more than the other. Anyways, I had a bad week, and I couldn't wait to treat myself with this. At the end, she asked me if I wanted them thinner, I think she noticed I wasn't satisfied, but I thought, "If you can feel okay with doing such a careless job the first time around, letting you remove more hair will only make it worse." I quickly figured I would just go home and fix them. I know my eyebrows are really busy, but I've been plucking them out since the fifth grade (I'm 21), and they take a very long time to grow back. Honestly, even if I were to not pluck them out for a year, they still wouldn't grow back fully, I digress. So you can just imagine how sad I was to think, "Man, my eyebrows are going to look bomb!" And then to be disappointed when I saw this. I really need to find a better place to get my eyebrows done. Honestly, I totally prefer waxing to threading. If you have any recommendations please share!! P.S. I know I didn't do a great job of fixing them, but I want to grow them out again soon. Another reason I was super bummed at the bad eyebrow threading is because my birthday is in a few days and I want to look good in the pictures. I don't really like wearing makeup, so having nice eyebrows is super important to me. So, I included two pictures. One right after she did my eyebrows, and one where I fixed them later at home. No makeup or product in either of these pictures. read more

I made a same day appointment for eyebrow threading. I was a little nervous in the beginning since I've never done eyebrow threading before. The lady was super nice and walked me through the process. It took around 15 minute to get them done. I really like the result. I told the lady that I wanted to go for natural soft curve and my brows turned out to be exact what I wanted. My messy hairs were all cleaned up and brows look neat than ever! It is $7 and I will definitely come back. read more
