THESE ARE THE WORST NAILS + CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVERY HAD. I WANT TO CRY. I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE NEGATIVE STARS. First the removal, all she did was soak my nails in hot acetone and then file them so rough. I kept flinching in pain and she NEVER checked in with me once. Then I paid for a Builder Gel set, yet all she did was paint a thin layer and file. She never built off of my nail and shaped it or anything. This was not even builder gel for all I know. She didn't do anything to my cuticles and just left skin there. The color she painted wasn't even close to the color I chose. It's hideous and she just painted over my bumpy "builder gel". I also thought it was weird that she didn't even let my nails cure until the light went off. She just kept switching them so fast. When she finished she didn't say a word so I wasn't even sure I was done until she got up and started cleaning her things. My nails are bumpy, the shape looking like a fcking triangle which is NOT what I asked for nor did she even ask what I wanted. I paid $70 for the ugliest, bumpiest, horribly painted, triangle looking nails. She did not ask if I liked it or anything because she probably knew I hated them and I'm sure she hated them also. I was the ONLY client there for the first half of my service so there was no reason for rushing and I would assume she would be able to do her best, considering there wasn't any clients before or after me. I came here twice. The first time I was charged $35 for a regular gel manicure with French tip so I came back this second time and my total went from $35 to $56 all because I asked for two nails to be fixed they also charge me an extra $10 for the French tip. I will never come back here again. I don't like it when you get overcharged and they don't tell you beforehand how much they're gonna charge you! I had both a manicure and pedicure done here, and it was a very disappointing experience. When I checked in, I specifically told the front desk that I only wanted a regular pedicure ($25) and a gel manicure ($35), which should have totaled $60. Instead, I was charged $70 because the nail tech added a callus removal service without explaining that it would be extra. I assumed it was included in the regular pedicure, especially since it wasn't even done properly. On top of that, this was my first time getting gel nails, and they chipped the very next day. Gel manicures are supposed to last weeks, not less than 24 hours. To make matters worse, the nail techs doing my services were in a noticeably grumpy mood, which made me feel unwelcome, like they didn't even want to be there. I've been to this spot multiple times, but this last visit was the final straw. I got Gel-X nails and two nails fell off within one week. The following week, another nail lifted and came off. Clearly cheap glue -- my nails usually last a month at other places with no issues. I paid $160 after tip for a mani and pedi, and they didn't even use the color I picked. When I went back, they couldn't find the shade and it wasn't the one I chose. They get 2 stars only because the lady I saw was kind each time and didn't charge me to fix the third nail that fell. Unfortunately, my experience felt rushed. I came in with my 12-year-old niece and we got the exact same pedicure, with the only difference being that I needed gel polish removal. Logically, I should've finished a bit after her--but my technician was done way before hers. Even my niece commented that it looked like my tech was racing her tech, which says a lot coming from a 12-year-old! I paid $89 total for my service only but I honestly didn't feel it was worth it. My polish was uneven, with missing spots, debris stuck to my nails, and thick streaks and buildup that will likely peel off quickly. On a positive note, my niece's pedicure came out great! I wish I had gotten the name of her technician to give her credit--she was thorough and professional. I came in a month ago for a gel manicure and left with my nails brittle and broken. I asked for them to be rounded, but they were done square. I even went back the next day to get them fixed (which I never do), and my nails were even worse the following day. I had been coming to this place for years, but I will not be returning. But what stood out for me for this place was there was always someone at the check in counter, she's friendly, always with a smile and she remembers the clients that frequent the salon. I went in and asked for The price of two gel manicures for little girls ages 8 and 6. The receptionist rolled her eyes pulled out the brochure and pointed to me the price of $13 in their kid section. I said ok $13 each for gel manicure she said yes. The girls decided to get a design each which the receptionist again said they could do. When we asked the manicurist they both complained. One did it and the other said it was too hard get a sticker. That really frustrated me because I asked specifically if they could do this if not we would go elsewhere (one wanted hearts the other wanted soccer ball design (black hexagon and lines). We settled fur what they offered as I went o pay my total was $67. When asked why she said did the gel manicure and design. I reminded her she had told me $13 plus design. She said yes for girls under 10, I said yes one is 8 and the other 6. She then asked her box proceeded to tell me that the gel manicures $27 plus design which was painful because I had a set budget. She said that that was the price and I told her she needed to do better because they had told me one price and then charged me 2x as much. I didn't want to embarrass me daughters and honestly didn't gave any fight left in me but I am truly upset and saddened e that they took advantage. Will never return, lesson learned. They reminded me why I had stopped going there to begin with, no need for their shady vibe. read more
