This is a fairly new place in a nice, brand new strip mall near my little sister's home. I've been here 4 times to get mani-pedi's with my sister and niece and sometimes my Mom comes along. They give you complimentary wine, soda or water during your treatment, which is a nice touch. The salon is really beautiful, tastefully decorated and very clean. They sanitize all of their instruments in machines within view of the pedicure stations and they use plastic covers for the pedicure bowls. I REALLY appreciate a nail salon that makes cleanliness a priority and it's more rare than you would think. I'm super particular about nail salons being clean (a little more particular than most people, but I stop short of being obnoxious, I swear!) and I will continue to give this place my business because they are so clean. I have purchased gift certificates for gifts here as well. We made appointments since there were 4 of us and we wanted to sit in the pedi chairs next to each other and everything went very smoothly. Not everyone speaks English, but there are plenty of others that do and they translate for you if you have a manicurist that isn't fluent in English. Other than that, I've never had any issues here. I have visited this salon many times but today had an awful experience. Even after alerting the owner, she chose to make excuses and not take any accountability. I will be going to a different salon from now on. The nail tech was trying to get extra acrylic out from under my nails when she was done. After using the drill many times, she got a cuticle trimmer out and cut the skin under my nail making it bleed. She got the drill on my skin all of the way around my nail bed making me very sore afterwards. I did tell her it hurt while it happened. She cut my long real nails down so short they are even with my finger tip. I also left there with white acrylic all over my nails. She didn't speak very good English so we had a hard time communicating. Before I left I told the owner, but she just told me I should have made an appt with someone else. She was really rude and also said she was sure the nail tech verified the length with me- which isn't true. Once she did two nails super short, I couldn't exactly say anything at that point. I left there very upset. As the salon owner she should have made it right. I won't be back. read more

Never have i ever in my 19 years of going to the nail salon have i ever walked out in literal tears from how bad the service/quality was. I just recently moved from California and i was the girl to always have my nails done. So moving here i wanted to go try a place out, I see this place and the reviews are really good so i think why not try it right? WRONG!! So shortly after a man comes up to me asking what design or color i want, i respond saying a simple short french tip. As he is doing my nails he asks what shape i would like, i say "sharp SKINNY square" . So i guess in his mind that means fat coffin? anyways i just let him do his thing bc normally i am fine with my nails as long as they look nice. He starts doing the french tip design and oh my. I should've stopped him there but i was scared (my fault). he had to redo it a couple times bc he wasn't understanding i wanted the thin french tip...I notice that when he is putting the white it's not fully spreaded out and he isn't fixing it so i say "by any chance do you have a clear glitter we could add on top?" he says yes and thank goodness i asked that bc without this glitter anyone with clear vision could see this horrendous job.THEN HE SAYS THE PRICE IS $80 !!!!!!!?!?These nails are by far the WORST nails i've ever gotten. I honestly could've done better myself. First pic is what i SHOWED/ asks for the rest are what i got. Not to mention back home, i would get three times the length, three times the difficulty of the design and never has it ever come close to this amount. I had a fabulous experience today getting a pedicure. I relocated from Florida recently and haven't found a local place for a pedicure. I happened to find a fb post for this salon so I dropped in as a walk in today ( Saturday ). Understanding that I probably would have to wait it was a minimal wait time. The receptionist was fabulous keeping us informed on how long the wait would be. My wait maybe was 10 minutes...not bad at all for a Saturday am. I was seated and promptly asked if I would like a beverage. I did soak for about 10 more minutes which was totally fine with me until my nail tech was available. My nails came out fabulous and the experience was awesome. I do think the prices were inline with a bigger city pricing but for the service I was ok with it. Not good at all. I have given this place multiple chances but today was the last straw. The tech was insanely rude from the start. She ripped off my old tips after I told her not to and when I said that it hurt she got irritated with me. I let it go and let her start on the acrylics. She did a very thin layer and then started to shape them. Almost every nail is uneven and again, I asked her nicely if she could even them up, and again, she got mad and started using the file very aggressively. I went here for years, however my last few times as a customer were unpleasant. The time before last she broke off the tip that she was gluing on and seemed irritated and tried to reglue it. It was not staying and I left with a gap in my thumb. There was a hole between the tip and my nail for the duration of wear of the nails, which felt DISGUSTING. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The most recent time my mother and I went she got a full set of acrylics and they looked terrible. She was done with her nails in 30 mins and the nails were crooked and lumpy looking. Everyone there is so kind and considerate. They really take their time to make sure your nails are perfect. I made an appointment for a medi pedi for 3 o'clock. They did not inform me they were closing on the day of my appointment at 4. They did both services at the same time. My nails are already breaking and my hair is already getting caught in the nail. They've been on less then a week. The person who did my pedicure left the bottom of my feet rough and now the heels are cracked and they hurt. I would never go here again. For what this place charges, I expected better service and a better result. I would never go back here and definitely would not recommend it . read more

With all of the very good reviews I've seen about Glam, i really wanted to share in that. Sadly for me, Glam is NOT my nail salon, nor will it ever be it would appear. I've gone there three times and have only been served once. Despite my effort to make an appointment for a pedicure today, I was told i didn't need one and then when i arrived, there was a large group of people waiting to be helped and then in walked me. I showed up at 4 like i said i would, but now, i have to wait because they're busy and i don't have an appointment. Here's the thing about serving the public, what may be ok for Mary, may not be ok for Denise. And, if you, as a business that serves the public, want to keep your customers happy and returning, it makes sense to remember that what is ok for one client, may not be ok for ALL CLIENTS. Maybe Mary has NOTHING to do all day and can wait until you get around to her. I, personally, do not like waiting around at someone else's mercy. That's why i make appointments. The minute she told me I didn't need one, i should have known it was destined to go wrong. So, again, I did not get service. That's twice out of three attempts. I guess the moral of the story is just assuming it's ok to keep your customers waiting is poor customer service. Ironically, in the meantime, i read a review where someone showed up late and the tech took another client, so she lost her spot and then was treated poorly. So they won't wait for you, but you should wait for them. I am a good customer, i tip well. That said, in these times, at these prices, i am entitled to SERVICE and a little pampering. Sadly, as with most of these places, the dollar is evidently way more important than keeping customers happy. I understand you work to make money, we all do, but if simple customer service is not in your wheelhouse, maybe do something where you're not serving the public. Here's the thing, i show up on time, if i am going to be late, i communicate that. I WILL NEVER KEEP YOU WAITING, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the same from somebody I'm paying to provide a service. My wife, has gone to Glam boutique since it opened and even prior to that she has gone to Chi Chi for a total of 10 years. I have personally been to Glam boutique several times with her. My wife has referred approximately 40-50 individuals to this place including her family and taken our kids there. Yesterday she was 8 minutes late because of a patient emergency to which she texted the she'd be a few minutes late and ChiChi had already taken another customer. My wife had gone out of her way to schedule with Chichi because she had had prior nail damage and had gotten a fungus from another technician at glam boutique. Chi initially chastised her claiming that she was 12 minutes late and then made her wait for 25 minutes to get a manicure that was rushed and incomplete, and then belittled her by dismissing her into a pedicure chair and telling her that she would not be doing her pedicure but somebody else would even after my wife Protested and proceeded to put her with inexperienced personnel who actually drilled her toe nails down and caused pain and damage. When my wife protested then she was actually bullied by staff there including the owner! I could not believe it. I have only written one more review before in my life (which was a glowing review of our babies pediatrician who is amazing by the way- Dr Ajayi) but since my wife is too nice and refuses to write anything negative about this place despite being grossly mistreated and having suffered both physical and psychological injury at the hand of the owner and 2 staff members, I feel compelled to bring this out. She is CEO of a major business in town, and given her life to the service of others but a staff atGlam boutique, who we do not know, loudly, in front of everyone present at Glam boutique berated my wife stating that Breanna has no reason to protest being treated this way saying "if you're late- You WAIT.' Then started chastising her for wait times in healthcare, That individual apparently was unhappy with our Clinic and took it upon themselves to act in a punitive manner against Breanna. Breanna tried to explain medical waits can be due to life threatening emergencies we deal with and that Breanna has utmost respect for nail salon and is in no way diminishing the importance of work they do that Glam boutique staff member loud stated " I know who you are, I know your Clinic and you have 1-2 hours wait time and you can sit here 20 minutes " and that individual actually came and harassed Breanna repeatedly. The staff member was mocking my wife saying how her Google reviews discuss wait times and proceeded to lecture her for five minutes on end to the point that the other owner of the company, who by the way is an incredibly nice man and has never been anything but dignified and respectful, had to send the belligerent employee to do something else, When It was clear that Breanna was being deliberately targeted and bullied and punished by staff of Glam Boutique for a specific staff member there being unhappy with our business. She then told her to go elsewhere because they were busy enough now that they didn't need long-standing customers. The staff who drilled inappropriately and caused damage to Breánna's nails was super nice but appeared no older than 17 years old and it's hard to believe how that person could be licensed for the services that person was performing. When my wife was in pain The belligerent staff member again came over and said 'oh your nails are like that from before from all the walking you did out of town I saw your nails before and they were already cracked from walking on your trip.' My wife explained that she had not yet gone out of town, and that they had in fact done her nails the last time a few weeks prior. A nicer technician walked up and said that her nails had not been like that but that the drill had been used in excess and damaged the nail beds and attempted to fix them. At this point she had been there for 2 hours +. I feel compelled to warn the public about this place. read more

My daughter started going here with friends and was most of the time had a good experience. Her last visit however, just before Christmas was so sub par that I want to share so others don't lose their money and find a better place to go. She took an inspiration pic which I will attach, and I'll show her nail photos that they sent her out the door with. She had cuts on 5 fingers and was bleeding when she walked out of the door. Multiple nicks on five fingers and the older gentleman that had filed her nails down to the quick (again see the photo). I notified the company immediately and they apologized for the lack of quality and told her to come back at no charge to have them redone. I told them that her nails were filed so low and she was bleeding that I would wait until she healed, making sure no infection is present before returning. When I contacted them again, they told me that they only do repairs within a couple of days and would not be redoing her nails. So if you choose to go to this salon, do not get the older gentleman, be advised that you should get someone else to perform the nail service. And this business has poor customer service. Never did they say the redo needed to be done within a few days. I would've said no anyway due to the state of her nails, which I included photos to them as well. I really wanted to like this salon. They seem to only want to do dip nails. I made my appointment for acrylic nails. When I arrived 2 people tried to talk me into doing dip instead of the acrylic I asked for. I guess I now know why, they are horrible at acrylics!
