I will spare you the whole traumatic experience, but to say the least - the years that followed I tended to only visit an optometrist when misguided vanity and accessibility to vision insurance allowed me to do so. Where Harwood meets 360, everything is blowing up, it seems. The sea of apartment complexes is parting just a bit for Dentists, Doc's offices, large gas stations, restaurants, nail bars, and this.brand new place as well. Vision Life OD, part of the Vision Source family. Convenient as could be, I stepped in just before the COVID crisis really took hold, and absolutely loved my experience. First, the receptionist team is just amazing. So friendly, and so so helpful. They understand the value of complementing someone that is struggling to make a decision. They are just wonderful. I was really appreciative of the practitioner as well. She walked through every bit of the test results, starting with why, explaining the implications and offering constructive feedback that will prompt a person to want to stay ahead of their eye health. She's a bit younger, and kind of has this cool vibe I really liked. Those receptionists WORKED to see what was covered and what wasn't. By the time I left they had unexpectedly discovered that I would get 1 years worth of lenses free, and a discount on my glasses. They have plenty of designer brands to chooses from, some expensive, some not so much. I went with a midrange pair of RayBan glasses. I really love them. The turn around was 12 days, but even with the d, it was 8 days. They are closed during this time, but you can call and schedule pick ups. I will absolutely be using this place for the foreseeable future.

I had a terrible experience with this location. After twice dealing on getting my glasses corrected…read morewith the prescription the lens and the frame were not correct. After returning them due to headaches it was the wrong prescription. Once returned from being corrected there were nicks on the inside of the frame and on one side of the lenses it was a bit up from what the other side was. When you would spray with the cleaner given to me it got in between the Lense and frame making it drip down my face before it dried in the lenses. After all I decided to get a refund, I paid 309.00 out of pocket yes, I agree with the 40.00 restocking fee charge but the other fees I paid for were not returned to me. Such as the 10.00 co pay, the 35.00 for the optomap, and 60.00 for the contact fit that is 105.00 that was kept by them. I have never heard of not getting refunded those fees restocking fee I understand that part. Very disappointed with the outcome. So after paying 309.00 out of my pocket I only get 164.00 I was excited to come here and it was upsetting. Then I was told I had to call my own insurance to tell them I had returned the glasses and so they can cancel the claim. I did and they were shocked to know that I the customer had to call them. I contacted the office multiple times seeking assistance and clarification about services and coverage. During each call, I remained polite and respectful. Unfortunately, the tone and manner in which I was spoken to felt dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I did not receive clear guidance despite calling several times, and the conversations felt focused only on payment rather than patient care and understanding. As a Medicaid patient, I left these interactions feeling judged and unwelcome. This experience was deeply upsetting and made me feel discouraged about seeking care through your location. No patient should feel uncomfortable or ashamed when trying to access medical services. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed. At minimum, I hope additional training can be provided to ensure all patients are treated with respect, fairness, and professionalism regardless of insurance type or background. So I ended up getting $400 frames for $350 instead of $300 for $350 as it was originally. In the end they made it right but lying to me about the lenses from the frames which became discontinued, not fitting into the Gen 2 was confirmed to be a lie. In the end it saved me $50 but cost me a months use. Lenses are like rentals. I lost a months life on them as they sat on a self.

DO NOT BUY YOUR GLASSES HERE…read more Although the eye doctors associated with this particular Pearle Vision are excellent, I highly suggest you take your prescription and go elsewhere to purchase your actual glasses and/or contacts. I previously had purchased my glasses from this Pearle Vision so when I got my eyes examined I went over to the shop to purchases my glasses. For 2 pairs of glasses it was going to be $900. This was for one pair of no line bifocals and one pair of reader glasses. Oh but wait, there's more. I also wanted to change out the lenses in my Maui Jim prescription sunglasses to match my new prescription. $750 just for the lenses and use my current frames. I went ahead and ordered the Maui lenses but decided to shop around for glasses. I happened into Costco that day and did you know they have an eye glass area? I didn't until that day. I got one pair of no line bifocals and one pair of reading glasses for $312. So basically 1/3 of what I would have paid. They don't do the Maui lenses so I was stuck with Perle Vision. Two weeks after I order the Maui lenses I call and ask if they're ready, nope. A month goes by, I call again, are they in yet, nope. This was on May 15th. Every time I get in the car I think, I sure wish I had my sunglasses. Today, June 7th, I call again and the sunglasses are there and they tell me they've been there for over a month! What? They said they had called and left a voicemail on May 3rd and May 28th. No they certainly did not as I have had 2 voicemails on my phone since April 26th and neither was them. I also have their number in my contacts and have had no missed calls from them. So I go to get my glasses and I speak to the manager who is evidently the owner of that store. She's pretty much like, oh well. Then I ask for the name of the district manager and she says she's is the DM and there's no one above her. She ended up giving me $50 off so they only cost me $700 for lenses with a lot of inconvenience. That is the absolute last time they will receive any money from me, ever!
