While the quality of care here is phenomenal, working here is a very different story. I suffered an…read moreextreme mental health crisis to the point where I wasn't even able to properly put in a two week notice, because the doctor is, in my informed opinion as a current psychology major, a borderline sociopath. He is wonderful to his patients, don't get me wrong. But if you wouldn't give your money to a doctor who constantly belittles his employees (not in a constructive criticism way, in a "you're a f***ing tranwreck" kind of way. Those were some of his exact words to me in my last days working there) then I wouldn't give your money to this one. The amount of times my coworkers and I have been reduced to blubbering, teary-eyed messes over his constant trash talk, and his manipulative way of pitting us against each other, is uncalled for. Working as a tech, I frequently had the misfortune of listening to him vent about how "dumb" his receptionist was, when in fact, according to my own observation, she was one of the more intelligent people who worked there. Anyway, I digress. Furthermore, he somehow had us all so deep under his spell that when I asked my coworkers if working anywhere else would be better, they all unanimously agreed that working for ANY doctor is like that. Now that I'm working at a different office in a different city altogether, the difference is truly night and day. I have NEVER been treated as poorly by any employer as I have by Dr. Noel, let alone cursed at, screamed at, used as a target for projectile eye-drop bottles, et cetera. With all of that being said, this is a review from a scorned ex-employee, so take it with a grain of salt. If the way someone treats their employees isn't a concern to you, that's great. But all of my words are truthful.

Loved there service very helpful and the Dr took extensive time to talk with me and make…read morerecommendations.

Ok, this is going to be kind of long. I had a glowing review up but I hastily took it down because…read moreof frustration. My initial review stated what an excellent appointment I had, Doctor was wonderful, everyone was very nice. I got home and checked my receipt and thought the contacts were a wee bit overpriced. Got online to check costs and whoa, they were overpriced by more than half. Now, stay with me here, they accidently ordered, and charged me for, two years instead of the one year supply I ordered. Told me to bring them back and they would refund the overcharge. I took them back but the girl at the desk said she couldn't refund my credit card because the general manager wasn't there and she had to do it. Ok fine, I'll take the contacts and come back, will she be here tomorrow? Yes, she will. The next day was a Saturday so I called first to make sure she was there but she wasn't. When will she be back? Monday. Ok, fine. I couldn't come back until Thursday so I again, called first. Is the GM in today? Nope, she only works at that location Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Well dang, I wish they would have told me that. So, getting more irritated and thinking "myeyedoctor" will no longer be my eye doctor, I emailed a customer service office that was offered on their webpage, told my story and was prepared to wait the 5-7 days stated as their possible wait time for a response. Lo and behold I was called back within a few hours! A super, super nice customer service rep (initials JM-D) was BEYOND helpful and courteous, I mean this is the person you want on your team. She asked if I could take them back and she would refund my credit card on her end and that's exactly what was done. When I went back to the office to drop off the contacts everyone was pleasant. My point in this epic review is, "myeyedoctor" is STILL my eye doctor! The customer service rep was AWESOME, I've never even met her and I love her. She made the whole thing right in short order. If all businesses handled their customers the way she did, the world would be a better place. HIGHLY, highly recommend!

I called and asked if they could still take me, and the woman said they wouldn't take me if I was 10 minutes late so I rushed on the road and happened to get there on time. I then waited 40 minutes to be taken back, and the front desk lady apologized twice for them taking so long. I said that I was very frustrated because I busted my butt to get over here and told me I wouldn't be seen to then have my time wasted. The girl who took me back said sorry for the wait, and they "HAD" to take this walk in. Are you kidding me?! I said it was not okay and she didn't have anything to say except sorry. The doctor came in and had tested my eyesight by having me look at a reflection of letters that were posted on an LED screen. I was not keen on my eyes being tested by the quality of a mirror, and I really did not like how it was posted on a screen. We look at blue light and screens all day, we know it's bad for our eyes, yet my eyes are being tested via looking at blue light. Last, I didn't think the doctor cared about my eye condition. He just said to take these eye drops, and didn't educate me on any other treatments when I asked for more information and treatment options. (I know there are more treatment options because my previous eye doctor mentioned them to me). I won't be coming back here. It was a waste of my yearly exam from my insurance and I was not happy about paying that co pay with this horrible experience.

I got my glasses filled elsewhere using the prescription they gave me, and I realized within just a few days that I still could not see clearly. The prescription simply wasn't right. I called Vista Eye to get the issue corrected, since it had only been one week since my exam. Instead of showing concern or offering to recheck the prescription, they told me I would need to pay another $60. I was shocked. I expected a clinic to stand behind the accuracy of its exam, especially within such a short time frame. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. The whole situation came across as more about collecting fees than providing patient care. I regret going here and I would not return. There are many optometrists in the Fort Worth / Keller / Timberland / Heritage area who are far more compassionate and supportive. If you value customer care and accuracy, I recommend looking elsewhere before choosing Vista Eye.
