First time her customer service was great!!! Food was really good!! You get to pick whatever you want, the hostess recommended to start with the meat portion and she was not wrong. You can fill the plates how much you want. Both of my kiddos under 5 ate FREE! Great place, Calm place music playing.

Three and a half but giving them an extra 1/2 star because the staff was so helpful, friendly, and engaged with all the customers. Seen The reviews about lack of cleanliness and not sure what or when this was the case because in the day we visited it was clean and tidy. We have never been here in all the years we have lived here and this is better than most other Asian inspired food in the area. The cost for the dinner for two was great and once you figure out the sauce and how to fill your bowls it is a lot of food. We liked the pork the best and it was just a neat process of watching your food being cooked and the "dance" that the cooks do on the flat wok....the place was packed and again the service was absolutely amazing.

They would have 2 bowls like 1 bowl for mixed vegetables & variety meats and another 1 bowl of noodles. They usually have one bowl all the time. They have a good service.

ALWAYS 5 STARS! We come here often and can honestly say it's always a great experience! Marissa is usually our server and she is very attentive and sweet! The food is fantastic every time! We love coming here right when they open and everything is all fresh! I highly recommend coming here for good food and great service!

Our noodle bowls that we conjured up, along with the egg flower soup, white rice, and some potstickers.....don't forget the Diet Pepsi.

I will happily recommend GK Mongolian BBQ to anyone looking for a hearty meal. I was happy to bring my hubby here for the first time for lunch, he is now excited to show it to his adult sons during dinner where it is ALL YOU CAN EAT for $16.95! (Lunch was $14.25 with only one plate) The drinks are extra. They did have alcohol but I am not a beer or wine drinker sooooo this doesn't appeal to me. They did serve PEPSI products- which appeals greatly! The server was extra attentive. Selected a table and got all the goodies lined up on the table while we made our noodle bowls. Speaking of which...let me walk you thru it. When you walk in, you are greeted by the server- he asks how many and your drink order. You go to the food items along the wall to the right upon walking in. There are gloves (use them!) And bowls. You start placing the proteins into your bowl (chicken, pork, and beef are standard- They have shrimp and crab for extra- you will need to ask) then move to the next section with noodles, fruits, and veggie options. Pile on whatever you want. Then round the corner to chose your sauce and seasoning oils, keep laddling until you are content. Now the cook (probably has a fancy name- sorry I don't know) will take your completed bowl & ask if you garlic powder on it while he places it onto the hot stone to cook. Then viola, it will be placed in a bowl and you are good to go eat- be careful, it's hot! For our lunch today there was 2 other tables. It was pretty quiet/chill. There were a couple Togo orders but overall looked consistent. It was a good meal. We will be back. Pro tip- bring some cash for the cook- he has his own little jar.

Lunch and a show!

They've got two picnic tables under tents and a small parking lot (about 10-12 spots), plus plenty of additional parking just across the street within easy walking distance. I ordered the 2-meat combo ($25) with brisket and ribs, choosing collard greens and baked beans for my sides. My wife ordered the tri-tip sandwich with yams and baked beans. They were cool enough to sell me a 1-meat plate instead of forcing the combo, which saved me a few bucks--and I appreciated that. There's a $1 credit card fee, which didn't bother me at all. My wife loved her meal and said it was a lot of food and everything tasted great. My brisket had a nice bark and a legit smoke ring. The ribs were tender and fell right off the bone. The baked beans were solid, but the collard greens really stood out--some of the best I've had at a restaurant. Prices are average for BBQ, portions are generous, and I had enough left over for dinner later. You can tell this is real BBQ--they've got a huge BBQ pit smoking meats, and it shows in the flavor. The BBQ sauce was very good. The two guys working inside were friendly, answered all my questions, and made ordering easy. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.

You can smell how good the food was just walking up to order, and eating only confirmed how DELICIOUS it was! Definitely a good value as well. I had the pulled pork slider with mac and cheese (collard greens were sold out) so I'll definitely be back to try those greens! Pulled pork was so tender and the bbq sauce was perfect. Mac and cheese wasn't overdone and hit the spot.

Come early or you get stuck in the heat. Orrrrr you end up not getting anything. The hours of operation are hard to nail down. Basically show up at 11 or you might not get food. Also days are the end of the week. The Brisket Sandwich - If this was the only thing I ordered this bbq would have been a 7 out of 5 stars. Hands down the best brisket I've ever had. Cowboy Corn - good corn, kinda like elote. I could have eaten it with chips. Needs a little more spice. Corn bread - warm and delicious. We got an edge. Ooohhh ahhhh. A little crisped. Definitely should be served with butter and honey though. Combo - Chicken - good seasoning, better with the sauce. Pulled pork - not salted. Definitely needs sauce when you enjoy. Mac and cheese - muah. Chef kiss. I'm not a big fan of mac and this stuff had me tempted to take it all for myself. Potato salad - excellent flavor good care. Red potatoes. Cooked to perfection. They definitely need to be cut into a little smaller pieces and boiled with a little saltier water. They were large bites that the dressing couldn't get all the way around. BBQ Sauce - I loved it. Thought it was great. With that being said I need to acknowledge it was spicy. My wife was on the edge and I would serve it to the kids. I'll be back!

This worked fine for us. We had our menus and drinks in a reasonable time, and had a relaxing time throughout. We both had the pulled pork sandwich along with the ice tea. I also had the cup of chili - nicely spiced). I enjoyed my sandwich (skipping the bun, as I am trying to limit carbs). My friend, whom I realized often fusses about the meals we share, was more critical. His comments were "Wrong bun, hamburger bun shoulda been an onion bun" and "How long does it take to make a sandwich?" (The wait time was totally reasonable to me.) He didn't like the potato salad (but ate it all with little time spared). He liked the meat in the sandwich, giving it a 5 out of 5. He liked the service less (I felt it was on point and just fine.) The "hamburger" was clearly made from frozen patties with no flavor or effort put into it. To make things worse, the waitress tried to charge me an extra $10 that wasn't even supposed to be on the bill. When I questioned it, the attitude was dismissive instead of apologetic. Bad food and questionable service -- definitely not worth the money.

Funny how the world works, I was looking to buy some strawberries but our usual stand was closed,…read more so headed over to 132 to check another strawberries stand .. yes beautiful local grown strawberries is there anything better? Well if you are living in Modesto , and have been looking for real BBQ and I mean REAL GOOD BBQ .. then my strawberry stand being closed sent me down 132 , so drove a bit further to take Dakota Ave. home .... And on the side of the road as we turned from 132 were wind flags calling me to stop and look around BBQ .. there to my left a small orange trailer just beyond a huge smoker .. to the trailer we went an array of BBQ fair listed on menu board ... now I have been looking for good bbq in Modesto for some time, and in my opinion There has been none since "My Sisters Kitchen " closed, there some good BBQ people serving the community, but seems to me no one really stood above the rest .. until now Biggityo's BBQ on Dakota Ave. we purchased 1/2 pound brisket and a full rack of pork ribs and a small Mac &cheese. WOW incredible? The brisket was flavorful tender and a generous 1/2 lb for sure, came with a small container of BBQ sauce sauce was good , nice spice but as my wife said not necessary... the meat was that good on its own. The Ribs , shiny meaty tender and so delicious, nice bite a bit of smoky goodness that did not over power the meat, sauced with just a whisper of a sweet and spicy sauce. This was the best BBQ I have had since my last visit to Rolling Smoke in Las Vegas, it used to be when asked I was going to Vegas to play pool , now when asked , I am going to Vegas for the BBQ. Now I am happy to say I can just stay in town to enjoy exceptional BBQ. It may be what's for dinner tonight too ..

Big Vic's has definitely improved since my last visit. The meat and barbecue are excellent, and I…read morereally enjoy that part of the meal. That said, I still feel the sides are subpar. I usually end up getting the cornbread because the other options don't really appeal to me. On today's visit, I also noticed the price for the sliders didn't match what was listed on the board. When I politely mentioned it to the cashier, she didn't respond or acknowledge it, which made the interaction feel awkward and dismissive. I wasn't trying to make an issue out of it; I was simply pointing out that the posted price should match what customers are charged. If the sliders are $8.78, put $8.78 on the board. If they're $8.24, put $8.24 on the board. It may seem minor, but inaccurate pricing can come across as careless or even dishonest, especially if it happens repeatedly. I also think the front register needs stronger customer service. The person at the register is representing the business, and when a customer brings up a legitimate concern, it should be acknowledged professionally. Having someone more mature or better trained handling checkout would make a big difference. Overall, the barbecue is moving in the right direction, but the sides, posted pricing, and customer service still need attention.
