I ordered the Forged Pizza, a Sicilian-style thick crust pizza, and it was excellent. The crust was perfectly baked--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside--with generous toppings and rich flavor. The portion size was more than enough, definitely a great value for how large the pizza was. I also tried the garlic knots, which were fresh, warm, and packed with flavor--great on their own or dipped in marinara. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting the new owner, who was there and incredibly friendly. You can tell the place is under new ownership in the best way--there's clearly a lot of pride and care going into both the food and the service. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Welcome to the Friday night pizza night review. Today takes me to a town called Avoca Pennsylvania where I came across Giuseppe's Pizzeria. Walking in I was greeted by the staff, I asked them if the dining room was open and they told me I can sit anywhere I like, and my server will be right out. Jumping ahead of the story I met Jimmy, I hope I have his name right, who is the owner and when I told him how I like to help promote local he was thrilled and excited I was there more. Ok, back to the review, I start out with the soup of the day, pasta fagioli. This was a very hot cup of soup loaded with not just pasta, but kidney beans and I am not quite sure what else. Right after my pizza arrives, now the "G" special is their version on a supreme pizza, I ordered that minus any olives. OMG this came out as you can see in the video packed with a lot of flavor and goodness. This was like Christmas day for your mouth, all those wonderful flavors and new tastes with each bite. Now mind you I did not eat it all, I brought my last 4 cuts home in a box. I do want to get back there and try some of their Italian dinners. Definite recommendation for all to come and check out. Ordered a square pizza. Thinking it would be just the same size as any place else. But it is literally half the size. I've never seen such a small pizza in my life . It had very little cheese on it so all it was was dull and sauce with the sprinkle of cheese. $17 for garbage definitely will not order from here again read more

This is a great little pizzeria. 5 stars awarded as compared to similar restaurants, not fine dining establishments with linen service. We were looking for a light mid-day meal and elected to split the Cheesesteak Italiano. It was superb. Bonus for the Christmas holiday season: the dining area is decorated fabulously. My clients picked this spot for lunch and called in the order. I asked for the tuna sandwich to be added for myself. When I arrived I parked in this small lot. I walked in and was greeted. The food was ready and I paid and left. When I dropped off the items they noticed the missing pizza that they charged me for. The driver came over right away to drop it off. When I ate the sandwich was very big. It was tasty and I ate as much as I could. All in all I had a decent experience. read more

Catering order was only 2 trays of penne ala vodka for the local hockey team, and Giuseppe's did an outstanding job! The person that took my order was pleasant, the delivery driver was on time and courteous, and the entire team raved about the food. We will definitely order again! read more

Ordered 2 large pizzas, which were higher than the price listed on menus because they didn't update the prices, and was not impressed. Staff wasn't very friendly, didn't even tell me how long it would be until my order was done so headed over and had to ask how long it would be after waiting a bit. They seemed to be too distracted by the Discover NEPA girl that was there. The cheese was very tough, as well as the crust, with hardly any sauce on it. It tasted very salty as well. I should have told them nevermind when they said it was 32 bucks when the menu said 12.95 not 15! read more

This was my first time eating from this restaurant. I ordered a medium red pizza thin and crispy with pepperoni and mushrooms. I left my hotel the Best Western by the airport immediately after calling in my order and by the time I got there which was about 10 to 12 minutes it was being put in the box and cut. It was a very good pizza. Exactly as I ordered it. It was thin and crispy just how I like it. The girl who took my order was very new to the job. I believe she just started that day but she was very nice and did her job as though she had been doing it for ever. She had a helper there with her to make sure she ran my card correctly and he was also very nice. The cook who made pizza obviously has made many many pizzas before. Also seemed very nice. The restaurant seemed very clean and if I would have had more time I might have actually sat down to eat because it had a very comfortable atmosphere. I would recommend this place and if I ever come back I would definitely eat here again. read more

Hoagies are amazing. Best Buffalo chicken cutlet I ever had. Delivery was quick and food was fresh.

I love this place but lately it's been a little unprofessional. The woman who answered the phone had a screaming baby strapped to her. She's a bit rude too. I've never had an issue with anyone else. I get it's hard to find childcare but it's really not somewhere a baby should be. I rather not have baby spit in my food. It's a shame I really love the food but not with that kind of service. read more

Giuseppe's pizza was very yummy, tried the regular pizza-very very good. The sweet sauce was good but preferred the regular sauce, we also picked up Meatballs but they lacked flavor. I would recommend pizza...you won't be disappointed. read more
