Caleb was receptive to my asks. He found the irrigation control valve leak fast and was able to fix it to my satisfaction. The cost of work was also very genuine. Would 100% recommend him to anyone having landscaping needs. read more

Caleb and his team were phenomenal. They were kind and very thorough. I absolutely will use them again.

Giraffe Tree Service did an amazing job. The crew worked together with the efficiency of a finely tuned Nascar pit crew. Everyone had a job, and everyone executed their part. I had three huge oak trees needing extensive pruning. The team knew what they needed to do and executed the work according to their plan. The crew arrive early in the morning, and were done by sunset. The trees were trimmed, cuts sealed, branches ran through the chipping machine, and everything hauled away. The yard ,and street, were cleaned up leaving no signs of Caleb's team having been here. I now have plenty of light in the front yard allowing me to see the front yard . . and now that I can see the front yard, I am on Caleb's schedule for much needed landscaping. I'm hesitate using a service that doesn't have a web platform for reviews. Giraffe Tree Service has reviews which were all old, but good reviews. I highly recommend Giraffe services and I will be utilizing their services going forward. Caleb was a pleasure. read more

Giraffe Tree & Landscaping Services recently came out and did some work in our backyard to clear out a lot of dead tree limbs and brush. The backyard had been mostly ignored for several years and this summer we are cleaning it up. We could not have done it without their help. Caleb came out initially to take a look and gave us a fair quote. He was very easy to communicate with in person and via email. We scheduled the job and his crew came out and did an AMAZING job. They honestly did more than we were expecting, especially cleaning up at the end. We now have our backyard back! Thank you Giraffe Landscaping! read more

I needed some trees removed from my front and back yard and they arrived early in the morning and cut down and removed all tree trimmings the same day! Highly recommended!!! read more

Giraffe Tree did a great job to fix my front yard stump removal, leveling up my flower bed, and planing beautiful flowers to grow fast in there. I had a hard time to find an available & reliable service, they they came on promised time, and finished the work in timely manner. I would certainly work with them again, highly recommended! read more

Caleb and his team took care of the backbreaking work on our lawn and yard maintenance due to the hailstorm.

I should have believed the reviews, I made an appointment and they never showed! Even messaged that it's been over an hour and didn't hear a peep. read more

Needed to repair sprinkler heads, pipes and electric valve. Caleb and his men did a great job. Inspected and fixed all non-working heads, valves within 2hrs. Very reasonable pricing too. read more

I used Giraffe Landscaping in February 2023 after an ice storm in Austin caused several large tree branches to fall at my house. Despite being a very busy time for landscaping & tree service companies Caleb and his team responded right away. They were able to provide a quote within a day of me providing the necessary information and came back to complete the job within a week (They removed the broken branches, fixed the cuts on the trees, raised the canopy and trimmed trees away from the house). Due to an accounting mix-up I ended up paying twice & Caleb refunded the extra payment within minutes of me asking. Will definitely use for future projects! read more

Avoid. These guys are really unresponsive. Two weeks ago they gave me a quote and I asked when can we start, crickets... Followed up again to schedule visit, but no response. If these guys are serious they need to stop ghosting people and respond. read more

Caleb and his team did an outstanding job trimming our trees after the recent ice storm. His team pulled out the partially broken branches, trimmed everything back and made sure the large limbs did not hit the house, fence, etc. Then they came and hauled everything off and cleaned up the yard - looks great! We had previously used a national tree service that was disappointing. Never again, we will be going to Giraffe Tree & Landscaping for all their services. Thanks guys, great job! read more

Setup a consult and never showed, called or responded to message. Disappointed as they were very responsive when setting up the consult.

Caleb set an appointment to come give a quote - didn't show. Said afterward was too busy. Apparently too busy to let me know in advance. Set a new appointment. No one ever showed. Guess business is booming and they don't need to be polite. Good for them. I wasted time arranging work to be at home. I'm about ready to give up on Yelp, as the ratings appear to be less and less accurate with each passing month. Sad. read more

Caleb and his crew were so helpful in clearing and replanting sod and plants in our front and backyard after the 2021 freeze. He set our appointment, showed up on time, and gave me a very fair quote. His team was friendly and very attentive to detail. I ran into Caleb at the nursery while picking out plants and he walked around with me, helping me to decide what to buy, despite the fact that he was there for another job that day. They now do our weekly yard maintenance and they're equally as good. Can't recommend them enough! Wonderful company. read more

The winter storm in Austin TX in Feb 2023 caused lots of tree damages. Tree companies were swamped, voice mail boxes full, no returns to device calls. Tree cutting price also skyrocketed. After a dozen calls, leaving voice mails, I was surprised that I was able to get connected to a live person 'Celeb', the owner of Giraffe Tree and Landscaping Services. Of course his quote was just as high everybody else. But when I called him back asking him to match one competitor's bid, he was very reasonable and accepted the request. I then decided to select Celeb's company based on two reasons: licensed and fully bonded (which is important for operating with chainsaw), and the way he described to me about cleaning and sealing the branches after cutting to help for regrowing (sounds more professional than some of the quotes of just cutting the beaches). One day before he was scheduled to do the job, I got a call from another company quoting me for 40% of his price, which made me hard not to investigate into the details. I texted Celeb explaining the situation and asked him to give me one week to look into that quote further. Celeb was very understandable and professional, he pulled me off the work list that night before the job start, without any complaints and upsetting. One week later, after investigating and making more calls into that bidding companies with no answers, I realized that company was either a fake or not trustworthy, I went back to Celeb giving him my verdict and asking him to put me back on the job list. He was very responsive and immediately put me to his next week queue. The workers came finished the work, they came again based on feedbacks and Celeb himself came out even the third time to make the job perfect! He is just so professional and customer centric! I was very glad that I picked him as my contractor. And at last, he pleasantly surprised me and gained my respect even more, when I made a mistake Zelle him $2500 more. He immediately acknowledged the extra payment and within minutes he zelled me back the the money. I was so thankful for having such a honest person as my contractor, as I was very scared the moment I made the mistake and worried if it would be hard or even if I can ever get it back! Again it proved important to do business with trust worthy company and company that is properly registered and doing long term local business. I am very happy with his work and the way they treat customers. I told Celeb that I would do all my future landscaping work with him! He has got a loyal customer here! read more

I wish I could leave ten stars! I needed two trees trimmed before I have my fence replaced so that the fence builders had some headroom. I sent out several yelp estimate requests. Caleb replied very quickly and offered to visit my house two days later to look at my trees. In the meantime I had received several estimates based solely on the picture I included with my estimate request. Two days later, Caleb not only sent me an estimate that was well below others I was getting, he said he was in my area and could get to it THAT day. The price could not be beat. I was at work, so I sent him the money online and told him to feel free to access my yard. When I got home, the trees looked great, but they were not totally what I had in mind. I sent a message to Caleb. He called me first thing the next morning and was so kind. He offered to send out his crew that morning. They came back and not only perfectly trimmed the two trees again, but ALSO gave another very large tree a nice trim at no charge. Wow. Talk about service AND ensuring you have repeat business. The crew members were very polite and left my yard so clean, you could barely tell there was any trimming going on. As long as I have trees, he will have my business. read more

Caleb and his crew went above and beyond in their work. I had a complete landscape overhaul including: removing a weed and rock filled front and back yard, installing an irrigation system in front and back yards, laying sod, installing hardscape in the front yard, laying new concrete sidewalk, and installing large potted planters with drip systems. Caleb and his crew worked efficiently, met deadlines, and came in on budget. Plus, his crew was friendly, responsive, and made sure my husband and I were happy with their work all along the way. I cannot say enough good hints about them. read more

Regardless how busy one may be, it is very poor customer service to not respond to inquiries made.

I have used these guys multiple times, hard workers and very reliable. Caleb and his team did a great job on my trees that are 30+ years old. These are my guys I trust with the job, if you want it done right call these guys. read more

Caleb and team did a great job!! We highly recommend and we will be quoting more work very soon. We needed sprinklers and a side area to be reset after implementing a pool. They submitted a very fair quote, so we decided to engage in the work. Sprinklers and side area came out very well, so we offered more work to redo the rest of the backyard. Another very fair quote and they did a great job - see pictures for some of the work. They ended up doing 4+ zones, installing a smart sprinkler system, laying decomposed granite, composite borders around most of the backyard, mulch, moved several very large rocks, resetting a small rock area, redoing sod most of the backyard and installing a new 15' tree in the back. (Think I covered everything but just a few words don't do the final job justice) We love it all, thank you team!! read more

We arrived home just after 5pm to find our irrigation system flooding our front yard. The only option was to turn off the water main to the house and call for help. Caleb responded to our 1st call, dispatched a crew and repairs were underway by 6pm. They quickly located the issue and capped the main so we would have water to our home until parts could be located in the morning. A crew returned in the morning, and all repairs completed promptly. Even the grass was laid back in place. This was our 2nd time using Giraffe for irrigation repairs and we will definitely use them again! read more

I have a small front yard which has been full of weeds and patches of dirt. Called Caleb and he gave me a quick estimate. Told him I wanted sod and a crushed Granite walkway and Caleb said "yes sure". After Caleb and his crew had prepared the yard and laid all the edging I told him I changed my mind and gave him a different layout and Caleb again said "yes sure". I didn't even realize that they had already moved my sprinkler heads to accommodate the original layout but they just redid it all again. They were professional and my front yard looks fantastic. I would use Caleb and his crew again and I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing their services. read more

5 star experience from first phone call to the completed job! Caleb had such great communication throughout the whole process and he spent so much time and detail making sure the trees and shrubs were exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be calling them for future jobs and we highly recommend them! read more

They really did a great job on cleaning up the storm damage from that ice storm we had. They also trimmed back the trees to prevent it from happening again. It was a good size job. I would definitely recommend them to work on your house or office building. They do good work and come out when they say they are coming. The crew that came out to our house where really nice and cleaned the work areas around the yard as well. read more

I hired Giraffe after another local company and I got into an argument about billing. Giraffe seemed to have a lot of positive reviews. I gave them the list of all of the services the other company did. He came in about $50 cheaper so I thought I would give him a shot. The crew came out at the end of the day while my family was out, but I watched on my Ring cam what was happening. One employee smoked heavily near my front door and flicked ashes everywhere. Another raced around in a riding mower and someone was blowing stuff around with a leave blower. It felt like they were trying to be an Indy pit crew, however they were so focused on speed, they completely missed my backyard, didnt do any weeding or edging, basically they were there about 5-7 minutes and then they left after doing a bad job. I contacted Caleb to let him know that I was expecting better service and he told me he would have his crew come out again the next day to fix it. Once again, they showed up after we left and I watched what happened. And again, they raced around trying to get stuff done as fast as possible without actually hitting the requirements. And they were on the ground literally 5-7 minutes (and I have at least a 1/3rd of an acre). I finally decided that it wasnt going to work out and contacted Caleb to stop and that we were not happy. His answer was a glib "ok". No apologies or attempts to right it. He sent me a bill for $100 for mowing and premerge service. I told him there was no way his crew was here long enough to apply premerge. If you are looking for a landscaping service, pass this one and find someone else. read more

Caleb and his crew are fantastic. They did a great job removing 2 large trees from my front yard; one of the trees was on top of 2 roofs and it was removed with such ease and professionalism. I was quiet impressed on how they worked together as to not let any limbs hit either roof. He is honest, dependable, knowledgeable and very reasonable on his prices. He and his crew worked quickly, efficiently and made sure all debris was removed from the premises. I would highly recommend Caleb and his crew! He did an amazing job and would hire him again. read more

Completely amazing job done by giraffe tree service, I could not be any happier with there service and professionalism. I asked to keep the oak branch they cut off so I can use for my BBQ pit and they ask me if I wanted to have the branches cut into smaller pieces :) I said hell yeah and they were happy to do that for me. Had a tree that needed planting in a spot where another 25' tree had been struck by lightening a year ago and was cut down. A few weeks ago I tried planting another around the same spot but couldn't get through the roots. Finally decided it was a job for a pro and called around for bids. While most companies were telling me it'd be a week just to come out and bid, Giraffe was out the next day and did a great job for a reasonable price.
