But honestly, every time we've been, the food has been very delicious. They have some of the best fried chicken around, and at a buffet price of $15.99, getting all-you-can-eat chicken is a really good deal if you go for that alone. The chicken wings are also very good! Another favorite of mine is getting the steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions when they have them, along with the garlic Parmesan shrimp. Of course, the fried zucchini is another favorite, and so is the fried okra. We also love going to the salad bar and getting lemon and cucumber to add to our water. And we always ask for a cup of coffee at the end of the meal to enjoy with our pie. My favorite is the chocolate chess pie, while my husband's favorites are the pecan or blueberry. And then let's talk about the tamales. They're not fancy tamales, but they're actually really good! Another little hack: they have chicken salad on the salad bar. Get some of that with crackers, and honestly, if you ate just that, you've gotten your money's worth. And just in case anyone was wondering, all of these pictures are from multiple trips -- not one very ambitious buffet visit! If you're looking for a good meal at a good value, I highly recommend it. You're going to pay $15 at McDonald's for absolute trash, and I would much rather have a meal like this instead.
