An inviting bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown Mount Sterling with excellent cuisine. Romeros is a place to meet and eat that you will truly enjoy. I highly recommend.

Brownie for desert. It has chocolate chips and peanut butter.

Relaxed, inviting and intimate atmosphere. Alex our waitress was very pleasant and helpful with the menu. She made wonderful suggestions. The breaded ravioli was shockingly mesmerizing and came with 2 distinct sauces to try. The salad (forgot to take a photo) was an amazing mix of greens that had me wishing I'd gotten a large salad. The lemon caper salmon was phenomenal. Spaghetti noodles in a very light sauce topped with salmon that was not too fishy, capers and more sauce. The brownie was a delight. Soft and mouth melting, topped with a creamy icing and peanut butter drizzle along with chocolate chips. My husband had the piccata and was also delighted. We will definitely be back to try other flavors.

Alex makes the best Blackberry Margaritas!

Be sure to try the baked spaghetti with wonderful homemade Italian sausage. This is a family owned and run business. The service is superb! Everyone is so friendly and cheerful. You are greeted as if you are family. That made me feel as if I'd come back my hometown Chicago. I would love to have a family reunion here because it is a cozy place with a friendly crew. No pictures because I am too excited to eat.

Both dishes were hot, flavorful and served with good bread. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were just right. We both finished our meals and were full. The restaurant is small, seating about 25-30 people comfortably when full. There were two waitresses working, both of whom were very cordial and friendly. Important note about location: if you have an iPhone, maps will not take you to the right place as of November 2025. The current location is at the corner of Danville Street and S Baughman St. It's down Danville Street from the Subway in the town square.

Unfortunately my dad wasn't in the mood for pizza because he loves their fettuccini alfredo. So I took a quick poll from some surrounding patrons and ordered a Stromboli. (spaghetti was a close second, so I have to return for both pizza AND spaghetti!) The restaurant is large and provides lots of seating in tables or booths. I was informed on Friday and Saturday allow for some wait time to be seated. But since I went on a Tuesday afternoon we were seated right away. Our server was very nice and attentive. The dining area and pick up counter were immaculate. The menu was double sided, one side devoted to various pizza options and appetizers. The back of the menu was pasta dishes and sandwiches. There were salads and dessert options as well. Everything looked and sounded delicious. My dad's fettuccine looked great, he ordered a small size portion that looked very generous. He also had cheese and garlic breadsticks that looked wonderful. The Stromboli was excellent. It came fully loaded and had ruffles style potato chips as a side. It was an average size sandwich compared to what you might get at a subway sandwich place, but it was enough and it was very tasty. I will definitely return for pizza, when I told my neighbor we had lunch at Leono's his face lit up and he asked "did you get a pizza?!" when I said no he looked disappointed in me. I assured him it was on my list and he invited himself to go with me. Try them out- you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The pasta is cooked to perfection and very rarely, is the pasta overcooked. The portions are substantial and the prices are well below the chain Italian restaurants.
