I order from here regularly. Great food, great service, the delivery is always on time. Cheese sticks are awesome as advertised, and the dinner for two is a great selection, reasonably priced. For the money this is the best delivery/carry out pizza. Breadsticks are also delicious with numerous dipping sauces to choose from, and they give you plenty. Highly recommend! Not a sit down establishment only takeout and delivery. read more

I've been a loyal customer for over 8 years, and sadly, tonight was my final straw. Over the years my reward points were never accumulate, even though I brought it up multiple time times. I've received cold pizza on several occasions and when I reported it; I was told I would be credited but that credit never happened. I've also been given wrong orders more than once. Tonight when I called to order a simple large cheese pizza, the person who answers was rude and hung up. This experience made it clear I will never and I mean never order from Mad Mushroom again: find a better and more professional place to order a damn pizza. this place should be put out of business. Sincerely, A dissatisfied and VERY disappointed customer read more

Limited for time I wandered in here because the neighboring Thai Restaurant was randomly closed. Super nice person stood happily waiting for the next customer. Don't plan on dining-in because there is no seating. Looked like at one time there had been limited seating at the window bar counter. No stools now. One small bench. As I was alone, I ordered the Italian grinder. It is dressed with lettuce, tomato, and Mayo only. He offered Italian dressing on the side. So thoughtful!I added onions and banana peppers. That said, the sandwich was ready in a jiffy. I was pleasantly surprised. The bread was okay. No real flavor. Barely stood up to the meat and cheese which were very good. The sandwich along with the meat is toasted. The Italian Dressing on the side was a packet of Ken's brand lite. Disappointing. Super glad I added the banana peppers. Overall, I should have ordered pizza as they seem to have great reviews for that. read more

Mad Mushroom Pizza - Italian Grinder - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

Today Mad Mushroom offered free cheese sticks. The cashier was very friendly and even though this was a free event, I received my cheese sticks I a reasonable amount of time. The cheese sticks are very greasy, but they are great. I honestly was only able to 2 due to the grease. Some people like this, but they went heavy on the garlic butter. Great marketing tool. read more

Mad Mushroom Pizza - Free Cheese Stixs - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

Best pie in town. Always roll with the 9.99 large pizza with 3 toppings. The crust is phenomenal with good sauce and cheese. Also have tried the original cheese stix. Super amazing. Ever since trying mad mushroom I eat here 2-3 times a week. read more

We went here to get free cheese sticks 4 to 8pm. Got here at 6:15 they were out. I was disappointed because I had been wanted to try this restaurant. My husband said his co-workers bragged about their cheese sticks and he was the one who knew about the deal! Oh well!!!! Seems 6:15 seemed too soon to be out!! read more

I came here today because I wanted to get a gift card for a coworker and oddly enough, I found that this brand does not advertise their gift cards like other places do (at the front of the restaurant). The guy had to go to the back and get one. It is the holiday season! Advertise your business (or maybe they do not have to because they have a good customer base already?) read more

The kid at the counter was so friendly and helpful! My pizza was delicious! Thanks Sid!

For several days they advertised on facebook free cheesesticks from 4-8pm, but ran out of dough about half way through. Very cold weather today I am sure it kept a lot of people home. read more

The pizza is very good, and I love the specials. But beyond the pizza, they have great wings (they offer boneless and bone-in) and really great salads! (I recommend the antipasto salad.) If you live in the area you will be glad you gave them a try. read more

Oh heavenly cheese sticks. This was my college experience in a box. I am addicted to these and am so excited mad mushroom lives on!

Some short haired kid took my order and was rude the whole time his name was Trey or something but he was mixed and was throwing out insults left and right, thanks never eating here again read more

We order from them every Thursday, my wife called today, tying to order, long story short she could hear the punk on the phone cuss her out while asking his manager questions, real professional, I'll never order from them, nor will I tell anyone to order, I'll tell everyone I know about this experience, they really need to take care of this, starts with the managers...hiring complete idiots, sorry mad mushroom, we are done. Prior to this, I had them at 5 stars, this really makes me upset, as a business owner myself, I can't help but think how pissed off I would be if these were my business, having found out that service at my business isn't up to my standards. read more

Where I work the boss wanted pizza at 1130 am. Looked for a place and found this one right around the corner. Set up an online account with my specified delivery time. Got the triple pepperoni which is awesome, and the works. Works holds its own as well. Boss is from Louisville, this is the most requested pizza by him now, and he is picky. Great crust, great delivery staff. Thanks!! read more

Great pizza! Crust was amazing and very cheesy! Loved the cheese sticks too! We got the works and it was delicious

I haven't had Mad mushroom since I moved off campus some 15yrs ago. We just moved into a new home and I was super excited when I saw a MM right around the corner. It is even better than I remembered. I'm going to have to join the gym with this awesome new neighbor. read more

Mad Mushroom Pizza - Oh how I have missed this box - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

It disgusts me to see food handlers not wash their hands after sneezing and coughing. Seriously... I am absolutely disgusted.

Most unique toppings, excellent service, the pizzas are very Americana, 10/10 will be back dispite living across the country

Outstanding service! Excellent pizza! Lots of daily deals. This is a great location. I recommend the meat specialty with extra cheese.

Mad Mushroom Pizza - Great Food ,Great People ,Great Quality and An Amazing Price .... They Deliver Also !!! - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

Best pizza ever! I thought maybe there would be too much mushrooms but NO! It was freaking amazing!

They have daily specials. That said, I'm not a fan of their pizza, thhe pan tossed has a HUGE 2" crust which turns a 14" into a 10" pizza. The thin crust did not taste good. Your best bet is the Cheesestix. read more

We had this pizza for the first time tonight. We ordered from a link on the yelp page which was fast and easy. Food was delivered within time quoted and was very close to exact time. We ordered the Thursday special which is a medium pizza and cheesestix? Might have misspelled that. Anyways, both were very good. I love the ranch that pizza places have and this one was not disappointing, it was very herby which was good. read more

We were in town for a soccer tournament. We had 50 high school girls and parents to feed. I called and Brandon took excellent care of us. We received plenty of delicious food with in our budget. The driver was great also. We arranged for a 6:30 delivery. He was five minutes early and everything was there and hot. I look forward to using them again next time we are in Lexington. read more

Some of the most bland pizza I've had. Don't let its cheapness overshadow it's poor quality.

Mmmm this place was awesome! Ordered delivery and everything was on point. I like that the crust is in between thick and thin without being too crispy. The dough just tasted really good and wholesome. The pizza sauce was very tasty. I enjoyed the cheese sticks and they offer plenty dipping sauces (for free!). Overall, I will definitely be returning! read more

This pizza is awesome, we ordered a small pizza and medium cheese sticks after a concert at about 11:30pm on a Saturday. The pizza game within 25 minutes, and their delivery service issues mobile updates so we knew when the pizza was out for delivery. The taste of the pizza was excellent, and the crust tasted better than a lot of chains. It's not mushy. The pizza and sticks came hot, and you get a lot of dipping sauces. We got pepperoni, sausage, green pepper on the pizza and all of the toppings looked fresh and we had a good serving of each. I would definitely order from them again! read more

Traveling for a college road trip to take my son to see U.K. They delivered a huge delicious pizza to our hotel and the family enjoyed it immensely. read more

Super awesome. Late night delivery with no attitude. Always happy to go the extra mile. Literally

Normally love every order I get and have ordered cheese sticks add bacon a 100 times and have always been pleased. This time my the lack of bacon doesn't seem worth the extra money to pay. I do have to say it was my first time getting one of their grinders and it was great just sucked seeing my cheese sticks with hardly any bacon! read more

Mad Mushroom Pizza - Cheese sticks lacking the bacon I added and paid extra for!!! Not the norm!! - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

It's not anything extra special but I absolutely love this place! Love the pizza and it's so reasonably priced. Can't beat that! The grinders are pretty amazing!!! Love the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch. Delivery is always fast, it's definitely a go-to for my family! read more

They're known for their cheese sticks and granted those are awesome but you have to try the grinders. They bake the bread fresh daily in-store and slice their own meat. The pizza is awesome too. You absolutely cannot beat this place for the price and they deliver later than anywhere else in the area too. read more

Best Pizza in Lexington! Drivers are very courteous and accommodating. We had almost given up on pizza delivery. Ordered for first time last night, and the girls had to have it again tonight! read more

Very good pizza and excellent cheese sticks. Very reasonable prices. Looking forward to trying the grinders.

Cheesesticks. Seriously the best. I've ordered food from this and the downtown location for almost 10 years now and have never been disappointed. read more

Love mad mushroom. Great prices. Especially for weekday prices. When you want to pick up or have something delivered quickly with out spending a ton. When you have hungry kids to feed. Best cheese sticks. Alway polite. ALWAYS. Been ordering from there for years and have never had to deal with a pissy person on the other end. They are fast too. Have no complaints but if you did, something happened with your order, they will fix it. read more

Excellent. Serves its purpose of providing cheap and tasty pizza very quickly. Cheese-sticks are unbelievable. This place was a staple while attending UK and still very good read more

Allways fast and hot great food taste great what else can I say really fantastic service.

I LOVE mad mush and honestly didn't appreciate it until I moved from lex. They ALWAYS deliver unlike other late night chains (I.e. Spinellis in Louisville and Douhbys in Lex) and are consistently delicious. They don't mind drunk students who are most of their customers and always have extra sauce. Just saying, savor the customer service, competence, and taste while you can! read more

This is likely among the cheaper local pizza options that are more affordable and still pretty consistent on quality. The delivery time has been faster than pretty much any other place. No order mistakes, either. read more
