I ordered a large deluxe pizza last evening, and had ordered 2 weeks ago one also. Both times I got a pizza that was so thin in middle I couldn't pick t up to eat. middle was just to thin and doughy too. Last night's was a little worst, the crust was thicker on the outside but still doughy along with middle. Toppings where not even close to edge of crust. I love this food but dont want to use fork all the time to eat. but make crust a little thicker. read more

I ordered online and the confirmation email stated 45 minutes. A Little after that 45 minutes I called to get a status check and was told it was on its way (I live about 6 miles away). After a total 1.5 hours I called again to cancel the order. I had given reasonable time with no feedback as to the status. The manager said it is on its way. I told him that wasn't my problem. After all I have to get up early for work. He in anger mocked that is how I do business. I do business everyday and do not treat people that way. I will put a hold on the payment if not refunded and may never go back after his childish outburst. read more

This is probably an old Pizza shut building, but not the same food! The pizza was delicious. We've tried the cheese, taco, and BLT pizzas and the garlic bread basket. The garlic bread reminded me of frozen garlic bread when I was a kid; a French baguette, sliced into pieces, but it still had a good flavor. The pizza is what we thoroughly enjoyed. My husband got the original crust, after the waitress said it was still very thin. I got the thick crust. Those were great choices. My husband's was like a cracker thin and mine was only as thick as a Dominos or Papa John's original crust. This was all described perfectly by our waitress. The cheese is great because the cheese they use itself has a great flavor. The BLT had a great tangy mayo on it and the taco was cover on the crust with refried beans and ground beef. Both the taco and BLT are topped with fresh shredded /chopped lettuce and tomatoes. The only thing the taco needed is a few crumbled chips. The restaurant inside is nothing fancy (old Pizza Hut), but the food and staff were great. The drinks are self-service which is nice for refilling whenever you like, but some people seemed bothered by that a little. read more

Cute little Italian hole in the wall. Plenty of food served at the buffet from all kinds of pizza, 3 kinds of spaghetti, 2 red sauces, alfredo sauce. The salad bar was superb. Fresh cut lettuce, and nearly every topping you can think of. Salad dressings tasted homemade too but maybe not. We brought 20 college soccer players in to eat one hour before closing. They had everything prepped and set out for us With plenty left over. Staff was super friendly and courteous. read more

Giovanni's is awesome. We came here sort of late on Saturday night, not realizing that the buffet had just closed and the dining area would close in less than an hour. Oops. We sat, ordered a two-liter of soda, a bag of BBQ chips, and a large pizza with two toppings (it was some kind of deal). We didn't have to wait too long before the pizza arrived and managed to eat the entire thing with the exception of once slice, between the four of us. We all enjoyed it so much. So good. Their pizza is wonderful -- just the right mix of cheese and sauce and crust, with a generous but not overwhelming amount of extra toppings (if you desire). When I crave thin crust pizza, this is the kind of pizza I crave. It's similar to a lot of thin crust pizza I've had near Chicago. *drool* The staff is very nice, the restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating, the bathrooms are clean (whew!), and the buffet looked inviting (with several kind of pizza, pasta, and salad). I may have to come back another time to try the buffet and see how that goes. But until then, I know they've got scrumptious pizza. The location is a bit odd, in a strip mall with a tight parking lot in a residential area, but once you find it, you've found a gem. Giovanni's is also awesome because they recently raised $14k to help a local young mother with cancer. I don't know how they raised so much, but it's pretty amazing. If I am in ttt or en I pick it up but if not I get it delivered and they deliver to Stamping Ground which is great for me since I don't drive. First off let's start with the food it was delicious came out fairly quick the salad bar was nice and orderly and the pasta and pizza areas weren't huge but the pizza would be gone so fast and refilled it didn't matter. My husband & I ordered delivery from here for the first time tonight &, after two bites, he asked, "Why have we not been here before?" The food was delicious! I got pizza bread & he got a personal pizza. We finished both! The delivery was also on time. I didn't feel like making my own, so I decided to give Giovanni's a try. It's alright. They could put a few more pepperoni slices on the extra large. Their dough is soft and fluffy but not very yeasty. The tomato sauce is not very spicy. The size is larger than most other places. My conclusion is that next time I go out for pizza, I'll keep looking. The staff were friendly and the wait time is good, but there's nothing remarkable to bring me back or prevent my return. read more

This place surprised my wife and I. Where are from (Louisa, KY) Giovanni's is the best pizza in town. But unfortunately that Giovanni's (in Louisa) was way to greasy. This Giovanni's in Georgetown though hits a home run in comparison to the other! The crust was crispy on the edges and soft through center, toppings tasted fresh, and the sauce was great! I noticed the buffet when I went in to grab the pizzas. The restaurant while getting the food for take out appeared clean and smelled nice. Outside was nice as well. Pizza is pretty much same as cici's pizza. The pasta on the bar is ok, not much flavor comes with anything. The salad bar is good and everything I ate on it seemed fresh. I went to this restaurant right when they opened, the sale bar was ready to go along with the pasta, pizza was coming out quickly, and fell in love with the most popular which was a bacon and ranch pizza. people were courteous, and the restaurant was clean. Food was good, much better experience for a pizza then I had previously at another place. everything I had was very tasty, garlic bread, etc. Get it early and fresh and I don't think you will be disappointed!
