Giovanni's is awesome. We came here sort of late on Saturday night, not realizing that the buffet had just closed and the dining area would close in less than an hour. Oops. We sat, ordered a two-liter of soda, a bag of BBQ chips, and a large pizza with two toppings (it was some kind of deal). We didn't have to wait too long before the pizza arrived and managed to eat the entire thing with the exception of once slice, between the four of us. We all enjoyed it so much. So good. Their pizza is wonderful -- just the right mix of cheese and sauce and crust, with a generous but not overwhelming amount of extra toppings (if you desire). When I crave thin crust pizza, this is the kind of pizza I crave. It's similar to a lot of thin crust pizza I've had near Chicago. *drool* The staff is very nice, the restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating, the bathrooms are clean (whew!), and the buffet looked inviting (with several kind of pizza, pasta, and salad). I may have to come back another time to try the buffet and see how that goes. But until then, I know they've got scrumptious pizza. The location is a bit odd, in a strip mall with a tight parking lot in a residential area, but once you find it, you've found a gem. Giovanni's is also awesome because they recently raised $14k to help a local young mother with cancer. I don't know how they raised so much, but it's pretty amazing. Delicious food + fantastic community spirit = WIN.

This place is right around the corner from me. It's a great place for carry out. They have a good menu with plenty of variety. The pizza is good. It's owned by a veteran. It's a good go to when you need something quick. I need to try more things on the menu to give more stars

    Pepperoni sausage.... We're!!??? Ground up!

I'm sorry but I been hearing about how good it is so I gave it a try. nope! I asked for toppings not grounded up meat and veggies seriously it's like they grind it all first! the price very high for mediocre pizza at best. crust not good cheese wtf? word taste it was very skimpy taste not that great I just really can't say anything good other than the size! I'll stick with dominoes. they might not be authentic but they don't claim to be either! plus I pay way less for way better quality and flavor! My first time, my last time!

Food was great! However, we got there about 5:30 and there was no food on the buffet. When the food did arrive, we were happy with the quality and price of the food.

Absolutely adorable spot for Italian in Versailles!…read more I met up with some friend here for a girls dinner and luckily it was nice enough to be seated on the patio. We started with the arancini as well as the house bread that's served after you're seated- both super tasty. I'm not a huge pasta fan so I ordered a grilled romaine salad (that may be seasonal because I no longer see it on the menu). I added salmon and it was great! Our service was great and I definitely think Vallozzi's is worth the drive from Lexington!

My wife points out Vallozzi's as we were walking back to the car, and we decided to try. We walked in and immediate love the vibe. The restaurant is gorgeous! And they were busy too. We walked up to see if we could get a table. She asked if we had a reservation and we didn't. She said they were totally booked. We were bummed but said thank you and agreed we'd come back when we did. As we were leaving, the hostess chased us down and asked if we still wanted to grab dinner, of course we said yes ...... and so began our dining journey with Vallozzis! Ashley as was our server and we took her recommendations on just about everything! The menu is varied with plenty of options. We started with the prosciutto plate and recommended wine - Teresa got the Angel Rose and I chose the Hall Chardonnay. Perfect. Our daughter had a Sprite, just to put that out there. Our daughter got the manicotti which looked fab! My wife got the Parma, and I got the special beef filet ravioli. Everything was prepared perfectly and we could not have been better service. Thanks Ashley! The ambiance is quite charming and you'll feel very comfortable being here! We needed to get dessert of course so we chose the banana tiramisu and got two of them to go! No disappointment at all. Really enjoyed our time and dining experience here and we'll definitely be back. There's too much on that fabulous menu to try, not yo come back and back and back. Check out Vallozzis! Make sure to get a reservation just to be safe. We will too!

Don't overlook these delicacies. The arancini have a crispy crust and a wonderfully gooey cheesy inside. They are seasoned well. Accompanied by a red and pesto sauce that pair well. The pesto was especially tasty and begs for a pasta dish with the same sauce. I also ordered the Matuffi Lucchese. The polenta is fantastic and the hearty wild mushroom ragu is seasoned to perfection. The butternut squash soup was light. It was the weakest dish and I feel lacked salt. The faina was the most surprising item and I am so glad I tried it. . This chickpea pancake was slightly crispy at the edges with a luscious center. Ignore the butter in the photo. It was offered with olive oil and I always prefer butter, but it did not need either. The cannoli were amazing. Whipped mascarpone was genius. I've often found ricotta heavy. These were very light. I must note. I am gluten intolerant and watch what | eat. The menu is very gluten free friendly with notations and substitution possibilities (including the cannoli shells made with almond flour). My server, Gustavo, was the best. He timed my dishes perfectly and accommodated all my requests graciously and efficiently. He was the cherry on the top of a memorable meal.

The olive oil was well seasoned. The entrees were so tasty I thought I was in heaven. My husband got a weird named pasta but was very pleased, it was wrapped chicken on creamy rice. And I got the chicken Parmesan, but subbed the marinara for Alfredo, and got fettuccini noodles instead. Best decision EVER. We got dessert and that was a homemade cream puff and some homemade icecream. He got a glass of wine, and I got the peach Bellini. Everything was so good.
