jets is great but beware that the shopping center has goons employed to follow you around the parking lot. they will stalk you and wait for you outside businesses to call metro towing if you step outside the parking lot or go anywhere else in walking distance after visiting a business on the lot. the goons will write your moves down on a piece of paper, it's really creepy and feels violating to have a mean person from metro towing tell you your every move over the past hour over the phone while they have your vehicle. landlord is a villain. read more

Pretty straightforward basic pizza, but the notable part here is that they offer a Detroit-style. It has a bit of crispness to it and it's definitely filling for the money. The quality of ingredients wasn't what you'd get at a top-notch place and mine needed some red pepper (which they offered). They did get my fairly complicated half-and-half pizza with all the veggies correct. They also have a free option to put a little extra seasoning on the crust; I got sesame seeds. We ordered 3 pizzas, for a total of $75.83. Because it was an office order, we followed thru with the order even at this extremely high $$$$ price. After we hung up, & told our coworkers the price, it was agreed that it was too expensive. We called back within roughly 3-5 minutes to cancel the order, & was told that they already had the pizzas in the oven & that they could only give me back 1/2 of my money. We asked why they were already baking our pizzas since they weren't due to be delivered for another hour- at our lunch break. He said they deliver in 45 minutes & that's just how it works. We told him to put the order thru- I mean what kind of options did we have at this point? $37.50 for no food?? or $75.83 for food? The food was hot, fresh & tasty. But honestly, for $80.00- with an added $5.00 tip, it should've been! Jet's has the best deep dish pizza (that I've tried) in Lexington, but the regular crusted pizza is nothing more than a $5.00 Little Caesars pizza. No, I'm not a huge pizza fan, but I find myself in need of delivery occasionally and I've chosen Jet's delivery twice. The last time, the girl on the phone was clearly new or discombobulated... bless her heart. I had a coupon for the deep dish. This time I chose the Aloha BBQ chicken pizza. It came with pineapples, chicken, bacon and of course BBQ sauce. The time before that, I had another BBQ chicken option and the only difference from that one, was that it swapped the pineapples for red onions. Ok, you get it, I like the BBQ chicken options. I also like the fact that you can choose your crust favor. Although it's subtle, it's a nice touch. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza, that's how I know that the regular pizza is pathetic. She requested her crust to be the parmesan crust and it was barely on the crust, more like so around the outer rim of the pizza. It was so bad that she left her leftovers... I don't know why though, not even the dogs would like that pizza. For both pizzas this time, after the tip and delivery fee, it was $35... way over priced, especially considering the coupon. read more

The selection is pretty varied, so if you have a group most everyone can find something on the menu that they will like a lot. It's a family owned and run business (Yay). And the family is from the area. All of the Jet's in town are owned by the same family, so if you are in another stores delivery zone - no problem. I don't give 5stars for nothing. This place deserves it. I will say that they messed up making one of the Deli Boat's, but on my next trip in they made it right by me. They even have salads. Smile. I didn't think it was possible for this specific Jet's location to achieve even worse levels of service. I was wrong. We tried to patronize them - AGAIN - a few days ago by taking advantage of their text ordering specials. Long story short: the technology does not work. It doesn't work if you include all the necessary components in one message, or if you break them up into multiple messages. IT. DOES. NOT. WORK. So you call, right? Not only to report the error but also to place the order. Then the MANAGER, Mark, gets on the phone and tells you to "try a few more times and if it still doesn't work, call us back." He also proceeds to tell me that their tech guy comes in twice a week to troubleshoot issues, as if I care. So I ask: "If I try this texting system again and it fails, as I anticipate it will, will you - the manager - honor the special?" Answer? No, because he "doesn't have a way to do that." BS. I call total BS. More importantly, I hung up and ordered Chinese from Happy China instead, the NICEST, most reliable and friendly delivery in town. I am generally not a deep dish pizza fan, but Jets Detroit style deep dish is awesome! Their crust is chewy and crispy at the same time. The generous amounts of good quality toppings make this pie a contender for some of the best (chain) pizza in Lexington. My only complaint is that the crust tends to be a bit oily. read more

I will give credit where it is due, you have good pizza. However, last night when I was charged 19 bucks for a small gluten free pizza, I was less than ecstatic. That is a considerable amount of money for a very little pizza. There are much larger specialty pizzas on your menu for less.
