So where do you go when your out Of town adult son drops in unexpectedly in your town and has just enough time for a quick lunch and you need somewhere conveniently located, moderately priced and just an all around good bite? Well, Pie Five meets all that criteria. And so when our son called and said wanna grab a quick bite together - that's where his dad and I went with him. Pie Five is one of our son's faves for pizza done fast and customized. Today, they had a buy three. Get the fourth free on personal size pizzas. We Took advantage of that and we each got Our own customized personal Pizza and my son also got extra one free to go. My hubby and I both chose the crispy crust. I got Hawaiian pizza toppings added to mine while my husband, Mike chose one of the works type topping choices. Our son got his favorite white pie with chicken on a pan crust. Good food done quickly without breaking the bank. That's what we needed and that's what you get with Pie Five. Try it again for the first time.

We came here on a friend's recommendation before a movie and it was not disappointing. We arrived right when it opened so we did not have to wait long for the food. The set up reminds me of a Qdoba where you tell the employee what you want and they make it right there. At least you know it is fresh. I went with the combo where you get a personal pizza and a salad. Everything was spot on and you get a lot of food for how much you pay for. If you need a quick pizza fix, this is your place to go.

I bought a coupon on Xooker to try this place. It was exactly what I expected a build your own pizza place would be like. It didn't disappoint nor did it exceed my expectations. We ordered a 14 inch pizza and a large salad to share. Actually the chicken on the salad would have been very disappointing if it had been meant as an entree because it was little tiny cubes of chicken, not exactly "grilled chicken" like the menu states. But anyway, the pizza was decent. We tried the thin crust and had lots of toppings. Pretty much all the toppings are included in the price, so that is nice. We had some trouble using our Xooker voucher because they redeemed it before they were ready on their cash register, and then we couldn't get the app to open it back up. They sorted it out but it is always frustrating when places offer coupons through an app and then don't know how to redeem them. But it let us try the place at a discounted price so I can't complain. Would I come back, probably not but I would still recommend trying it if pizza is your thing.

Wonderful food and Superb service, so no excuse.......Duh! Best decision you've made in awhile.

Built to perfection every time we have been in for solid prices and best taste around. This come from an ac reefer tech moved to Georgetown and retired that had 24/7 access to 22 chain Pizza joints and serviced numerous other restaurants in my 40+ years of service. You seriously need to truly try....... You will return time after

    From inside the mall.

After hearing a lot about Pie Five through Yelp and friends, my husband and I grabbed a late lunch here before some people-watching at the mall a few days ago. We don't like the mall, but Pie Five has an outdoor entrance in addition to a mall entrance. Despite the crowds finding last-minute holiday gifts, we were able to grab a parking spot not too far from the doors of Pie Five. Win! Once inside, we quickly scanned the menu -- with their classic offerings or make-your-own options, and decided to go for some of their creations. I ordered the Farmers' Market pizza (cheese and veggies on a wheat crust) and my husband had the Buffalo Chicken pizza (buffalo chicken stuff on a crust.... don't ask me, I don't like buffalo chicken). Both pizzas were made super-quick and tasted great! Fresh and filling but not too heavy. My husband also added a caesar salad, which he said was "normal." For fun, I had a beer, but was really disappointed to recieve it in a can, and not a bottle. Especially for nearly $4. Note to self: never get beer here again. BUT, $7 for a quick, hand-made personal pizza that more than satisfies? Yes, please!! If we ever come back to the mall and get hungry after all the walking around, Pie Five is staying in our rotation of places to eat (and there aren't many places here that appeal to us).

My daughter loves this place! We go back because of an employee named LP. He goes out of his way to interact with kids and make designing a pizza fun. The restaurant is clean and well kept. We love that you can build your own pizza. Their Greek salad is amazing. If you ask nicely, they'll give you extra olives and artichoke hearts. My husband loves the garlic sticks and classic pepperonis.

There are a lot of these fast Pizza places in Lexington these days and you don't have to drive too far to find one. I love pizza, period! I really like Pie Five's their new diet/friendly option for a kid size (4 slice) pizza with a small salad. The pizza has a cracker thin crust which I like and I load up the pizza with a ton of veggies so I don't miss the extra pieces of the 11" pies. They offer a low calorie Italian dressing that you can get on the side to help save a few more calories. If you are not watching calories, I recommend the cinnamon stix! They have a Free Style Coke machine here if you are picky about your soft drink selection. Don't forget to download their app. Scan it as you check out and you earn points toward rewards.

Im taking 2 stars off for false advertisement. Tuesday is kids eat free with the purchase of a an entree and it shows a picture of a kids pizza, drink and dessert BUT when you go to check out, you only get the kids pizza free and not the dessert or drink so all in all, you dont really save by doing the kids eat free deal. If you only get the kids pizza for free, why show a picture with everything the kids meal includes making it appear as though you get everything included. The food is good no doubt but when it comes to kids day, its false.

My first visit to Pie Five. When I first walked by it seemed to have a long line but it flows pretty quickly for it to be a fix as your order place. I like that you have the option to add what ever ingredients you want and it's all for one price! No charge each topping. I tried the whole grain Neopolitan with ham, people pineapple, mushrooms and black olives. The mozzarella tasted fresh. You can make your pizza as a salad in a pizza bowl as well. They also offer gluten free pizza crust, but for those that are allergic to gluten I'm not sure how well they keep it separated. The employees friendly. Nice seating area inside and out. It's a nice addition to have a restaurant on that end of the mall actually inside the mall. I'd definitely go back again.

BEST PIZZA PLACE EVER. Hands down. Best customer service too. I am absolutely in love with their Italian crust, but they also have gluten free crust and other options!!! Their toppings are always fresh. I've been getting pizzas from them for about two months now and I have never been disappointed! I love that they are super friendly and will go that extra mile just to make sure you have had a good experience with them. It's awesome how you can make your own pizza with them and literally get WHATEVER you want on there! Even different types of cheeses for zero charge. Definitely a good bang for your buck. It's absurd that I used to go to smashing tomato and spend $12+ on a pizza when now I only spend $8 and get all the toppings and honestly, even better pizza from pie five. If you all haven't gone... go!

    Two free pizzas!
Looking Out For The City ..

Pretty sweet deal. I write a review about them and they find a minuscule detail that I did not like and they send me two free pizza gift cards. I needed that. Kind of slow on work with my independent contractor stuff and could use these so I do not starve. Thanks again Pie Five! Also, a shout out to all other businesses in Lexington that have given me free gift cards. It is these businesses that I tend to highlight because customer service is off the charts when I get handouts!

I stopped at Pie Five for dinner the other night and it was really good. I like that you get to watch them make your pizza and also the fact that all the pizzas are the same price no matter how many toppings you choose. You can either create your own pizza or pick one from the menu. I tried the Five Star and the Athenian - both with the classic pan crust. They were delicious (I liked the Athenian slightly better). I am excited to go back and also glad there is another location opening in Lexington, since I don't always feel like fighting mall traffic and parking when I'm eating out.

Most of the seating is indoor inside of the Micher's Greenhouse there, so even if the weather hadn't of been nice it would have been a great time. There was great live music as well. We decided to get a bavarian pretzel to split, as well as her getting their raspberry crepe while I decided on their lemon curd crepe. Everything we had to eat was fantastic. Everything else I saw on the menu sounded delicious. Service was also quick and fantastic. The kitchen was pumping out food quick and the wait staff had it out to us as soon as possible. I'll always recommend this as a nice date spot for others.

Weird experience. The food is fine, healthy-ish, but nothing to write home about. My husband's…read morenoodle salad was my favorite, followed by my cauliflower salad. I thought the beet & giant bean salad was meh, the pieces are cut huge so you really get about 4 beans and 6 pieces of beet. The grilled cheese is actually half a grilled cheese, which didn't have much cheese on it, and tasted faintly of horseradish. I couldn't finish mine. The hummus was good, you just don't get very much. Focaccia was alright, would have been better warmed. We ordered a Bavarian pretzel plate, which also came out room temp. I think that's a first for me at a restaurant. The focaccia, ok, it's for dipping and that's easier when it isn't so soft. But the pretzel? Like did it just get pulled out of a bag and tossed on the plate? I can't speak to the cheese because I tried it with mustard. There was so much horseradish in the mustard it almost blew my head off. I'm sure some people love that but I'm not one of them. Speaking of blowing up, a woman on a laptop had a kid that was goofing off around her table. He laid down on the bench and started sweeping rocks at some old lady. The old lady turns around to tell him to stop and the mom lost it on her. Like screeching. Idk, I get it to a certain extent but if you're trusting the world to watch your kid while you work, don't be surprised when the world asks your kid to not throw rocks at them. Then when I bussed my table (which I thought was what we are supposed to do here), there's a single bus tub to the right of the ordering window. To get there, I cut across the line sideways and not one but several people are giving side-eye because they had to *gasp* make way for someone to take their plates up. That's also where the bathroom is, so good luck if you sit to the left of the line, because apparently the other patrons expect you to walk through a maze of tables behind the line to get to the far side of the cafe. Summary: the food is fine, but not worth the rest of the experience. It's surprisingly unorganized and while it is beautiful, you can get better health food at the co-op or Whole Foods. The clientele on a Thursday morning was so uppity I would never come back.

This delightful, unassuming cafe/stationary food truck offers an entirely plant based menu of comfort food, quick bites, and desserts (if you can get them before they're gone). The owners are super nice and very willing to expand on ingredients and preparation methods for the menu options. After much consideration we ordered the Chi'ken Sando (crispy chicken with lettuce, tomato, pickles), Buffalo Chi'ken Fry's (crinkle cut fries topped with buffalo and ranch, crispy chicken, and a sprinkle of cheese), and the 6 piece wings with half tarter sauce and half Caribbean jerk. I loved the complexity of the jerk sauce and my dining companion preferred the tarter sauce, so the half and half wings worked out perfectly. The fries - delicious and expertly prepared, however I learned I lean toward a less spicy/tangy sauce than buffalo, and would have preferred cheese sauce rather than shreds on top. Pricing is very reasonable for high quality, made to order, plant based cuisine, and there is shaded outdoor seating as well as tables inside the cafe. Moody Mike's - you have a new fan. The seating area is a little small on the inside where it is winter but in the spring and summer, it would be beautiful to sit outside on their benches. It looks very chic and aesthetic. I can't wait to come back in the warmer weather and the service was very quick and easy you order at the food truck and you can sit inside and wait for your food to come out. Favor is the passion project of chef Wyatt Sarbacker and features a small rotating menu. While the burgers and empanadas are always on the menu, other items change seasonally or according to availability. Wyatt prides himself and Favor on using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients and building an eco friendly, environmentally sustainable culinary experience. The space is intimate, mostly counter seating aside from one large community dining table in the adjoining room, but it's bright and welcoming. The kitchen is completely open and you can see everything Wyatt is doing as he prepares your meal. And this is an impressive one man show! It amazed us how Wyatt made it look easy (though I'm sure it's not). He was preparing multiple dishes from multiple orders simultaneously and delivered them promptly at a great pace that allowed us to enjoy each dish without feeling hurried. We ate almost every dish on the menu. Dish sizes vary, some small, some larger, but it worked out wonderfully that there were three of us, as we could eat in a tapas style, sharing all of the tasty foods. The empanadas were first, and come with a rotating sauce accompaniment. They were soft and hot, and the filling was delicious. I can't remember the filling, but I remember black beans were involved, and it was actually one of my favorite dishes. Such a compact, juicy, savory bite. We also had the lion's mane mushroom, made with pea shoots, lemon, and creole mustard. This is a mushroom served like a crab cake. You could really taste the earthy mushroom flavor and the creole mustard was the perfect addition. We also had the crispy Brussels, made with shishito peppers, onion, and maple miso dressing. Wyatt did Brussels sprouts incredibly well. Often you go to a place and they are burnt or charred and have that taste. These were cooked to perfection and had a smoky, yet sweet taste. And who could resist a giant plate of fries? These fries are fresh cut potatoes and my dinner companion compared them to the famous "Five Guys" fries that everyone raves about. The true star here is the curry ketchup. No ordinary ketchup, this thrills the tastebuds. We were excited to hear that Wyatt will hopefully be releasing some of his own sauces soon. We also had the cheeseburger, which is a smashburger. I have complained about the smashburger trend endlessly, as I tend to like a thick, medium burger. But this burger was VERY good. Melted with cheese, on his HOMEMADE buns, this one gets a pass as "one of the good ones." We finished up with chocolate chunk cookies, which were served hot with ooey gooey melted chocolate chips. Made with rye flower and bittersweet chocolate, as well as cranberries, poppyseeds, and sea salt, this cookie had such a unique savory flavor. The more we tasted them, the more we loved them. I'm not a "sweets" type of person, so this type of cookie is ideal for me. I wish I could have bought a dozen to take home to my husband. You can get cocktails from arcadium, right by the restaurant, which I've reviewed previously. They make light refreshing daiquiris and gin gimlets, which is what we ordered. My companion liked their old fashioned. Prices for Flavor are insanely well priced. Despite this experiencing being worth so much more, prices range from sub-ten dollars to 18 dollars. Wyatt was warm and welcoming and interesting. We had an amazing evening and have already discussed when we would come back, who we would bring, or whether we might have next year's birthday bash there as a private event. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening, Wyatt, I am glad I finally figured out the reservation system!
