Absolutely adorable spot for Italian in Versailles!…read more I met up with some friend here for a girls dinner and luckily it was nice enough to be seated on the patio. We started with the arancini as well as the house bread that's served after you're seated- both super tasty. I'm not a huge pasta fan so I ordered a grilled romaine salad (that may be seasonal because I no longer see it on the menu). I added salmon and it was great! Our service was great and I definitely think Vallozzi's is worth the drive from Lexington!

My wife points out Vallozzi's as we were walking back to the car, and we decided to try. We walked in and immediate love the vibe. The restaurant is gorgeous! And they were busy too. We walked up to see if we could get a table. She asked if we had a reservation and we didn't. She said they were totally booked. We were bummed but said thank you and agreed we'd come back when we did. As we were leaving, the hostess chased us down and asked if we still wanted to grab dinner, of course we said yes ...... and so began our dining journey with Vallozzis! Ashley as was our server and we took her recommendations on just about everything! The menu is varied with plenty of options. We started with the prosciutto plate and recommended wine - Teresa got the Angel Rose and I chose the Hall Chardonnay. Perfect. Our daughter had a Sprite, just to put that out there. Our daughter got the manicotti which looked fab! My wife got the Parma, and I got the special beef filet ravioli. Everything was prepared perfectly and we could not have been better service. Thanks Ashley! The ambiance is quite charming and you'll feel very comfortable being here! We needed to get dessert of course so we chose the banana tiramisu and got two of them to go! No disappointment at all. Really enjoyed our time and dining experience here and we'll definitely be back. There's too much on that fabulous menu to try, not yo come back and back and back. Check out Vallozzis! Make sure to get a reservation just to be safe. We will too!

Be sure to try the baked spaghetti with wonderful homemade Italian sausage. This is a family owned and run business. The service is superb! Everyone is so friendly and cheerful. You are greeted as if you are family. That made me feel as if I'd come back my hometown Chicago. I would love to have a family reunion here because it is a cozy place with a friendly crew. Both dishes were hot, flavorful and served with good bread. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were just right. We both finished our meals and were full. The restaurant is small, seating about 25-30 people comfortably when full. There were two waitresses working, both of whom were very cordial and friendly. Important note about location: if you have an iPhone, maps will not take you to the right place as of November 2025. This is not only the best cauliflower crust pizza I've ever had, but this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I'm shocked at just how great this pizza is. I've always loved their regular flour crust, but I actually believe the cauliflower crust they offer is better than their regular crust. It's only available in the 10 inch size pizza, and cost a little more, but it sure is worth it. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this review, because I really believe this cauliflower crust pizza is one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. A+++++

There's some Italian decor, hanging jerseys, and Kentucky state themed decor. It has your standard pizza/wing place type of style--relaxed with some sporty casual notes. The servers continuously checked on us and other seated guests to make sure all needs were met, and they were very attentive! Their menu has a lot of appetizers (like garlic knots, wings, cheesy bread, etc.), tons of pizza, Stromboli and calzones, basic pasta, and drinks. They offer both soda and alcohol (beer and wine). We ordered 10 count cheesy bread to start which was perfect for 2 people as an app. It comes with a garlic butter sauce and cold marinara. For the main I considered getting pasta, but the only sauces offered are Alfredo and meat sauce (no plain marinara), so I opted to just go with pizza. We split the 10" Davinci Special, which was also more than enough for two people. The pizza was good and cooked well, but not incredible. There was nothing less than good about it, but the quality was that similar to screaming Sicilian. I would be curious to see how some of the other specialty pizzas taste--maybe the Davinci tasted too similar to a Deluxe pizza for me to really feel something special about it. They have a broad range of specialty pizzas, so I'm willing to give this place a try again if we ever come back to the area or for a late night bite.

Don't overlook these delicacies. The arancini have a crispy crust and a wonderfully gooey cheesy inside. They are seasoned well. Accompanied by a red and pesto sauce that pair well. The pesto was especially tasty and begs for a pasta dish with the same sauce. I also ordered the Matuffi Lucchese. The polenta is fantastic and the hearty wild mushroom ragu is seasoned to perfection. The butternut squash soup was light. It was the weakest dish and I feel lacked salt. The faina was the most surprising item and I am so glad I tried it. . This chickpea pancake was slightly crispy at the edges with a luscious center. Ignore the butter in the photo. It was offered with olive oil and I always prefer butter, but it did not need either. The cannoli were amazing. Whipped mascarpone was genius. I've often found ricotta heavy. These were very light. I must note. I am gluten intolerant and watch what | eat. The menu is very gluten free friendly with notations and substitution possibilities (including the cannoli shells made with almond flour). My server, Gustavo, was the best. He timed my dishes perfectly and accommodated all my requests graciously and efficiently. He was the cherry on the top of a memorable meal.
