Definitely go for the deep dish- plenty of cheese oozing out of every slice. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough tomato sauce, but I hear this is the way it's done in Chicago. Had a classic with pepperoni, mushrooms, and italian sausage- delicious. Their medium size is recommended for 2-4 people, it could definitely feed 4. My colleague and I came in and only finished about 60% of the medium deep dish. At $20 for a medium deep dish pizza, price was OK. read more

My son and I were seated upstairs to the very end of the resto. Seemed like they forgot about us coz nobody approached us after about 10 min. of being placed there. We noticed a big group that came in way after we did had their orders taken right away. So, for disorganization or being negligent from the get go, my son and I left letting the hostess know. One of my favorite pizza joints. Every time my boyfriend and I go to this particular location, we are always given great service and excellent food. However, when we recently ordered a stuffed pizza for takeout, we were confused as to why our pizza was completely uncut. We ordered a half spinach/half sausage pizza, so we didn't know which side was which. After a quick phone call I learned that Giordano's, or perhaps just this location, doesn't cut the pizza unless you ask beforehand. I don't get it. Giordano's, I love you, but seriously, there is no reason to not cut a pizza unless otherwise specified. read more

The pizza is great the service is horrible. It is a Wednesday evening not busy at all. got here at 6:15 and luckily the hostess took my drink and pizza order. I ordered a small 6" deep dish, it takes some time to cook but it took 1-1/2 to get my food after I asked about my order ( the hostess again). Never had a waitress or waiter stop to ask if I needed anything. Final when the pizza came out the waitress bought it out and never came back until I flagged her down to ask for the check. I was in Chicago for a little over 24 hrs so I asked the people at the hotel front desk to recommend a place to go. They suggested getting Chicago deep dish pizza and Giordano's was pretty near by. My co worker and I ended up getting bruschetta and small special deep dish pizza (sausage, bell peppers and onions). They were both awesome. The small was still too much for both of us so we each had a slice and got the rest to go. I'm only giving them 4 stars, however, because of the slowness of the service. We weren't in a hurry and they weren't busy the night we were there but when you have to wait 35-40 minutes between your appetizer and your pizza, I think that's a little too much. read more

The person who was taking orders over the phone on December 7, 2014 at approximately 2:30pm was EXTREMELY rude. We have been getting pizza from this location for years, but going forward we will be getting pizza from somewhere else. They just lost a loyal customer. read more

This was a good place to eat. First time trying a Chicago style deep dish stuffed pizza. I got a small with Pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and black olive. I could not finish it but a took home the left over. read more

I have called twice and both times they messed my order up. The first time my pizza was cold and burnt. They gave me a credit. I order again tonight and they honored the credit but sent me the wrong food about 1.5 hrs after I ordered. Fool me twice, never again will I order from them. The food was excellent unfortunately the same can't be said for the service. It was the monthly meeting of our supper club and reservations had been made ahead of time for our group. Our server came and we were still waiting for a couple people from our group to arriveso she came back around ten minutes later to take our drink order. It was then at ten minutes or more for our drinks to arrive. She then took our dinner order. It took at least twenty minutes before any food arrived which was our appitizer and someone who ordered a salad and someone who ordered a soup before the main item. After about another 20 minutes our main items arrived and those were only for the people who didn't order pizza. By the time most of our party had finished their meal the people in our group that ordered pizza got their pizza which included myself and my friend. From the time we all arrived at 6:40 we did not finish our meal until almost 9. When one the members of our party complained about the poor quality of service to the manager all she did was make excuses and neither the server or manager apologized for the slow service. While the manager gave us a 20% discount off our checks which was appreciated it certainly did not make up for the long waits and unprofessional service given this evening. I and the other members of our group will not return to this location again. read more

I ate in at this location about a week ago and was pretty impressed. Now the food is obviously pricey but once or twice a year it's great to have a huge stuffed pizza. The general manager of the Willowbrook Giordano's on Plainfield Rd. gave our school group of young adults with disabilities a FANTASTIC job tour and pizza-making workshop. Don was patient, accommodating, informative, and thorough. He answered all of our young adult's questions and they learned about all of the different employment opportunities at Giordano's. Several of the students left with job applications because of the amazing experience he provided! We cannot thank Don and the Giordano's staff enough for welcoming our group into their wonderful restaurant and will definitely be returning as patrons and for future educational opportunities. read more

Yes the food speaks for itself, however, the manager Nancy & waitress Patty were terrible. 45 minutes to get our drinks, food came in shifts, like they only had one stove. The waitress had a difficult time calculating the bill, party of 15. Would never go there again. My favorite is the one in Greektown. And they were both very rude to us when we complained. They would wave their hand at you and say, "Your're done" Patty was very rude, never once apologized for all the delays..... Tuesday night & it was not full of people!!! read more

Went out for pizza Friday night and had the pleasure of being served by Quentin Sanchez. Super attentive and personable, even to our crabby 2 year old daughter. She threw her crayons and straw multiple times, and he was right there to pick it up every time. Greeted us right away, had drinks on the table within minutes, and took order right away. Ordered a combo appetizer platter, and a stuffed pizza. Food was great! We will definitely be back and hope to have Quinten as a server again. Way to go Quinten! read more

Had lunch at Giordanos today. The food was very good as usual. Have to comment on the server. His name was John and he did a fantastic job for us, made a great impression with his excellent demeanor. We did not ask for a veterans discount but he was quick to make sure it was deducted as he noticed my husband's cap and then thanked him for his service. He is in college so make sure you tip him well if he is your server. read more

This location truly serves the original stuffed Giordanos (same as the Pulaski location). The best ! The Greek salad is delicious - Cobb salad had way too much olives which made this salad terribly salty and not enough lettuce. Atmosphere is enjoyable, service is great. read more

Giordano's in WIllowbrook just changed their lunch menu and they really blew it! The old menu gave you a baby stuffed pizza, soup or salad, and drink for about $10. Now, it's all a la carte and costs $14-15. That's a 40% or 50% increase!!!! Think I'll be skipping this for lunch until they change their minds. read more

Service is SUPER slow. Almost turned away by hostess and manager because we didn't make a reservation for our group, even though the restaurant was half empty. White wine served at room temperature. Beer served with a chipped glass. Server disappeared and we ended up being at restaurant over 2 hours! All in all, bad service starting with the manager at the hostess table. I ordered the family chicken parmigiana dinner and well it was gross. The dinner consisted of two processed yes processed chicken breast that they cut in half to make four pieces served over spaghetti noodles and sauce. I really couldn't believe I had just paid $40 for two McDonald's dollar chicken patties. They should truly be ashamed for serving this to anyone. Giordano's is just not as tasty as it once was. The food is not bad, but it is no as great s it once was. The thin crust is flimsier than back in the day, they have switched cheese suppliers from 4-5 years ago... definitely some cost cutting by new ownership when they were bought out of bankruptcy read more

It's been years we've had a Giordano's pizza. A coupon in the mail reminded us that we once liked their food and should give them a chance. I felt a bit scruffy and didn't feel like going out to one of their restaurants so we ordered a thin crust for delivery. The order arrived on time, actually abut 15 minutes earlier than planned, and it was pretty darn good. Hot, a good crust, a decent amount of tasty toppings. This pizza falls into the category of those made by Nancy's, Home Run Inn, Barone's. Pretty good stuff. read more
